My wife and I cancelled our cable service over six months ago now, and what a joy it has been. We still watch certain shows and movies on Netflix, but it was such a relief to get away from the ‘regularly scheduled programming’ (pun intended) especially from the news channels, which are bias beyond belief.
I’m lucky, I come from another developed nation that speaks the same language, and is similar in almost every way to this one. Having been raised in a similar yet different enviornment, it wasn’t hard for me to get disconnected with the ‘mainstream’ since I could sense something was out of place already, having grown up under a different culture.
When I was in school in the UK, I was taught critical thinking. When we learned about journalism in English class, we were taught not to be bias, but to judge the information presented from a neutral point of view.
The US media is so bais that it no longer takes a lesson in real journalism to see it. All you have to do is switch off the television and look up some articles online, to see true journalism in effect. When you turn the TV back on, all you see is ‘Liberal this’ and ‘Conservative that’ and you see talking heads on news channels, where they rarely go outside the studio. You see panels of people talking about a subject, but not actually investigating it, or going out in the field. All American news channels take a sound bite, or a clip, or hearsay, and expand it for many minutes out of the hour with a heated discussion about the supposed subject. It’s like watching a gang of high school teenagers discuss which brand has the worst pair of tennis shoes.
Recently I read this article that explains that only 20% of Americans trust the media anymore:
Good luck, and I hope you start seeing what I, and many others are seeing out there right now, that ‘they live’ and that we are no longer informed properly by the media on any channel, and that it is up to us to report the real news out there.
Oh, and coincidentally, does anyone else think that Mitt Romney looks remarkably like one of the aliens in the movie?
The mainstream media claims that Mitt Romney has the GOP nomination, we are being told to pick between the lesser of two evils. Even the son of the greatest presidential candidate in history has flipped sides and decided to support the ‘presumptive nominee’ But the Revolution continues! You see, the Ron Paul Revolution is a philosophical one. It is the idea of self liberty and self determination. For much of the last one-hundred years the US population has been sidetracked into left vs right politicking, and has been left with the choice of ‘the lesser of two evils’.
I will not vote for Mitt Romney, I will not vote for him even with Rand Paul’s support. I will only vote for a man of principle, and that is Ron Paul. What is the point in voting for Obama-lite? Many of Obama’s policies and legislation are Romney inspired. Why would you go out and vote for another progressive? Why would you vote for a known flip-flopper? Why would you vote for another fraud, a snake in sheep’s clothing?
I’ve seen bumper stickers and comments that say that those who voted for Obama are idiots. Well, do you think that voting for McCain made you a saint? The John McCain who supported the bailouts, the wars of aggression in the middle east, and who co-wrote the NDAA act? Do you think that John McCain the progressive would have been much better than Obama the progressive?
All those on the left that say that those who voted for Bush (the counterfeit conservative) are idiots, do you really think that John Kerry would have been better, or Al Gore? Al Gore, the guy who sells the idea of Global Warming, and makes millions trading ‘carbon credits’.
Do you not see that the media steers you into choosing between ‘the lesser of two evils’ on a consistent basis?
When I went to the very first Tea Party in Cincinnati back in early 2009, I was impressed when a man made a speech about how he was tired of voting for ‘the lesser of two evils’. And now I see that the Tea Party, along with its supports such as Rand Paul and Glenn Beck, have abandoned their principles and are now supporting a progressive that is worse than George Bush!
Where are your principles?
Do you really think you’re going to make all that much difference when you throw your support behind a ‘chosen’ candidate who is firmly a part of the establishment? The same establishment that has given you all the rules and regulations, taxes, wars, and liberty stripping security that we now feel under the suffocating pillow of bloated government.
So I ask you, will you vote for another establishment candidate, or will you spread the word of Ron Paul? The word of liberty and the constitution. Or will you become another tool in the New World Order’s toolbox of useful idiots? Blindly believing that if you support their ‘chosen’ candidate, that you are somehow aiding the cause of freedom?
Don’t get swept up into the crowd, stand as an individual for liberty and spread the ideas of the consititution and of self worth. Don’t go along with the ‘mainstream’.
We still have time, and Ron Paul may well sweep the floor at the GOP convention in August in a similar way to how Ronald Reagan did in 1980. Soon the GOP and the democrats will realize that currently; neither have the young vote and that Ron Paul does. We want to live in a free and prosperous society, and we do not like the debt and burdens of slavery currently being handed to us.
