Why Trump won

It’s not about race or gender. It’s about policy. Far fewer black people voted for Hillary Clinton than Barack Obama, while far more black people voted for Donald Trump than voted for Romney. The mainstream media has been wrong about Donald Trump during this entire election cycle and is wrong yet again when they try to paint Trump’s win as purely for white men.

Donald Trump has repeatedly said throughout his speeches that he wants to work for every American. He even detailed out a plan to go to the inner cities and improve education for predominately black and Hispanic communities. That doesn’t sound like someone who’s looking out only for white men.

It’s not about gender. Donald Trump employs many women within the Trump organization. He employed the first woman to be put in charge of building a skyscraper and his campaign manager is the first female to successfully run a GOP presidential campaign.

If you want to get into the basics, Donald Trump won because people were sick and tired of Barack Obama’s agendas and Hillary’s preservation of them. Just the same as people were sick and tired of George W Bush’s agendas eight years ago and their rejection of John McCain’s continuation of them.

why-trump-won

It shouldn’t be such a surprise that a republican win the white house after eight years of democrat control, just like it wasn’t a surprise that Barack Obama won after eight years of republican control under George Bush. After all, who didn’t want ‘hope and change’ after years of wars in the middle east? It is odd then, that any democrats supported Hillary Clinton at all, since she voted for the Iraq war, despite the democrats being the anti war party during the Bush years. So perhaps that plays a part in why she lost.

As far as the economy, bringing back jobs. Americans did not vote for Donald Trump for the things he said. They voted for him for what he has done. Donald Trump is a self made billionaire. After eight years of Barack Obama and a doubling of the national debt, people were sick and tired of it. People need jobs. People want a strong economy. People want education choice. People want lower taxes. Donald Trump has offered all of this. Hillary Clinton did not.

A song played at all of Trumps rallies sings true ‘you can’t always get what you want…but you might find you get what you need.’ America needs Trump right now, despite some of the silly things he has said. When you couple this with Hillary Clinton’s long list of scandals and investigations into her conduct throughout the years, it really shouldn’t surprise anyone that she lost.

So for those who are upset that he won, especially those who are making insinuations of death threats towards him. Knock it off. I’ll bet some of the things you’ve said about him in the last couple of days are far worse than anything he has ever said. We all say stupid things. No one is perfect. But democracy has played out and the American people have decided they want to give this man a chance. So do the decent thing, sit back, relax, breath for a second and watch what happens. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

An Orwellian America

The following post is a good example of where this country is heading. I do not bash both the left and the right for no reason. I want freedom for everyone, individual liberty is my ultimate goal. Please take time to read through the following material and study the graphs.

An Orwellian America

Zero Hedge – by Gordon T. Long

As a young man, I voraciously read George Orwell’s “1984”,  Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World” and Alvin Toffler’s trilogy which included “Future Shock”‘, “The Third Wave” and “Power Shift”. During the era of the Vietnam War, I wondered seriously about the future and how it was destined to unfold. Now being considerably older, I have the vantage point to reflect back on my early ruminations and expectations. Unfortunately, I am too old to alter the lessons that are now so painfully obvious. Instead, I pass the gauntlet to those who can understand and take action on what I have unavoidably come to expect for America.

A FRAMEWORK OF UNDERSTANDING

THE ‘HUXLEY-ORWELL’ TRANSITION

I recently read a perceptive paper by Chris Hedges that would have made any English Professor envious, powerfully philosophical but not something an Economics department would pay much attention to. I found it both intriguing and enlightening.

I have borrowed so heavily from it, that I am unsure where the lines diverge. Therefore, below I give full credit to Chris Hedges and take full credit for all the bad ideas.

Chris Hedges of TruthDig.com wrote 2011: A Brave New Dystopia, from which the following evolved.

The two greatest visions of a future dystopia were George Orwell’s “1984” and Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World.” The debate, between those who watched our descent towards corporate totalitarianism, was who was right. Would we be, as Orwell wrote, dominated by a repressive surveillance and security state that used crude and violent forms of control? Or would we be, as Huxley envisioned, entranced by entertainment and spectacle, captivated by technology and seduced by profligate consumption to embrace our own oppression? It turns out Orwell and Huxley were both right. Huxley saw the first stage of our enslavementOrwell saw the second.

We have been gradually disempowered by a corporate state that, as Huxley foresaw, seduced and manipulated us through:

•    Sensual gratification,
•    Cheap mass-produced goods,
•    Boundless credit,
•    Political theater and
•    Amusement.

While we were entertained,

•    The regulations that once kept predatory corporate power in check were dismantled,
•    The laws that once protected us were rewritten and
•    We were impoverished.

Now that:

•    Credit is drying up,
•    Good jobs for the working class are gone forever and
•    Mass-produced goods are unaffordable,

…. we find ourselves transported from “Brave New World” to “1984.”

The state, crippled by massive deficits, endless war and corporate malfeasance, is clearly sliding toward unavoidable bankruptcy.

