Why Trump won

It’s not about race or gender. It’s about policy. Far fewer black people voted for Hillary Clinton than Barack Obama, while far more black people voted for Donald Trump than voted for Romney. The mainstream media has been wrong about Donald Trump during this entire election cycle and is wrong yet again when they try to paint Trump’s win as purely for white men.

Donald Trump has repeatedly said throughout his speeches that he wants to work for every American. He even detailed out a plan to go to the inner cities and improve education for predominately black and Hispanic communities. That doesn’t sound like someone who’s looking out only for white men.

It’s not about gender. Donald Trump employs many women within the Trump organization. He employed the first woman to be put in charge of building a skyscraper and his campaign manager is the first female to successfully run a GOP presidential campaign.

If you want to get into the basics, Donald Trump won because people were sick and tired of Barack Obama’s agendas and Hillary’s preservation of them. Just the same as people were sick and tired of George W Bush’s agendas eight years ago and their rejection of John McCain’s continuation of them.

why-trump-won

It shouldn’t be such a surprise that a republican win the white house after eight years of democrat control, just like it wasn’t a surprise that Barack Obama won after eight years of republican control under George Bush. After all, who didn’t want ‘hope and change’ after years of wars in the middle east? It is odd then, that any democrats supported Hillary Clinton at all, since she voted for the Iraq war, despite the democrats being the anti war party during the Bush years. So perhaps that plays a part in why she lost.

As far as the economy, bringing back jobs. Americans did not vote for Donald Trump for the things he said. They voted for him for what he has done. Donald Trump is a self made billionaire. After eight years of Barack Obama and a doubling of the national debt, people were sick and tired of it. People need jobs. People want a strong economy. People want education choice. People want lower taxes. Donald Trump has offered all of this. Hillary Clinton did not.

A song played at all of Trumps rallies sings true ‘you can’t always get what you want…but you might find you get what you need.’ America needs Trump right now, despite some of the silly things he has said. When you couple this with Hillary Clinton’s long list of scandals and investigations into her conduct throughout the years, it really shouldn’t surprise anyone that she lost.

So for those who are upset that he won, especially those who are making insinuations of death threats towards him. Knock it off. I’ll bet some of the things you’ve said about him in the last couple of days are far worse than anything he has ever said. We all say stupid things. No one is perfect. But democracy has played out and the American people have decided they want to give this man a chance. So do the decent thing, sit back, relax, breath for a second and watch what happens. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Rediscovering ourselves

Watching movies like ‘Interstellar’, ‘the right stuff’ and ‘space cowboys’ have only highlighted the failings of government to me. NASA was born of bureaucracy, and it has died of bureaucracy. In fifty years, they never perfected space travel. They piggy backed off the designs of Nazi Germany’s scientists and never got away from rocket launching from the ground in order to get men into space. To this day, only several hundred people have ever traveled to the stars.

In just ten years, Virgin Galactic has revolutionized space travel. Burt Rutan’s revolutionary new designs have made space tourism a viable option in the not too distant future. Now, there have been casualties in pushing this envelope, as there always is. Many of progressive mindset have bashed Virgin Galactic in the last couple of weeks for the death of one of their test pilots, while saying that this sort of thing should be left to government experts. Are they referring to the same government experts who spent billions blowing up rockets trying to get them into space, and the many planes that went down trying to break the sound barrier? Lets not forget, that dozens of test pilots died trying to break the sound barrier, and that even with the space shuttle program, which was far from perfect, shuttles still exploded on the way up, and disintegrated on the way down, killing many of the few astronauts to go into space.

Burt Rutan, with a private enterprise backing, has done far more for space travel in the last decade, than any government agency has in the last half a century. This is a good thing, because America in particular as a nation is just now beginning to rediscover itself. The progressive mantra is slowly being pried away. We can see from the November 2014 elections that the heart of America fully and utterly rejects the democrats big government policies, headed by imperial president Barack Obama.