The Ron Paul Revolution of liberty and restoring this country continues!
“An idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or any government!” – Ron Paul
I will not endorse Mitt Romney because he is cut from the same cloth of all the other establishment politicians who have sidetracked our great republic over the last century.
The main reason that John McCain lost the 2008 election was because he was almost a carbon copy of George Bush. The same George Bush, who signed the patriot act and started up Guantanamo Bay. This same John McCain later went on to co-write the NDAA act. The same act that Mitt Romney supported, and that Barack Obama signed.
Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are very similar. Mitt Romney introduced socialized medicine in Massachusetts, and Barack Obama copied this example when he signed Obama Care.
If you go to Mitt Romney’s campaign page you’ll see a lot of wording that looks like this; ‘an American century’. Which is curious, since ‘an American century’ is what the neocons came up with at the end of the last century, and helped provide a framework for this century.
The Neo Conservatives and their plan for a new American century has now come into fruition and we are now seeing the progression to an American dominated globe and a new world order. This is why I do not support Mitt Romney, nor Barack Obama and why the only candidate who I support is Ron Paul. There are many media talking heads, including Glenn Beck, who now profess the rise of socialism, and where they may be correct, they are wrong in suggesting that someone like Mitt Romney will help fix this.
If you do not support a candidate with a firm moral ground and a full understanding of the constitution, then you will be personally responsible for this country’s demise from liberty.
This country stands perilously close to a totalitarian society. We have now joined the ranks of communist Russia and Nazi Germany in regard to our own citizens as prisoners. It is time to wake up and take back our liberties. It is time to unite behind Ron Paul and overthrow the establishment. It is time to stop being afraid of ‘the other side’ winning, and realize that it is not about the left vs the right, but about us vs the state and all its bloated bureaucracy and control.
The sun was beginning to set behind the clouds in the distance to the east of the old school building in south east England. The last glimmer of light shined off the science room windows. A young lad around the age of 19 swept up the last remnants of the discarded bits of paper, charcoal and dust from the day’s classroom experiments. Upon rounding the the door to scoop up the last of the day’s debris and dump it in the nearest trash can, a science teacher named George flicked the light on in the tea room and almost bumped into the young lad. “Oh! Hello Paul, I didn’t see you there”. “Hi George” Paul replied, smiling. “Would you like a cup of tea?” George asked. “Sure, replied Paul “Have you decided which country you want to move to yet?” George then replied “I think I’m going to move to New Zealand”. “Wow, New Zealand is a beautiful place, but why not Canada or the USA?” Paul asked. “Well..” replied George “…I’ve lived in Canada before, and it’s an awful lot of paperwork just to get over there, I’ve lived in so many different places now, it would take months just to get all the paperwork sorted out”. “But what about the US?” asked Paul. “Well, don’t get me wrong, I love the US, but their visa’s are hard to get, and I wouldn’t be making as much as I am here. Plus I always get a sense that people live in fear in the US”. Perplexed, Paul asked “why’s that?” Having been on numerous trips to the US over the last couple of years, Paul was beginning to become quite an expert on all things USA related. George then replied “Well, they’re always worried about something…the commies are gonna get you, the terrorists are gonna get you. There’s always a boogie man around every corner for them, and they take it way too seriously. I wouldn’t want to live in that environment. Plus I’ve visited there before, and New Zealand will be a fresh start for me”. Paul mused over this interesting new information “hmm, that’s interesting, I suppose you’ve got a point. I’ll keep that in mind. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new start in New Zealand”. “Thanks” replied George, “I hope you get to move out there and live with your girlfriend in America soon”. Paul finished up his cup of tea and bagged up the trash. He then walked town the hallway, down the stairs and out into the cool late evening air. The sun had set, and the street lights had come on. Paul mused over this information as he walked back to the main school building to clock out for the day. It had been a long work week, and he now had enough money saved up for his next trip back to the states, where he would end up proposing to his long time girlfriend.