It is time for Big Brother to take over from Huxley’s feelies, the orgy-porgy and the centrifugal bumble-puppy.

We are transitioning from a society where we are skillfully manipulated by lies and illusions to one where we are overtly controlled.

Huxley, we are discovering, was merely the prelude to Orwell.

Now that the corporate coup is over, we stand naked and defenseless. We are beginning to understand, as Karl Marx knew:

Unfettered and unregulated capitalism is a brutal and revolutionary force that exploits human beings and the natural world until exhaustion or collapse.

UNSOUND MONEY LEADS TO STATISM

With this as a backdrop let’s explore how Unsound Money in concert with the Huxley-Orwell Transition leads to Statism, the path which I believe we are presently on.

THE CATALYSTS BEHIND THE “TRANSITION”

1- UNSOUND MONEY

•    Removal from Gold Standard and adoption of Fiat Currency regime (in August 1971 during the winding down of the Vietnam War; the first War ever fought without tax increases to pay for it; the beginning of endless ‘conflicts’ and the War on “Terror”).
•    Creation and Fostering of a $67 Trillion Shadow Banking Credit Growth,
•    Massive Securitization & Off Balance Sheet Contingent Liability Debt Growth.

2- POLICY FAILURES

•    Failed Monetary Policy & Monetary Malpractice,
•    Moral Malady,
•    Failed Fiscal Policy,
•    Failed Public Policy,
•    Growth of Political Polarization,
•    Entrenched ‘Left-Right’ Factions,
•    An Un-Governable Democracy.

3- CRISIS OF TRUST

•    Lost Respect & Confidence
•    A Doomed Middle Class
•    A Broken Social Contract

4- AUTHORITARIAN ACCEPTANCE

•    Central Planning
•    Growth in Regulations & Control
•    Crony Capitalism & Corporatocracy
•    Big Government
•    The Huxley – Orwell Transition

CRUMBLING BARRIERS

•    The Great Huxley-Orwell Transition
•    From Manipulative to Repressive

ROADBLOCKS
•    Financial Security through Sound Money            REMOVED
•    Reduced Personal Freedoms through a Crisis         PENDING
•    Reduced Personal Security through a Constitutional Crisis    FUTURE

DRIVERS
•    Globalization & Complexity
o    Fragile versus Robust Systems
o    Interconnectivity and Counter Party Dependency

•    The Productivity Paradox
o    Creative Destruction & Job Creation

Let’s shift gears and consider what “greases the skids” in enabling this transition in our society to occur.

COLLECTIVISM

In The Road to Serfdom, F.A. Hayek showed how governments, supported by a collectivist mindset, always tend towards totalitarianism. Even the most libertarian government thus far created, the government of the United States, has slipped incrementally towards totalitarianism over the past two centuries. This is because it is an inherent trait of a government.

The degree of socialism in the United States increased substantially after the establishment of the Federal Reserve System (1913) and the measures taken during the Great Depression (1929-46) which it created. Ever since the early 1900′s the United States has had a two-party system dominated by ‘socialists’. The Republican Party has always advocated conservative socialism. The Democratic Party, which in the 19th century favored libertarianism, advocates social-democratic socialism. So long as people are divided by Left and Right, Democratic and Republican, the US is prone to being influenced by factions who transcend party politics and from behind the scenes could possible exert strong control over the United States. They could do this by maintaining power over public opinion and hence over the course of government. Steadily, the United States has been travelling down the road to totalitarianism, and many people have not noticed, possibly because they are only looking at the position on the Left-Right paradigm.

Upon further analysis, it is clear that Left, Right and Centre, are all forms of socialism. In particular, we may call them “social-democratic socialism” (the Left) and “conservative socialism” (the Right). They are both socialism because they both share the principle that the government should “run” and “mold” society, by using legal force and intervention to transfer property and personal wealth as part of the political scientists’ process of ‘redistribution of wealth’.

The differences are only in the particular ways the government should run society – the methods it should use, and who, exactly, should be the recipients of government wealth transfers and who should pay. In particular:
•    Social democrats tend to prefer heavy taxation, large wealth transfers to the poor, and nationalized industries, and oppose price controls, regulations and behavioral controls.
•    Conservatives tend to prefer lower taxation, a smaller welfare state, regulated (cartelized) industries, price controls, product  and behavioral controls.

Nolan Charts: Personal Freedom versus Economic Freedom

The modern Republican Party is Center-Right on the Left-Right paradigm. As with the Democratic Party, this obscures the huge range of views Republicans hold on how powerful and how much control the State should be allowed. Their 2008 presidential nominee John McCain, like Barack Obama, strongly favored socialism, though with a Right-wing flavor. Barack Obama (blue circle) and John McCain (red circle) are positioned in the accompanying graphic. Thus, the two main candidates at the 2008 Presidential election represented a false choice – really no choice at all. One candidate, Ron Paul (yellow circle), stood in stark contrast to the candidates, favored by the mainstream media and political establishment. As would be expected, he was neutralized by the mainstream media outlets as a zealot with an unsound political view of America.