2014 map

While the nation has now almost completely gone red, the real battles are just now coming. Dinosaurs such as Mitch McConnell, and John Boehner have no right to be at the helm of the senate and house, their paid and patented antiquated back room deal ideology belongs on the scrap heap of history. America is beginning to rediscover Capitalism, and its place in our lives. It is Capitalism, the free market system, which spurs growth, which creates opportunities, which pushes us further than we’ve been before. It is capitalism which will take us to the stars, not soviet style big government

Americans, which the help of movies from Christopher Nolan, with constitutionalist tea party groups, and with alternative media, are rediscovering capitalism, and the fruits it bears. The republicans have swept the house and senate in such a way that has not been seen in nearly one hundred years. We now stand upon the precipice of an abyss or a great awakening. The abyss is in believing that the republicans will do what needs to be done on their own to scale back government. The great awakening is in keeping the pressure on them to roll back the reaches of government, and to allow free enterprise to once again blow the fires of industry throughout the land. We are standing on the edge of an abyss or a new renaissance. I know which one I choose. How about you?

We determine the culture each and every day, we decide which direction the country turns. We decide weather to squabble about our place in the dirt, or to reach for the stars. Each and every one of us is responsible for our own futures. In rediscovering ourselves, we reignite ourselves, we blaze a path for others to follow. The future is out there, lets go and create it!

Changes in perception on libertarianism

For a while I considered myself very libertarian, and in many ways I still do, but perhaps now I am more of a little L Libertarian. I am finding myself ever more conservative, especially in light of recent events.

As the news sources continually pour out stories of Russia invading the Ukraine, the rise of the Islamic State, and general belligerence from other nations in the world, I find myself reassessing old points of view on libertarianism.

Point of View

During the 1800’s, from the time of the Napoleonic War all the way until the start of the first world war, Great Britain ruled the oceans. Being a mostly free nation, concentrated on trade, the world entered a boom phase. Not only did the United Kingdom lead the industrial revolution, it brought peace and relative stability to the world, allowing capitalism to flourish.

Today the United States of America is the world’s foremost superpower. It is a mostly free nation, concentrated on trade.  Since the end of the second world war, America has been dominant, maintaining relative peace and stability in the world.

Now, there have been many wars, and many lives lost over the last few decades, but those numbers pale in comparison to the lives lost in the two world wars. The US took up where Britain left off in maintaining trade and capitalism in the world.

America’s foreign policy is one of a projection of force. Most countries have the understanding that if they are peaceful toward us, we are glad to trade with them, if they are hostile toward us, we are likely to obliterate them.

There have been many mistakes in America’s foreign policies over the last few decades, many of which will be argued over for many more decades to come. A lot of people say that we should never have gotten involved in Iraq to begin with, and I can understand these arguments.

However. The rise of the Islamic State is not something the world should sit by and allow to happen. The Islamic State is a barbaric and backwards regime. Not only do they kill thousands of innocent people in droves, but they are totally hostile toward western civilization. They will not stop until we are either all Muslim, or all dead. Forget Al Quadi, they’re soft in comparison, these guys mean business.

As the world’s foremost superpower, we do have a duty to maintain order in the world. As a friend of mine once said “nature abhors a vacuum” Do you really want the likes of communist China, or soviet style Russia to be the world’s new superpower? Do you really think either of these countries will be even close to as fair as Britain and the USA have been to other nations throughout the last two centuries?

Do you really think if we just sit back on our hands that everything will just be alright?

I think not.

We, and we alone can stand up against these tyrants, we and we alone can restore capitalism, free trade and free thought to the world. The American way is one to be proud of.

Here’s to praying that the house and senate are swept with conservative republicans this fall, so that we can finally begin proceedings against our limp wristed, golfer-in-chief, The world will be a lot safer when we finally impeach this anti-colonial, communist traitor from the white house. Barack Obama’s lack of leadership has the world teetering on the verge of a third world war.

Real leadership is needed, and that starts at the grass roots. I am at least thankful for libertarians at that level, helping alter the progressive tendencies the republican party was heading in.

Another issue I am reconsidering is my old stance against Israel. Now, the very creation of Israel after the second world war, much like the creation of Syria and Iraq after the first world war, has caused nothing but problems for the surrounding area for the last few decades. But to say, as I did over a year ago, that Israel is inherently evil, is perhaps naive. Now, the Zionist Illuminati, and other such organizations, those are I believe not healthy to the world, but the Israeli state now exists, for better or for worst, and I do not want to see the killing of innocent women and children. It is not the fault of those born there that the state exists. It is evil however for an organization to launch rockets at peaceful population centers and use women and children as human shields. As the state now exists, Israel does have a right to defend itself. Hamas is an evil terrorist entity. Their emblem includes the communist hammer and sickle. This has made me rethink everything.