Five years later, that young man is now a US citizen, and has experienced many changes to this country since he started living here. I have witnessed the election of Barack Obama, the rise of the Tea Parties, the Glenn Beck Program, the Occupy Wall Street crowds, and all the bias news from the various different media outlets. And now, on reflection, I can say that the US does live in fear. Fear of its economy, fear of other nations, fear of Muslims, of things we don’t know. So many Americas, while being very proud of their nation, its history, and their personal liberties, do not understand the world around them, and are very afraid of what they do not know. I suppose I can’t blame them, the world is a very large and complicated place, and there are bad people out there who will take the chance if they have it to kill you. But those people are few and far between. Most people want to live in peace and live happy lives with their families. The idea of bombing another nation, imposing sanctions, and driving them into the ground, because we are afraid of what they might do is ludicrous.
I recently had a debate with one of my friends on here about Glenn Beck, Mitt Romney, Iran and Ron Paul. Many people think it is naive to leave Iran alone. Where as I agree with Ron Paul that we should make peace with them. That is not to say that we should trust them entirely. But at least resume trading and doing business with them. How can you call this country a free democratic republic when we dictate toward other countries? Iran has posed no threat to us. Sure some of their leaders have spewed rhetoric about Big Satan and Little Satan, in reference to the US and Israel. But to them, with the way that our countries have acted toward them over the last few decades, I can see where they would get that idea. But are we also forgetting that many of our leaders have mentioned turning Iran into glass?
I do not fear a great evil from the middle eastern countries. As master Yoda once said; “Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering. Fear is the path of the dark side.” This mythological term used in Star Wars plays true in reality and in today’s society. Our actions in the middle east and other parts in the world, are beginning to mirror that of empires past, and we are beginning to become a totalitarian society, ruled over by shadowy figures, and left to grind about our daily lives in fear of what might be, instead of living in freedom. Safety and freedom do not go hand in hand. Is this not the land of the free and the home of the brave? Lately I’ve seen many who now live in the land of the debt slaves and and home of the fearful.
Personally I live by the Jedi code:
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.
If it comes to an actual attack on us by another nation, we will respond to it. But preemptive military strikes, mirror that of the Nazis resolve during 1939. If you want a war with Iran, I suggest you go sign up at your local recruitment office and go make your fight in the desert. I want nothing to do with it. I have my own firearms. I’ll only ever use them if I am personally attacked in my own home, or if somehow another military power comes marching down my street. That is the whole point of an armed citizenry; to defend and protect, not to attack and dominate.
Could you really blame Iran if they did acquire a nuclear weapon? They know that if they acquire nukes, that we will leave them alone. The more we provoke them, the more likely they are to acquire them.
And why is it that US politicians speak so highly of Israel, even though Israels leaders use the tactics of fear to control their population?
Is it not Israel that should be feared in the middle east? They and they alone have the power to wipe out the entire middle east. Is it not dangerous to let them continue this way? Or should we be equal in allowing every country to do what it wants?
Why is it that we continue to vote for the lesser of two evils when it comes to politicians and issues? Why is our media so obsessed with talking points instead of investigative journalism? For all those who are preaching ‘anybody but Obama’, I would question you; ‘were you not upset with the Bush administration’s patriot act and Guantanamo Bay?’. You forget that Obama only came about because of the disastrous Bush policies. Neither party right now has our best interests in mind.
It appears that both the US and Israel use the tactics of fear to control the masses. The media is highly controlled and bias, and uses slanted news headlines to help promote lame candidates and to encourage us to vote for the lesser of two evils during elections.
Do you really think that we can survive another decade or two of bad presidents and policies? The days of Ross Perot were a long time ago, and how much has our country improved since?
So where do you stand? Will you vote for another lame candidate who will do nothing to better your freedom? Or will you vote for a candidate who will reverse the trend?
My wife and I left the gym yesterday evening as the sun began to set. We both felt good from the exercise, and we were hungry. Our car was thirsty also; so we gave it some gas, and bought some groceries for our dinner. When paying for the items and gas, I looked at the newspapers sitting in the magazine rack. Every single paper had a headline that read something like this: ‘It’s all over, Romney will now be the republican nominee’, since Rick Santorum had dropped out of the race the day before. All the newspapers were now reporting, no, I should say; selling; the idea that Mitt Romney is now the only option to be the contender against Obama.
The mainstream media has become such a tool of the establishment, that it now creates the news articles, instead of reports the facts.
You see; the election process through the primaries is not like American Idol, where the most popular person wins, (the funny thing is, Romney is not the most popular, Ron Paul is, but they don’t want you to know that) it’s about how many delegates you can get, and how well you are able to steer the process at the convention in August.