THE POLITICAL CONTINUUM

THE EMERGING ROADMAP TO STATISM

Let me now develop and explore the roadmap that outlines the path leading from Policy Failures and Monetary Malpractice, stemming from Unsound Money, to STATISM.
First we will build the outline for the basis of a roadmap on a number of observable continuums.

The more complex that issues become, the more collectivism will dominate and individual needs will be repressed. In turn governments will be forced to be more repressive to maintain control over increasing polarization and diverse views and opinions.

EVOLVING STAGES
When we arrange our various continuums we arrive at the representative grid model shown below.

We will quickly acknowledge it is not ideal, but it allows many concepts currently at play to be shown in relationship to others.

This grid is best described as the social forces at play within Globalization – Financial, Economic and Political.

DRIVER$ – VISIBLE & INVISIBLE
There are both visible and less visible forces at play that are forcing ‘greasing’ the skids in the movement towards Statism.

The roadmap integrates well into our roadmap from our THESIS 2011: Beggar-Thy-Neighbor / Currency Wars and2012 Thesis: Financial Repression papers. ()

ORWELL’S 1984 IS HAPPENING

We are one crisis away from a police state. All the powers are in place. Someone will flip the switch. Whether a Cyber Attack, escalating Currency War tensions or a ‘terrorist’ attack by indebted college youth, it is only a matter of time and circumstance.

Stockholm syndrome

Many voters on both sides of the political spectrum are currently experiencing ‘Stockholm syndrome’.

Mitt Romney has a terrible record as governor of Massachusetts, and so does US House Representative Paul Ryan. And yet now that they are on the campaign trail they say a few nice things that make us feel good, and the republicans support them.

The same is true with the Democrats. Barack Obama has been a terrible president, and yet his supporters still root for him as the lesser of two evils, even  though he passed the NDAA act and kept our troops over seas.

George Bush was supposed to be a moderate conservative and yet he massively increased spending, the debts, government and he started two wars. Obama is a continuation of that presidency, and Mitt Romney is an expansion and continuation of that further. And yet we see people on both sides clinging strongly to their statist candidates because they are afraid of what ‘the other side’ might do if elected to office. Rather than realize that their own party is as damaging to their livelihoods and freedoms as ‘the other side’.

We are now expected to vote through fear of what the other side might do if allowed to get office, rather than realizing that both are wrong and will only harm us.

The republican establishment showed last week that it is not interested in your constitutional rights, they laid out in plain sight this year that they are only interested in unbridled power. The RNC prevented Ron Paul from speaking, and shut down any chance of him being nominated.

We have heard that “we need to vote in Romney in first! Then we can influence him!” which sounds like something Nancy Pelosi would say “we need to vote for it first before we read it”.

We’ve now got people thinking that Mitt Romney is a good manager and thinking outside of the box for picking Ryan as a fiscal conservative, which is completely unfounded, given his voting record.

Paul Ryan is not a good man, and is beginning to show his colors again while campaigning. Remember that Paul Ryan practically begged for the auto bailouts:

Mitt Romney chose to shun Ron Paul, who, if only he’d been allowed to speak, and his delegates been allowed to share their voices and concerns, may well have put their support behind him. Instead he choose to put up Clint Eastwood, whom I admire greatly. But Mitt Romney’s Dirty Harry stunt backfired. The liberal media of course derided the speech, but interestingly, so did the conservative media including Glenn Beck. This has helped to expose the fallacy of the left/right media paradigm, and has exposed that they are all corrupt. Not only that, but Clint Eastwood’s speech overshadowed Mitt Romney’s highly edited, polished and robotic speech which was very vague and didn’t specify how to actually fix the economy or return lost liberties to the nation.

It’s very telling of what the republican establishment is doing, when they’d rather have an old man talk to a chair in front of the crowd, than allow another old man to talk about the future of the party and how to restore liberties. I liked the things that Clint said as much as the things Ron say’s, but I’ll stick with Ron on not endorsing Romney.

In a time when information is available everywhere, ignorance is a choice.

I would encourage you to learn about the candidates, what they stand for, and to look at what the power structure is doing in each party.

The republicans are already showing their true colors again. They did nothing good for the country during the Bush administration, and now that they are close to having full power of the house, senate and presidency, they are showing once again what fumbling fools they are. They are simply a milder version of the democrats. Think of Bud light and Budweiser, there’s not much difference in the two of them.

Many people who are over sixty years old believe that anyone but Obama will be good for the country, but they cannot support their arguments with facts, only rhetoric, and memories from the good old days of Eisenhower and Reagan. On the opposite end of the spectrum you have the people who are under forty, almost all of whom support Ron Paul, and are beginning to understand that both parties are deeply flawed and do not follow the constitution.