As for the general rule that many libertarians are atheist, I do not believe a lack of faith is healthy in society. Lack of faith leads to empty vessels, and after a couple generations of this, they tend to be hungry for new faith, which can be easily steered toward evil. The rise of radical Islam seems to take place right behind the rise of socialism. Socialism is the moral decay of a society, which puts altruism above self interest on the national level. Once this takes foot, it is hard to stop.

I believe in morality, in doing good to others, but also doing well for yourself, and setting a good example.

As for drugs and gay marriage, I do not like the idea of legalizing drugs, but I can see that the drug war has done no good to communities. For gay marriage, how can you support a notion which is generally not accepted by the populace, and damns the very idea of marriage itself?

These are questions I pose not only to my self, but to all libertarians. The fact that a group of people within a country can discuss ideas of freedom in such a way, is a miracle unto itself, but I do not know if all inclusiveness is sustainable.

I pray for the restoration and growth of this great nation and of her people.

Foreign policy

This morning a friend and I were discussing foreign policy. We were talking about the situation in the Ukraine, Russia’s aggression, and the history of the cold war. My friend went into detail about America’s roll in the world in the 20th Century, and I discussed England’s role, particularly in the 19th century. We both agreed that having an English speaking nation patrolling the seas, was essential to protecting free trade, and ensuring our liberties here at home.

We discussed what we would do if either of us was president, instead of our current befuddling fool in the White House. His was more of an aggressive plan, threatening Putin, while mine was more diplomatic. If I were the president, I would use the 1994 Budapest Memorandum to send US Troops into the Northern part of the Ukraine, with a statement that the troops will be put there to ensure a peaceful transition of power while the interim government goes about holding fair elections.

ukraine 1

Many would view this as escalating the situation and provoking a third world war. Yes, it would escalate the situation, but it would stop Russia in its tracks. In fact, it may even prevent a third world war, because it would stop Russia from gobbling up sovereign nations, and consolidating more power for itself. Remember that Nazi Germany gobbled up neighboring territories in the late 1930’s, and then became unstoppable when it invaded Poland.

History is repeating itself, as it always does. Sometimes you have to meet aggression with aggression. Now I’m not saying we should go bomb Russia, or attack its troops or assets in the region. I’m simply saying we should put troops on the ground, in accordance with the existing treaty, and then figure out a peaceful deal with Russia to ensure a smooth transition of power in the Ukraine.

ukraine 2

It is my understanding that much of the Crimea is actually of Russian decent, and consider themselves Russian before Ukrainian. That’s fine, if they want to hold a referendum and rejoin Russia, that should be put on the table. The northern part of the Ukraine could then hold a referendum to install a pro western leader, and then join the EU. In this instance, both sides win, and both sides save face.

Now, if we don’t do anything, Russia will attack the Ukraine, our president will look like the idiot he actually is, and Russia will aggressively expand her territory, while we sit on our hands, with the most powerful military in the world, looking pathetic and weak, when we could easily stop the aggression, without even a shot being fired.

ukraine 3

Now, I know my libertarian friends will be furious that I would even suggest all this, but, we are the worlds foremost superpower, and we are a constitutional republic. We ensure free trade in the world, we are the check against Communist China, and aggressive nations like Russia. While I agree we should not go out of our way to meddle in other countries affairs, when we have treaties, we should enforce them. It’s a very fine line. We should promote and protect counties which want democracies and free trade.

That is my take on the situation. Unfortunately, I fear we will do nothing in this instance, and Russia will grow in power, while we sit around and do nothing but unnecessarily lose influence in the world.

What would you do if you were in power?

Obama is the joke of the world

As the Russian military prepares a full scale invasion of the Ukraine, President Barack Obama issues a weak response to the occupation of the Crimea by Vladimir Putin’s forces.