Yesterday I mentioned How Warren Harding won in 1920 with just 6% of the delegates.
Reflecting back to the exercise we had just had at the gym, I remembered watching the television screens above the exercise equipment of all the mainstream news networks. None of them were reporting real issues in the world; all of them had talking heads with view points and discussions.
You see, modern American mainstream media has nothing to do with actual facts or real events in the world anymore. It’s all about talking points and politics. It’s like watching a very dreary drama of he said she said rhetoric. You end up more confused after watching one of these discussion shows than you did before you wasted your time sitting down to watch it.
The sad part for me, having studied history, and in particular WWII and the rise of the Nazis; I can see how modern American media is now sharply resembling that of the propaganda used during the rise of the Nazis.
I urge each and every one of you to start looking at independent articles from a variety of different sources. I have links to a few on the sidebar of this blog. My favorites are What Really Happened, Prison Planet, Press TV and The Cato Institute.
And please, like anything in life, take these sites with a pinch of salt. I find myself agreeing with many of the articles, but not all of them. Do not become a sheep that follows everything that one person says, or one source or network. Be an individual and feed your own thoughts from a variety of crops of information.
Having not watched mainstream media television for three months now, my mind feels so much lighter, and I see the reality of the world with a much clearer perspective. I invite you all to do the same.
I suppose it’s been about a month since my last post. I’ve been busy with work, and frustrated with the way the elections have been turning out. It seems the mainstream media has done a great job sidelining Ron Paul. I did however get a pinch of excitement yesterday to see that Rick Santorum has left the race; which means there is only one cannon fodder candidate left to stand against Mitt Romney. I suspect Newt will drop out soon, and then it will be a straight battle between Ron and Mitt. I was however disappointed to see how quickly Glenn has thrown in his support behind Mitt. And this is precisely why I do not follow nor trust Glenn Beck anymore. I used to love Glenn. I have many of his books, and I agree on many of the things that he says. What bothers me is how easily he ignores and sidelines Ron Paul, even though he is the only candidate who is standing up for all the American principles that Glenn so enthusiastically preaches about. And now he has thrown in the towel to get behind a progressive like Mitt Romney, who provided the blueprint for Obama-care. So whose side is Glenn really on?
I’m still vouching for Ron Paul. I’m still vouching for the constitution, and a man of his word who will defend and restore it. I will not vote for Mitt Romney or Barack Obama.
Glenn might be on the right track with much of what he says, but I will not get behind another progressive candidate just because he is a republican. As far as I see it, the democrats as Glenn points out do represent socialism, bordering communism these days, but as far as I see it, the republicans are corporatists bordering fascism these days also, and neither side is good for this country. I want to live in a free world that respects individuals and the rule of law. I want to live in a country that respects individual rights and liberties, and gives everyone a chance to create the future for themselves, without robbing from others to do so.
I find it funny that George Soros himself says that there is not much difference between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. Glenn has spent much of the last few years bashing Soros on a daily bases for being a progressive, and yet now he is supporting the same candidate that Soros supports.
I will not support Mitt Romney. I find it a shame that Glenn will.
And for those who think that the republican presidential race is over. I will leave you with this:
Warren Harding went into the brokered 1920 convention with only 6% of the delegates, but emerged as the party’s nominee. Harding won the general election in a landslide and took a very non-interventionist approach to the Depression of 1921.
Ron Paul will be the republican candidate at the end of the convention. Or else Barack Obama will win the next general election.
I suggest you stand with liberty and a candidate of integrity. Where did Glenn’s integrity go? Does he really stand for American values? I can’t tell, but I suggest you lead your own values, and not just listen to what someone else says.
Our Societies are made and broken on a system of values. If our values are strong and rooted in a common cause for freedom, we will be strong. If our values are rooted in a common cause for collective salvation, our nation will become weak and perish.
My values of freedom, independence and limited government, mean that my political views do not fall into the category of Conservative or Liberal
My views are strictly libertarian in nature, and I follow the constitution of the United States since it embodies many libertarian values.
Libertarianism is a political philosophy that upholds individual liberty, especially freedom of expression and action.
Although Great Britain did create the largest Empire in history, it was mostly done through exploration and peaceful trade agreements. Some skirmishes did happen, but the Empire was not constantly at war, and ruled over its territories with very few people, and lax rules. Peace and Prosperity, laissez-faire capitalism and libertarian values allowed the expansion of the British Empire through trade. This was also a period of great industrial growth and led to the industrial revolution.