The liberals were infiltrated by statist ideas a long time ago, and it has become very obvious. The infiltration of the right is less obvious, but it has happened.

The Overton window is a political theory that describes as a narrow “window” the range of ideas that the public will respond to as acceptable, and that the political viability of an idea is primarily defined by this rather than individual preferences of a given politician. It is named after its originator, Joseph P. Overton, former vice president of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. At any given moment, the “window” includes a range of policies considered to be politically acceptable in the current climate of public opinion, which a politician can recommend without being considered too “extreme” or outside the mainstream to gain or keep public office.

So how do we escape the perpetual downward trend of statism? The first thing to do is to recognize the problem. This chart will help you figure out where you stand on liberties and freedoms:

Take the quiz and see where you rank!

Libertarians offer an alternative answer to our current problems. You might even be a libertarian yourself.

There is only one escape option left for the nation right now, and that is a 3rd party candidacy. Ron Paul was our last chance to steer the republican party from within.

FROM DR RON PAUL

8.27.12

As we enter the fall political season, we will hear a great deal of rhetoric from both major political parties and their many candidates for office. It’s important for us to remember, however, that words can be made meaningless by misuse or overuse. And when we as citizens allow politicians to obscure the truth by distorting words, we diminish ourselves and our nation.

For example, we’ve all heard politicians use the words “democracy” and “freedom” countless times. They are used interchangeably in modern political discourse, yet their true meanings are very different. They have become what George Orwell termed “meaningless words”. Words like “freedom,” “democracy,” and “justice,” Orwell explained, have been abused for so long that their original meanings have been eviscerated. In Orwell’s view, such words were “often used in a consciously dishonest way.” Without precise meanings behind words, politicians and elites can obscure reality and condition people to reflexively associate certain words with positive or negative perceptions. In other words, unpleasant facts can be hidden behind purposely meaningless language. As just one example, Americans have been conditioned to accept the word “democracy” as a synonym for freedom. Thus we are conditioned to believe that democracy is always and everywhere benevolent. The problem is that democracy is not freedom. Democracy is simply majoritarianism, which is inherently incompatible with freedom. While our Constitution certainly features certain democratic mechanisms, it also features inherently undemocratic mechanisms like the First Amendment and the Electoral College. America is a constitutional republic, not a democracy. Yet we’ve been bombarded with the meaningless word “democracy” for so long that few Americans understand the difference. If we intend to use the word freedom in an honest way, we should have the simple integrity to give it real meaning: Freedom is living without government coercion. So when a politician talks about freedom or liberty–regardless of the issue being discussed– ask yourself whether he is advocating more government force or less. The words “liberal” and “conservative” have also been abused. “Liberalism,” which once stood for civil, political, and economic liberties, has become a synonym for omnipotent coercive government. Liberalism has been redefined to mean liberation from material wants, always via a large and benevolent government that exists to create equality on earth. “Conservatism,” meanwhile, once meant respect for tradition and distrust of active government. But in recent decades conservatism has been redefined as support for big-government grandiosity via military adventurism, corporatism, and inflationary monetary policy. The modern political right has redefined conservatism into support for an all-powerful central state, provided that the state furthers supposedly conservative goals. Orwell certainly was right about the use of meaningless words in politics. Our task, therefore, is to reclaim our language and reclaim our liberties. If we hope to remain free, we must cut through the fog and attach concrete meanings to the words politicians use to deceive us.
I hope my posts are somewhat of a counsel to those who are rubbing their eyes in disbelief. I know its hard to give up ideas you’ve held for so long about certain people and certain parties, but the cause of liberty and freedom is worth the sacrifice. I’d rather be told a cold hard truth and learn to live with it, than to be told a comforting lie, only to have its bitterness slowly seep in over time and rot from the inside out.
Do not be discouraged, do not be upset, once you have learned what has happened to both sides of the two party system, you can begin to rebuild your ideas and share them with others. There are many good intellectual libertarian websites out there where you can learn more, and do your part to return liberty and free market concepts to this once free nation.
The time for a third party has come. The time to restore liberties is now. We must restore this nation. Give me liberty or give me death!

Mitt Romney

I keep hearing people talk about Obama, and how we must elect Mitt Romney to beat him. But how much do you really know about the republican candidate?

Strange But True: Mitt Romney Spent The Vietnam War In A French Palace

I thought that once Ron Paul was rejected by the establishment GOP, that I would go silently into the night and let everyone have their say and their vote between ‘the lesser of two evils’ without debating why I don’t like either of them. I thought that I would keep the peace and let bygones be bygones. But the way the RNC treated Ron Paul and his delegates was a disgrace to democracy and to the representation of the nation.

Death Of Democracy: GOP Party Bosses Seize Complete Control Of Selecting Candidates

This path of the lesser of two evils has done the very thing it was intended to; it brought about evil.

With bipartisan support, this new system of corruption has embedded itself on the American psyche, and we believe we are supposed to continue to play their silly games, while giving them unbridled power, and giving up our liberties.