Barack Obama’s polls are down at home, our economy is going sour, and there are many signs that it is about to crash. His healthcare bill is a complete disaster, our debt is at astronomical new highs, and he continues to spread more money for failed social programs while publicly announcing cuts to our military.

obama joke 2

All this comes on top of scandal after sandal by his administration; Benghazi, fast and furious, the NSA spying on everyone, the IRS auditing conservative competitors. Mr Obama is no longer the darling of the left, nor of the world, who were practically at his feet when he took office.

Even in Germany where he was loved as a senator before his election, there are now graphics depicting him as the Stasi.

obama joke 1

Vladimir Putin, who is a cold calculating ex KGB operative, has now ponced on this weakness, and is preparing to retake what he sees as his in the Ukraine. The world is watching as our weak and foolish president sits back and does nothing, except issue empty rhetoric; symbolic of his entire term as president.

What a shame for this country that the first black president of the United States will be remembered not for the content of his character, but for the color of his skin. He has proved himself once and for all to be completely incompetent, and he has seriously weakened our nation, both at home and abroad.

While Russia’s Putin calculates war in the Ukraine, President Obama and Vice President Biden jog around the white house, while Michelle Obama gets ready to star in a sitcom. These people are so far removed from reality it is astounding.

I pray for the people in the Ukraine, and for the stability here at home over the coming weeks. Barack Obama is surely the joke of the world.

Civil disobedience and the end of the Obama regime

This week marks the end of the Obama Regime; if the republicans hold strong in the house.

obama reg 5

Barack Obama has miscalculated dramatically in his staged shutdown of the government; with his ‘barrycading’ of national monuments and national parks.

obama reg 1

We the people will not be stopped. Across the nation American’s are giving the government the middle finger, and sneaking into parks anyway. Veterans have stormed memorials, and earlier this week a patriot was found mowing the grass of the Lincoln memorial.

obama reg 6

South Carolina Patriot Mows Lincoln Memorial Lawn! Becomes National Hero!

A few weeks ago we had the million biker march on DC, and this week we have the million trucker march to lock up the beltway around the capitol.

There are protests outside the capitol, and while Obama plays golf, the nation grows ever more angry over his arrogance.

With the abysmal failure of Obamacare’s grand opening this week, the blockading of national monuments, and the orders to inflict as much pain as possible on the American people, Barack Obama’s popularity is fading quickly.

This week Barack Obama is no more popular that Bush was during his lowest point, at a tragic 37%.

obama reg 7

The end of the Obama regime is nigh, just so long as republicans stay strong in the house, and you the people continue to pressure them. It is now only a matter of time.

Impeach Obama now!

Now is the time to impeach president Obama.

obama 2

President Barack Hussein Obama is ‘pondering’ strikes on Syria, without even consulting congress. No president of the United States is allowed to declare war or strike another nation without congressional approval or declaration of war by the senate. Since the United States is under no ‘imminent threat’ by Syria, there can be no legal course of action taken against this sovereign nation.

obama 3

Barack Obama now has a string of allegations and scandal’s against him, many of which are impeachable.

obama 7

The utter hypocrisy by this president is palpable. During his campaign speeches for president, he derided George W Bush for his invasion of Iraq. And yet here we stand today with Obama having racked up his own set of war crimes.

obama 6

President Obama is a clear and present threat to this nation. His government’s policy of reckless spending has this country on the verge of complete monetary collapse. His complete mismanagement of the country and forcing of the healthcare mandate is suffocating this once prosperous nation.

obama 5

President Obama’s ‘pondering’ of a limited strike on Syria is not only unconstitutional, it is delusional stupidity. This one act could spark a chain reaction which brings about the start of World War III. This man’s erratic and derisive behavior threatens our very way of life, and will throw this country into oblivion if left unchecked.

obama 4

No president is allowed to sign multiple executive orders and declare wars without the approval of congress and without the use of the separation of powers.

obama 1

Mr Obama has made himself into a king figure, this is totally unacceptable and completely against what the revolutionary war was fought for.

obama 8

In order to preserve our constitution and our way of life, and to show as an example to new presidents in office, the time to impeach president Obama is now!

obama 9

A necessary loss

November 2012 provided us with a necessary loss. While the re-election of Barack Obama will deal us a near fatal blow over the coming years, it also saved us from the wolf in sheep’s clothing dressed in Mitt Romney. The pro tax, pro gun legislation candidate was not all that much better than Obama to begin with, and since his defeat, many RINO’s have been spotted and shown their true colors. The likes of John McCain (another candidate against Obama mind you) and other senators such as Lindsey Graham have shown the nation that they are progressives, and have no interest in your liberties.