Many of the current political establishments throughout the world today, seek to divide and conquer us with the game of Left vs. Right or conservative vs. liberal. While many do have more conservative or liberal opinions, I believe the Overton Window has shifted so that we are all now ‘progressives’. If you support a progressive candidate on either the left or the right, you are essentially a progressive by aiding their agenda.
However there is a third option; we can go back to constitutional values, and start voting for candidates who espouse these values.
While capitalism and a free society with libertarian values are important, peace is the third key to prosperity. We must not engage in unnecessary warfare.
The bald eagle grips an oak branch and 13 arrows. This symbolizes “a strong desire for peace, but will always be ready for war.”
Our current situation, mirroring the downfall of the Roman Empire by taking over countries, is unsustainable, and should be avoided. See my article WWIII, a great depression or liberty to see why another war will ruin us.
‘there is no instance of any country having benefited from prolonged warfare’ – Sun Tzu
We should be peaceful with other countries, and engage in trade. More money and prosperity can be made in peace time than in war time, and more technologies can be invented when there is peace at home to do so to.
There will always be threats to us, and we will confront them, but we cannot continue to create preemptive attacks on other countries simply because we fear them producing a weapon that we already have thousands of ourselves.
We do not have the right to police the world, but we do have a right to protect ourselves, and protect ourselves we shall. We must get back to our roots and become a leader in the world again, a leader for peace and prosperity through freedom, free trade, laissez-faire capitalism and libertarian values. Once we do this, the world will be a better place.
Empires rise and fall, countries rise and fall, and all of this is because the people of the nations allow it to fall to by becoming apathetic. This nation is founded upon the principles of freedom, and thus has the most potential to save itself. A return to values is far more important than any one party, and a return to peace will ensure our survival, and allow our country to thrive once more.
This posting is for those who believe in fiscal responsibility, who believe in the Republic of the United States, but who are on the fence about voting for Ron Paul.
In my previous posts I have told you what I think about all the other candidates, and I have told you why I like Ron Paul, and only him. So here goes:
For all those who think that Ron Paul has a bad foreign policy. I say: remember what diplomacy is and go read ‘The Art of War’.
Even in a simple game of checkers, if you expose too many of your pieces, the opponent can easily take your pieces and win. During the war of independence, the colonialists were always on the run, and Britain won many battles, and yet the colonialists won. Why is that?
Humans the world over have a desire to be free, they do not like to be told what to do, they certainly don’t like to be forced into submission.
All the countries that we are currently bombing despise us for doing so, and we are creating more and more terrorists by agitating the neighboring countries.
Here is a history on Iran:
Ron Paul accurately claims that 50% of all terrorists come from Saudi Arabia.
For those who say that Iran is a threat to us; how? How will they ever get anywhere near us? Their military is tiny compared to ours. So what if they’re developing nuclear weapons? Our technology is far superior to theirs. Do you not think we could deflect a nuclear attack, if they were ever so stupid to launch one?
I think that the media does a good job of making conservatives out to be warmongers and liberals out to be welfare-mongers. Special interests are always in play, and you must be careful not to be steered into one group or another.
So what about Israel? I hear you say. Well what about Israel? Benjamin Netanyahu told us that they are capable of defending themselves.
Think about this: pulling our troops home, means that we have a strong force at home. We still have submarines and aircraft carriers that can circle the world, and we still have friendly alliances with other countries.
Wasn’t it Teddy Roosevelt who said ‘talk softly and carry a big stick’? We have a big stick, we have the most powerful army in the world, but swinging that big stick around constantly will only make us tired and wear us out. It costs billions of dollars to make war and it has warn our economy out.
We must go back to trade and commerce, and learn to get along with other nations no matter what their ambitions may be.
Just look at the Falkland islands, Britain did a very good job taking that land back. And how many countries have invaded their territory since?
War cannot be sustained without a strong and functioning economy. This country is almost bankrupt. We cannot afford to police the world. Our economy is struggling right now, and our debt matches our total GDP for an entire year! How many candidates have a solid plan to fix this? How many candidates are bold enough to make the moves to fix it? As far as I see it; only one!
Eisenhower warned about the military industrial banking complex in his farewell address to the nation:
Look at how the candidates are funded, look at what they talk about, look at how they are dangerously war mongering right now. And tell me his warning has not come true.