Mitt Romney’s voting record is similar to Obama’s, and they agree on almost everything:

Mitt Romney is supposed to have been an entrepreneur and a job creator, but his legacy shows that his firm is an asset stripping company which ships jobs over seas.

Mitt Romney dodged the draft, while encouraging others to fight instead. His company looted and pillaged other companies that provided good jobs for people. And now we move forward to his governorship; in which he massively increased the state debt, and hiked fees across the board. During his governorship Massachusetts dropped to 47th in the nation for job creation.

So the idea that Mitt Romney is somehow going to save us from Obama is completely mis-founded. If you think that the media is bias now; think about a future with ‘Clear Channel’, which is owned by ‘Bain Capital’ cheer-leading his presidency at every turn, even when he continues the same atrocities of the Bush/Obama administrations.

So I’m asking you to think outside the box, and take a good long hard look at the candidate that you’ll be voting for.

Remember, if you decide to vote for the lesser of two evils; that makes you evil too.

The modern conservative party has been infiltrated by the neo-cons and their only agenda is power. The display at the RNC should give you shivers. I thought Nancy Pelosi was bad, but when I watched John Boehner blatantly ignore the objections in the crowd, I knew that he was no better. He, like so many other of the republicans at the RNC talk the talk, but they do not walk the walk, and that is simply not good enough.

As a Life Long Republican, I Will Not Vote For Romney.

9/11 conspiracy theories

More money was spent on the Monica Lewinsky trial than on the deaths of over 3000 people from the 9/11 attacks.

I remember where I was the day that these attacks happened. I was still living in England at the time and was just getting out of school (remember the time difference). When I got to my mum’s car, she had a weird look on her face, and she looked scared. “what’s wrong?” I asked. “America is under attack” was her reply. We listened to the radio the whole way home, and I was trying to picture what was happening in my mind. When we got home we turned on the news and witnessed the horrific events unfold before our eyes. I was only 13 years old at the time, and for years I believed that it was Al Qaeda, and I supported (even thought I was only a teenager) the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. Now that I am in my mid twenties, I no longer support any kind of foreign intervention, and I believe there was a lot more to the 9/11 attacks than meets the eye.

I’ve written about 9/11 before, but upon researching more articles and documentaries, I’ve come across more information on the deadly attacks.

The first one ‘the elephant in the room’ is from underground documentaries, and its from a British person’s point of view; as he goes to New York to investigate more about the aftermath of the event:

The second documentary is from Jesse Ventura, and deals more with what brought the towers down:

Please watch these videos in their entirety and watch the videos from my previous post, to get a well rounded look at all the evidence from that fateful day.

The media has tried to cover up the actions and spin them from a certain point of view. They even ran propaganda to start wars; with the excuse of the 9/11 attacks as justification to invade foreign countries. This makes the 9/11 attacks look more like an inside job and equates to a false flag event to start wars. Look at how vicious Bill O’Reilly is with a victim of the 9/11 attacks when he goes against the wars that the media is supporting:

Now I’m not interested in starting any arguments or spreading conspiracy theories, but there is an enormous amount of evidence which points to suspicious activities surrounding the event. I’m only interested in finding out the truth, so that the families of the dead can move on. And so that the wars that have been started because of these events can end.

Please spread the videos around and do your own research. It has become completely apparent that the mainstream media will not cover any stories that go against the status quo, so it is essential that we inform ourselves and make up our own minds.

Julian Assange speaks out

Julian Assange is something of an enigma. To be honest, I don’t know a lot about him. I still don’t pay much attention to the mainstream news, and I don’t like conspiracy theories. So I mildly pay attention and try to figure out the real story from a distance. Today Julian spoke out from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. I found much of what he said to be intriguing and inspiring.

LONDON (Reuters) – WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange used the balcony of the Ecuadorean embassy on Sunday to berate the United States for threatening freedom of expression and called on President Barack Obama to end what he called a witch-hunt against his whistle-blowing website.

Speaking from within the London mission to avoid arrest by British police who want to extradite him to Sweden for questioning over rape allegations, Assange said the United States was fighting a war against outlets like WikiLeaks.

Pitching himself alongside Russian punk band Pussy Riot and the New York Times newspaper, Assange said the United States risked shunting the world into an era of journalistic oppression. He did not address the rape allegations.

“As WikiLeaks stands under threat, so does the freedom of expression and the health of all of our societies,” Assange said, dressed in a maroon tie and blue shirt, flanked by the yellow, blue and red Ecuadorean flag.

“I ask President Obama to do the right thing: the United States much renounce its witch-hunt against WikiLeaks,” Assange said in a 10-minute speech which he ended with two thumbs up to the world’s media.

Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa, a self-declared enemy of “corrupt” media and U.S. “imperialism”, granted the former computer hacker political asylum last week, deepening a diplomatic standoff with Britain and Sweden.