While the re-election of Barack Obama is a smack in the face for our country, it does not come without a silver lining.

The rise of the libertarian revolution is well under way. The RINO’s of the Republican Party have been targeted, and the Libertarian conservatives are well on the rise.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/aug/16/ron-paul-channel-new-show

Alternative news networks are being established, and are beginning to take the fight to the complicit mainstream media.

It’s frightening to think that when Glenn Beck wrote ‘The Overton Window’ only a few years ago it sounded like pure fiction, and now it has for the most part become pure fact. There are forces that are trying to take down this nation, and there are people actively plotting to end freedom and create a new world order.

This past weekend I spent a few hours reading his latest fiction book ‘The Eye of Moloch’ and was stunned at how accurately he portrays the not to distant future in America. I’m concerned because his last book came into fruition shortly after it was released.

While I usually take Glenn Beck with a grain of salt (his bashing of Ron Paul; a noted libertarian during the 2008 and 2012 republican campaigns have myself and other libertarians very suspicious about his ulterior motives) I do enjoy his fiction work, because his writing style is bite sized and full of vocabulary. Both ‘The Overton Window’ and ‘The Eye of Moloch’ are very informative about what is really going on out there, while giving an adventurous back drop.

While there may be IRS agents currently training in Atlanta on how to implement Obamacare, it is only a matter of time before the 2014 elections come up, and many progressives will be replaced by libertarian leaning senators. It is the job of all the Tea Parties and Libertarian organizations to take this fight for all that it is worth and ensure that new senators and representatives are not only thrown into the ring, but win during this crucial time in our nation’s (and the world’s) history.

impeach

If we can win this next round of elections, we can push forward with impeachment proceedings against our self imposed king, and rid the country of the cancerous ‘Obamacare’ which is stifling innovation in the work place.

And as for the next election; Rand Paul has already set the stage. He knew that without his father as the GOP nominee, they would fail in November last year. It cost him nothing, except a little scorn from Libertarians including myself to get behind Mitt Romney during his run. He knew that the flip flop would fail, and that it would set him up for November 2016. He and his father have been sowing the seeds of an intellectual revolution in the minds of Libertarians and Tea Party people alike over the last five years, and their constitutional minded tactics are beginning to pay off.

While the impending doom of collectivism is now close on our heels, the shining beacon of liberty is within reach. Is today really so much different than what the patriots of the revolution faced all those years ago? I think not.

Liberty is within reach because an idea cannot be defeated by any army or any government. Keep your head up, keep your wits about you; this fight is only just getting started.

the fight has just begun

An Orwellian America

The following post is a good example of where this country is heading. I do not bash both the left and the right for no reason. I want freedom for everyone, individual liberty is my ultimate goal. Please take time to read through the following material and study the graphs.

An Orwellian America

Zero Hedge – by Gordon T. Long

As a young man, I voraciously read George Orwell’s “1984”,  Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World” and Alvin Toffler’s trilogy which included “Future Shock”‘, “The Third Wave” and “Power Shift”. During the era of the Vietnam War, I wondered seriously about the future and how it was destined to unfold. Now being considerably older, I have the vantage point to reflect back on my early ruminations and expectations. Unfortunately, I am too old to alter the lessons that are now so painfully obvious. Instead, I pass the gauntlet to those who can understand and take action on what I have unavoidably come to expect for America.

A FRAMEWORK OF UNDERSTANDING

THE ‘HUXLEY-ORWELL’ TRANSITION

I recently read a perceptive paper by Chris Hedges that would have made any English Professor envious, powerfully philosophical but not something an Economics department would pay much attention to. I found it both intriguing and enlightening.

I have borrowed so heavily from it, that I am unsure where the lines diverge. Therefore, below I give full credit to Chris Hedges and take full credit for all the bad ideas.

Chris Hedges of TruthDig.com wrote 2011: A Brave New Dystopia, from which the following evolved.