If you want a ball busting president like Newt Gingrich, remember that Adolf Hitler himself was considered a great leader and sought security for his country. Remember that Hitler endorsed the police state in the same way Newt currently is.
How would those of you who blog and speak freely about your current distaste of government; like to have the local militarized police force come knocking on your door and have you sent to a FEMA camp? With all the rising tensions in the world, and the ever more secular government, do you not think our current president or next president (other than Ron Paul) will sign an executive order to detain ‘troublemakers’. Think about all the bills that have been signed in just the last year alone that strip our constitutional rights away.
Oh but we need a strong candidate to beat Obama! I hear you say. Look, Newt, Mitt and Santoram are all special interest establishment politicians. They are all corrupt. They only have the backing of the right wing conservatives. Ron Paul has the military vote, he has the blue democrats vote, he has the independents vote, he has the tea party vote and he has the fiscal conservatives vote.
I suggest that during the republican primaries you vote for morality, vote for freedom, and vote for the constitution.
One person can make a difference. By reading sites like these, by finding out information not given to you by the mainstream media, you are already broadening your horizons. There are many people in this country right now who are hungry for information, hungry to hear the truth, and dying to get started on a path back toward liberty, but do not know where to turn.
By talking to a friend at work, or someone in your social group, who is similar minded to you, you can help show them what Ron Paul is really about, you can show them that he stands for liberty, and when they point out that he has a bad foreign policy, you can turn that argument around and tell them that he actually has the best one of all the candidates out there.
Many senior members of the military agree with Ron Paul on his strategy:
Don’t allow yourselves to be divided and conquered by special interests. If you love freedom and independence; unite behind the one man who WILL RESTORE AMERICA NOW
Your vote matters, your opinions matter, your voice matters, talking to your friends and family, standing up for principles and having the courage to point out that the media is wrong and that your family should do their own research; all of this matters.
I have sat down with friends, family and co-workers and told them about Ron Paul, about my experiences in life, in what I’ve learned, and whenever they have presented me with a question I did not know how to answer, I went away and researched it, and told them what I found out the next time I saw them. Sometimes the discussions were heated, but I kept my cool, and asked them as many questions as possible as to why they felt a certain way. Once I told them what I had found out, they tended to listen more intently to be, and began to accept what I told them. The vast majority of them now accept that Ron Paul is the only viable candidate for office of the president, and all are doing their best to spread the word.
We have five full months of campaigning yet to do, and you can reach many people in that time. The battle for freedom is only lost when good men do nothing.
Now the ball is in your court, now you must choose your future.
UPDATE: I just saw this video which really puts things into perspective:
The only problem is that voting for the lesser of two evils (no matter if you choose Obama or one of the other two) is still evil.
Does Newt or Mitt portray fiscal conservative values? Do they have a track record to prove it?
Does Obama show a good record of this? That is a silly question since he has doubled the national debt in only three years, but it must be asked since you will have to ask yourself that when you vote.
I have decided to vote for Ron Paul, no matter if he wins the Republican nomination or not. Whether he runs as an independent or I have to write his name in. There are thousands, if not millions who will do so if it comes to it.
A real patriot does not vote for the less of two evils.
To vote for Gingrich or Romney, just to get rid of Obama, will not fix the fundamental flaws this country is currently experiencing. At least with Obama, you know he is an enemy of the constitution. With Gingrich and Romney you get a lot of rhetoric and talking points, but just like George W Bush, you still get the patriot act and other anti-constitutional bills which erode away at the Republic.
You must choose where you stand. Are you a sunny day patriot? Will you vote simply to remove one tyrant from power, just to replace him with another? Will you replace one snake with another snake in sheep’s clothing?
And for all those holding off on voting for Ron Paul in the primaries because you have been led to believe that he has a dangerous foreign policy. I will show you tomorrow; why I think he actually has the best foreign policy, and why I think he is our last chance to save the Republic.
Your vote matters, but what matters more is standing for principles. Without principles we are nothing. Our Republic is founded upon beliefs and principles. We must stand for them, even if current tyrants hold power.
The current left/right, liberal/conservative genre is used to divide and conquer us. The last major landslide victory in an election was by Ronald Reagan because he spoke to the middle. Both liberals and conservatives alike loved him because he spoke to the common man, because he spoke of liberty for all.