Asylum in Ecuador marked the latest twist in a tumultuous journey for Assange since he incensed the United States and its allies by using his WikiLeaks website to leak hundreds of thousands of secret U.S. diplomatic and military cables in 2010, disclosures that often embarrassed Washington.

Assange, 41, took sanctuary in the embassy in June, jumping bail after exhausting appeals in British courts against extradition to Sweden, where he is wanted in Sweden for questioning regarding allegations of rape and sexual assault against two women.

He says he fears Sweden will eventually hand him over to the United States where, in his view, he would face persecution and long-term imprisonment. The United States says it is not involved in the matter.

‘FIGHTING SPIRIT’

To allow Assange to avoid arrest by stepping outside the embassy, a balcony door on an upper floor was removed, leading up to his first public appearance since seeking refuge in the diplomatic mission two months ago.

Speaking behind the condor of the Ecuadorean coat of arms on the white balcony railing of the embassy, Assange thanked Correa and Ecuador’s diplomats, whom he praised for standing up against oppression.

“The sun came up on a different world and a courageous Latin American nation took a stand for justice,” Assange, with cropped hair indicating a recent cut, said from the balcony.

Assange’s attempt to escape extradition has touched off a diplomatic tussle between Britain and Ecuador, which accused London of threatening to raid its embassy and casting the dispute as an arrogant European power treating a Latin American nation like a colony.

Assange, who praised a dozen Latin American countries which he said had rallied against Britain in the dispute, said the United States was at a turning point which could drag the rest of the world into a new oppressive era.

He said U.S. army intelligence analyst Bradley Manning, accused of the largest leak of classified documents in U.S. history to WikiLeaks, was a hero who should be released by the United States.

Manning faces life in prison if convicted.

“If Bradley Manning did as he is accused, he is a hero and an example to all of us and one of the world’s foremost political prisoners,” said Assange. “Bradley Manning must be released.”

‘FIGHTING SPIRIT’

More than 50 of Assange supporters, many of whom have slept on sheets of cardboard outside the building since Wednesday, decorated barriers with messages of support for Assange and placards reading “asylum – end the witch hunt”.

“They are not treating him fairly,” said Chantal, 28, a French pro-WikiLeaks blogger who had traveled overnight with a friend from near Paris in the hope of seeing Assange speak.

“Great Britain has shown it doesn’t respect human rights – political asylum is a right which should be respected by all countries,” she said. She refused to give her surname.

There was also a large crowd of curious passersby and bemused shoppers with bags from the nearby ritzy Harrods store watching the proceedings from across the street.

“Julian Assange is in fighting spirit,” Baltasar Garzon, a Spanish jurist and prominent human rights investigator who heads Assange’s legal team, told reporters outside the embassy.

“He is thankful to the people of Ecuador and to President Correa for granting him asylum,” said Garzon.

Britain says the dispute is about its legal obligations and that Assange should be extradited to Sweden. But Assange says he fears he will eventually be sent to the United States although Washington has so far kept its distance from the dispute.

(Writing by Guy Faulconbridge; Additional reporting by Alessandra Prentice in London and Morag MacKinnon in Sydney; Editing by Mark Heinrich and Giles Elgood)

The case of Bradly Manning is a difficult one. During a time when the country is under the influence of criminals throughout the political spectrum. At what point do we call him a traitor for exposing his country’s secrets? Or a patriot for doing the very same thing?

I think the most important thing Julian said during this article is “As WikiLeaks stands under threat, so does the freedom of expression and the health of all of our societies” and that ‘the United States was at a turning point which could drag the rest of the world into a new oppressive era.’

I find it terrifying that the country which fought off fascism, is now poised to take over Nazi Germany as the most oppressive country in human history. We now start wars based on ‘potential threats’. These wars are started off false information and pandering by the media. The true reasons are kept secret, and there are war profiteers who make substantial gains behind the scenes, while many innocent people die in the bloodshed. We now have the largest prison population in human history, and there are ever growing accounts of police brutality, while our freedoms are surrendered at the stroke of a pen.

I know that exposing military secrets is tantamount to treason, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend acting in this way. I know that wiki-leaks isn’t necessarily a good website because of these reasons. But the pursuance of Assange and the treatment of Manning is very telling in how close they got to the mark; on how our countries are currently functioning behind the scenes. There is much criminality to be spread around, and our governments are not acting within the scope that they were intended to.

I do not believe Assange is guilty of the sexual assault allegations, I believe these are trumped up charges to get him locked up or shut up. What he and Manning did is expose the beast for what it is. Whether what they did is right or not, that is for you to decide. Because the actions that our governments take will affect you.

Where we draw the line in cases like this is the difficult part, because it is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong.

How far would you be willing to go to expose the truth or protect people who speak out? There is a difference between blind nationalism and true patriotism.

Think about it.