The two greatest visions of a future dystopia were George Orwell’s “1984” and Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World.” The debate, between those who watched our descent towards corporate totalitarianism, was who was right. Would we be, as Orwell wrote, dominated by a repressive surveillance and security state that used crude and violent forms of control? Or would we be, as Huxley envisioned, entranced by entertainment and spectacle, captivated by technology and seduced by profligate consumption to embrace our own oppression? It turns out Orwell and Huxley were both right. Huxley saw the first stage of our enslavementOrwell saw the second.

We have been gradually disempowered by a corporate state that, as Huxley foresaw, seduced and manipulated us through:

•    Sensual gratification,
•    Cheap mass-produced goods,
•    Boundless credit,
•    Political theater and
•    Amusement.

While we were entertained,

•    The regulations that once kept predatory corporate power in check were dismantled,
•    The laws that once protected us were rewritten and
•    We were impoverished.

Now that:

•    Credit is drying up,
•    Good jobs for the working class are gone forever and
•    Mass-produced goods are unaffordable,

…. we find ourselves transported from “Brave New World” to “1984.”

The state, crippled by massive deficits, endless war and corporate malfeasance, is clearly sliding toward unavoidable bankruptcy.

It is time for Big Brother to take over from Huxley’s feelies, the orgy-porgy and the centrifugal bumble-puppy.

We are transitioning from a society where we are skillfully manipulated by lies and illusions to one where we are overtly controlled.

Huxley, we are discovering, was merely the prelude to Orwell.

Now that the corporate coup is over, we stand naked and defenseless. We are beginning to understand, as Karl Marx knew:

Unfettered and unregulated capitalism is a brutal and revolutionary force that exploits human beings and the natural world until exhaustion or collapse.

UNSOUND MONEY LEADS TO STATISM

With this as a backdrop let’s explore how Unsound Money in concert with the Huxley-Orwell Transition leads to Statism, the path which I believe we are presently on.

THE CATALYSTS BEHIND THE “TRANSITION”

1- UNSOUND MONEY

•    Removal from Gold Standard and adoption of Fiat Currency regime (in August 1971 during the winding down of the Vietnam War; the first War ever fought without tax increases to pay for it; the beginning of endless ‘conflicts’ and the War on “Terror”).
•    Creation and Fostering of a $67 Trillion Shadow Banking Credit Growth,
•    Massive Securitization & Off Balance Sheet Contingent Liability Debt Growth.

2- POLICY FAILURES

•    Failed Monetary Policy & Monetary Malpractice,
•    Moral Malady,
•    Failed Fiscal Policy,
•    Failed Public Policy,
•    Growth of Political Polarization,
•    Entrenched ‘Left-Right’ Factions,
•    An Un-Governable Democracy.

3- CRISIS OF TRUST

•    Lost Respect & Confidence
•    A Doomed Middle Class
•    A Broken Social Contract

4- AUTHORITARIAN ACCEPTANCE

•    Central Planning
•    Growth in Regulations & Control
•    Crony Capitalism & Corporatocracy
•    Big Government
•    The Huxley – Orwell Transition

CRUMBLING BARRIERS

•    The Great Huxley-Orwell Transition
•    From Manipulative to Repressive

ROADBLOCKS
•    Financial Security through Sound Money            REMOVED
•    Reduced Personal Freedoms through a Crisis         PENDING
•    Reduced Personal Security through a Constitutional Crisis    FUTURE

DRIVERS
•    Globalization & Complexity
o    Fragile versus Robust Systems
o    Interconnectivity and Counter Party Dependency

•    The Productivity Paradox
o    Creative Destruction & Job Creation

Let’s shift gears and consider what “greases the skids” in enabling this transition in our society to occur.

COLLECTIVISM

In The Road to Serfdom, F.A. Hayek showed how governments, supported by a collectivist mindset, always tend towards totalitarianism. Even the most libertarian government thus far created, the government of the United States, has slipped incrementally towards totalitarianism over the past two centuries. This is because it is an inherent trait of a government.

The degree of socialism in the United States increased substantially after the establishment of the Federal Reserve System (1913) and the measures taken during the Great Depression (1929-46) which it created. Ever since the early 1900′s the United States has had a two-party system dominated by ‘socialists’. The Republican Party has always advocated conservative socialism. The Democratic Party, which in the 19th century favored libertarianism, advocates social-democratic socialism. So long as people are divided by Left and Right, Democratic and Republican, the US is prone to being influenced by factions who transcend party politics and from behind the scenes could possible exert strong control over the United States. They could do this by maintaining power over public opinion and hence over the course of government. Steadily, the United States has been travelling down the road to totalitarianism, and many people have not noticed, possibly because they are only looking at the position on the Left-Right paradigm.