I do not believe that Newt or Mitt could beat Obama, and even if they did, it would be a shallow victory. Has the Overton Window really shifted so far that we would vote a flip flop liberal conservative or a corrupt political establishment 3 time married fraud into the white house? I think not, I think people would rather vote for Obama. And that is indeed sad.
The lesser of two evils is not good enough anymore, it never was, and now it is more important than ever to stand on principles, no matter what the outcome.
As of right now, Ron Paul is still in the race to become the Republican nominee. It is my sincere hope that he succeeds. If he were to run as an independent and split the vote, and not win the overall election, at least he would cut the power down on both sides, and show the nation that independence is more important than simply picking a side. The Tea Party movement is growing, and more and more people are re-discovering the constitution and voting in ways that represent a smaller and more accountable government.
Liberty will prevail if enough people stick to the cause and see it through, no matter how hard the times ahead.
Do you want to see Obama defeated in this year’s presidential election?
Do you want a leader who adheres to the constitution of the United States, or just another teleprompter in chief?
Do you want a strong leader, who will arm wrestle his way through legislation, or a leader who will set this country back on the track of independence and freedom?
My friends, I love freedom, and in the years that I have lived in this great country, I have done a great deal of research into what it means to be an American, and what it means to have liberty.
During the republican debates, I have found only one good candidate for office. There is only one who will put this country back on track, only one who will restore this country to what it should be, and only one who has your freedom in mind.
His name is Ron Paul, and I endorse him to become the next president of the United States.
Now the media would have you believe that Mitt Romney is the front runner, and that he would be the best contestant against President Obama. But would he be the best person to put in the white house? Sure…he’d probably be better than Obama…but given Romney’s flip flop nature, how can we trust him? Romney has lived a life of leisure, and has been groomed for success. But all he’s ever done is loot from other companies, stripped assets, and bloated government.
Newt Gingrich, who is the media’s current flavor of the week, has benefited from certain legislation and would endorse the police state.
For Mitt Romney to become the republican nominee all he needs to do is sit tight, keep his mouth shut and look pretty. Don’t you think he’s quite handsome? Look at that lovely smile…reminds me of someone else I know.
There is one candidate who stands in his way: Ron Paul
No other candidate has a proven background like Ron Paul, and no-one else is standing up toward the special interest media, and corporate groups.
In order to get rid of Ron Paul, the media does its best to blank out Ron Paul, they’ll silence anyone who stands up for him:
They do their best to discredit him, and now that Ron Paul is gaining momentum, they’ll use anything they can to stop him. They’ll even prop up the other candidates and use them as cannon fodder, to protect their chosen one, the illustrious Mitt Romney.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Mitt Romney is not unstoppable; he is not even very popular. He has a lot of big buck backers, and that is about it. All the other candidates are cannon fodder to use against Ron Paul.
Here is an article I read a couple days ago about Mitt Romney’s elect-ability:
Now I’ve heard that Ron Paul is unelectable and he doesn’t have a very good foreign policy.
Well shucks, wasn’t Ronald Reagan ‘unelectable’ also?
Wasn’t Ronald Reagan’s policy to keep the troops home, and rebuild them here on our soil?
Isn’t this country technically bankrupt? At 15 trillion dollars, equivalent to a years output of GDP, do you think we can afford another war? Do you think we can afford to police the world? Do you think we can afford multiple army bases all over the world?
Logic dictates that NO is the only answer.
Do you think it is a good idea to have our troops scattered around the world while the country is going bankrupt? Do you really think another country is going to fill the void and place troops all over the world when America leaves these bases?
Can this country afford another four years of Obama? Can this country afford another teleprompter-in-chief? Can we afford to trust a flip-flopper? Can we afford Romney-Care or Obama-care?
I don’t think this country can withstand much more of these failed polices and big government, from the right or the left.
The only person I see who actually has a concrete plan to fix this nation, to fix the economy, to maintain, preserve and restore freedom is Ron Paul. I don’t think we can afford to allow the media to have us ignore him any more.
For those who love freedom, for those who want a return of independence, for those who wish to return to a smaller government; consider very carefully who you vote for during the primaries.
Here is to freedom and to Ron Paul, whom I believe (if we can get him through the republican primaries) will crush Obama in the debates, and who I believe will not only become the best leader this country has had since Ronald Reagan, but indeed become one of the greatest presidents in history.