“Laws control the lesser man… Right conduct controls the greater one.” – Mark Twain

All in the family; a tale of blood lines

I try my hardest not to get caught up in conspiracy theories, but rather to sift through fact and fiction, in order to find out the real truth.

Every once in a while I come across a story which absolutely intrigues me, and I can’t help but sit back and read or watch it.

This one is about blood lines of Royal and prominent families throughout the western world, which can be traced back to the time of the Egyptians.

For Instance, did you know that:

LONDON—The truth is out: Prince Charles is related to Vlad the Impaler.

The heir to the British throne says he is related to Vlad the Impaler, the cruel 15th-Century Romanian warlord who helped inspire Bram Stoker’s 1897 vampire novel “Dracula.”

He makes the comments on an upcoming TV show to promote his interest in protecting the forests of Romania’s Transylvania region.

Charles says genealogy shows that he is related to Vlad, giving him a stake in the future of Romania. Charles’s great-grandmother, Queen Mary, is a distant relative of the notorious nobleman, whose victims are reportedly numbered in the tens of thousands.

The Prince of Wales has long worked to conserve the forests and has bought a five-bedroom home in the region.

On a visit to Romania earlier this year, he called Transylvania a national treasure because of its unspoiled landscape and centuries-old rural farming traditions.

“It seems to me in Transylvania there is a combination of the natural ecosystem with a human cultural system,” the prince said in the documentary, according to the Daily Telegraph.

“’This extraordinarily unique integrated relationship is so hugely important. People are yearning for that sense of belonging and identity and meaning.”

There are stories of Illuminati dynasties running back hundreds of years, and have family members who still have much power today.

You don’t necessarily have to believe it, but the logic is sound, and these people have traced families back many hundreds of years.

Take a look for yourself, and let me know what you think:

There are many powerful and influential groups in the world. Is it possible that a faction of these bloodlines are purposely steering the world in the direction they desire?

Are these groups fact or fiction? Or perhaps more likely, a mixture of both?

You can decide for yourself. Personally, I find it intriguing.

Check mate! Russia sends nukes to Cuba

Since writing this over two years ago, I have learned a lot about foreign policy. It seems that Russian propaganda has been spread far and wide throughout our own media. The US is not the aggressor I was regrettably led to believe. Indeed, in the last few months, the actions from the Russians have proven that they are indeed the aggressors, particularly after annexing the Crimea. When the US and Ally’s invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, they did not colonize or annex them. Russian aggression and propaganda needs to be watched carefully over the coming weeks and months, particularly with the tumble of the ruble. – Paul Townsend 12/18/14

I recently posted about a WWIII scenario, and of the future of warfare. How ironic, that a few minutes ago, I found multiple articles telling the story of how Russia has just sent nuclear weapons to Cuba. It sounds like something out of 1962.

Bringing the troops home, and engaging in peace talks would be far better for our relationships with other countries, than a build up of arms in the world.

After the end of the cold war, Russia began to withdraw its troops from its satellite countries, and relative peace was found around the world.

Since 9/11, the US has been on a murderous rampage across the middle east, and has created a missile defense shield in Europe.

In response to this, and to the volatility of our markets, our ignorance of debt, and our continuing violence in the middle-east. Russia has responded by deploying their troops to former soviet bases in strategic points on the globe.

President Vladimir Putin is quoted as saying:
“In 2001 I, as the President of the Russian Federation and the supreme commander, deemed it advantageous to withdraw the radio-electronic center Lourdes from Cuba. In exchange for this, George Bush, the then U.S. president, has assured me that this decision would become the final confirmation that the Cold War was over and both of our states, getting rid of the relics of the Cold War, will start building a new relationship based on cooperation and transparency. In particular, Bush has convinced me that the U.S. missile defense system will never be deployed in Eastern Europe.

The Russian Federation has fulfilled all terms of the agreement. And even more. I shut down not only the Cuban Lourdes but also Kamran in Vietnam. I shut them down because I gave my word of honor. I, like a man, has kept my word. What have the Americans done? The Americans are not responsible for their own words. It is no secret that in recent years, the U.S. created a buffer zone around Russia, involving in this process not only the countries of Central Europe, but also the Baltic states, Ukraine and the Caucasus. The only response to this could be an asymmetric expansion of the Russian military presence abroad, particularly in Cuba. In Cuba, there are convenient bays for our reconnaissance and warships, a network of the so-called “jump airfields.” With the full consent of the Cuban leadership, on May 11 of this year, our country has not only resumed work in the electronic center of Lourdes, but also placed the latest mobile strategic nuclear missiles “Oak” on the island. They did not want to do it the amicable way, now let them deal with this,” Putin said

This is a checkmate against the expansion of US forces in the world. To be honest, I cannot blame them for being cautious. Many people including myself, are highly suspicious of the current leaders in this country. Their actions toward our citizens, and nationals of other countries is extremely questionable.