Upon further analysis, it is clear that Left, Right and Centre, are all forms of socialism. In particular, we may call them “social-democratic socialism” (the Left) and “conservative socialism” (the Right). They are both socialism because they both share the principle that the government should “run” and “mold” society, by using legal force and intervention to transfer property and personal wealth as part of the political scientists’ process of ‘redistribution of wealth’.

The differences are only in the particular ways the government should run society – the methods it should use, and who, exactly, should be the recipients of government wealth transfers and who should pay. In particular:
•    Social democrats tend to prefer heavy taxation, large wealth transfers to the poor, and nationalized industries, and oppose price controls, regulations and behavioral controls.
•    Conservatives tend to prefer lower taxation, a smaller welfare state, regulated (cartelized) industries, price controls, product  and behavioral controls.

Nolan Charts: Personal Freedom versus Economic Freedom

The modern Republican Party is Center-Right on the Left-Right paradigm. As with the Democratic Party, this obscures the huge range of views Republicans hold on how powerful and how much control the State should be allowed. Their 2008 presidential nominee John McCain, like Barack Obama, strongly favored socialism, though with a Right-wing flavor. Barack Obama (blue circle) and John McCain (red circle) are positioned in the accompanying graphic. Thus, the two main candidates at the 2008 Presidential election represented a false choice – really no choice at all. One candidate, Ron Paul (yellow circle), stood in stark contrast to the candidates, favored by the mainstream media and political establishment. As would be expected, he was neutralized by the mainstream media outlets as a zealot with an unsound political view of America.

THE POLITICAL CONTINUUM

THE EMERGING ROADMAP TO STATISM

Let me now develop and explore the roadmap that outlines the path leading from Policy Failures and Monetary Malpractice, stemming from Unsound Money, to STATISM.
First we will build the outline for the basis of a roadmap on a number of observable continuums.

The more complex that issues become, the more collectivism will dominate and individual needs will be repressed. In turn governments will be forced to be more repressive to maintain control over increasing polarization and diverse views and opinions.

EVOLVING STAGES
When we arrange our various continuums we arrive at the representative grid model shown below.

We will quickly acknowledge it is not ideal, but it allows many concepts currently at play to be shown in relationship to others.

This grid is best described as the social forces at play within Globalization – Financial, Economic and Political.

DRIVER$ – VISIBLE & INVISIBLE
There are both visible and less visible forces at play that are forcing ‘greasing’ the skids in the movement towards Statism.

The roadmap integrates well into our roadmap from our THESIS 2011: Beggar-Thy-Neighbor / Currency Wars and2012 Thesis: Financial Repression papers. ()

ORWELL’S 1984 IS HAPPENING

We are one crisis away from a police state. All the powers are in place. Someone will flip the switch. Whether a Cyber Attack, escalating Currency War tensions or a ‘terrorist’ attack by indebted college youth, it is only a matter of time and circumstance.

Shaking up the establishment

As our King is about to be re-crowned and we must look at the failings within our own party to realize why he manged to get put on the throne to begin with.

Please watch this documentary and take in the essence of what it means to campaign for liberty in the face of tyrannical opposition:

Ron Paul campaigned in both 2008 and 2012, both times he was ignored by the establishment and the media. Both times he could have beaten Obama in a toe to toe election. Our party has strayed away from us, as the democratic party strayed away from liberals many decades ago. It’s time to reclaim the party, elect tea party and libertarian candidates, and take back the country!

Revolutions are long term projects and our revolution is just now beginning to ripen. Ron Paul’s son is now standing up for our constitutional rights in the senate, and he is being backed by millions of people all over the country. We are paving the way not for another RINO or a socialist democrat, but for a constitutional libertarian minded conservative to become president in 2016. We are entering perhaps our darkest hour in the liberty movement, but our light shines on, and our movement is growing. We will take this country back, and we’ll do it by shaking up the establishment, and putting real leaders in charge.