I am praying that Ron Paul wins at the RNC later this month, and puts an end to the madness. Mitt Romney has already stated his intentions to bomb Iran, and called Russia ‘our number one geo-political foe’, this does not bode well for us. And we already know what four years of Obama has done for us.

The current issues of the day, go far beyond the elections, and even our freedoms, because as a superpower, our actions affect the entire world.

Stay informed!

The Revolution continues

The mainstream media claims that Mitt Romney has the GOP nomination, we are being told to pick between the lesser of two evils. Even the son of the greatest presidential candidate in history has flipped sides and decided to support the ‘presumptive nominee’ But the Revolution continues! You see, the Ron Paul Revolution is a philosophical one. It is the idea of self liberty and self determination. For much of the last one-hundred years the US population has been sidetracked into left vs right politicking, and has been left with the choice of ‘the lesser of two evils’.

I will not vote for Mitt Romney, I will not vote for him even with Rand Paul’s support. I will only vote for a man of principle, and that is Ron Paul. What is the point in voting for Obama-lite? Many of Obama’s policies and legislation are Romney inspired. Why would you go out and vote for another progressive? Why would you vote for a known flip-flopper? Why would you vote for another fraud, a snake in sheep’s clothing?

I’ve seen bumper stickers and comments that say that those who voted for Obama are idiots. Well, do you think that voting for McCain made you a saint? The John McCain who supported the bailouts, the wars of aggression in the middle east, and who co-wrote the NDAA act? Do you think that John McCain the progressive would have been much better than Obama the progressive?

All those on the left that say that those who voted for Bush (the counterfeit conservative) are idiots, do you really think that John Kerry would have been better, or Al Gore? Al Gore, the guy who sells the idea of Global Warming, and makes millions trading ‘carbon credits’.

Do you not see that the media steers you into choosing between ‘the lesser of two evils’ on a consistent basis?

When I went to the very first Tea Party in Cincinnati back in early 2009, I was impressed when a man made a speech about how he was tired of voting for ‘the lesser of two evils’. And now I see that the Tea Party, along with its supports such as Rand Paul and Glenn Beck, have abandoned their principles and are now supporting a progressive that is worse than George Bush!

Where are your principles?

Do you really think you’re going to make all that much difference when you throw your support behind a ‘chosen’ candidate who is firmly a part of the establishment? The same establishment that has given you all the rules and regulations, taxes, wars, and liberty stripping security that we now feel under the suffocating pillow of bloated government.

So I ask you, will you vote for another establishment candidate, or will you spread the word of Ron Paul? The word of liberty and the constitution. Or will you become another tool in the New World Order’s toolbox of useful idiots? Blindly believing that if you support their ‘chosen’ candidate, that you are somehow aiding the cause of freedom?

Don’t get swept up into the crowd, stand as an individual for liberty and spread the ideas of the consititution and of self worth. Don’t go along with the ‘mainstream’.

We still have time, and Ron Paul may well sweep the floor at the GOP convention in August in a similar way to how Ronald Reagan did in 1980. Soon the GOP and the democrats will realize that currently; neither have the young vote and that Ron Paul does. We want to live in a free and prosperous society, and we do not like the debt and burdens of slavery currently being handed to us.

The Ron Paul Revolution of liberty and restoring this country continues!

“An idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or any government!” – Ron Paul

The Zionists are everywhere

Since writing this I have learned of other groups which are at play. I wrote this during the ‘Ron Paul Revolution’ and the Libertarian phase I was going through. Since then President Obama and his Communist sympathizers have done much to pacify our nation. Russian aggression against its neighbors, the annexation of the Crimea, and the rise of ISIS in the Middle East, have a great cause for concern. Question everything with boldness. – Paul Townsend 12/18/14

We have been told by many of those on the right that it is the Muslim radicals that we should fear. And yet, it is the Zionists who are in control of our nation.

Make no mistake about it, the Zionists rule this country:

High Ranking members of our government are Zionists:

Rahm Emanuel:

Henry Kissinger:

Joe Biden:

Even our preselected leaders are all Zionists:

Bill Clinton:

George Bush:

President Obama:

Our candidates for president:

Newt Gingrich

Mitt Romney:

John McCain:

Every aspect of American life is currently dominated by the Zionists. They control the banks, the politicians, Hollywood and the media. We are led to believe that Israel is a source of good in the world, and that anyone who opposes the state is evil. We are encouraged to fight amongst ourselves for ‘democrats’ or ‘republicans’, even though they are two faces on the same head. All our current ‘issues’ are simply daily distractions to keep us too busy arguing instead of finding out the truth.

Every time someone tries to exploit the Zionists, they are ridiculed by the Zionist controlled media and labeled an ‘anti Semite’:

Even Glenn Beck is a Zionist, which would explain why he is so protective of Israel and why he consistently discredits Ron Paul, even though he has all the perfect credentials to become a constitutional president.

This video shows exactly how the Israeli Zionists hate Ron Paul:

After all; how could they ever allow such a patriotic American to hold the office of the president when they are so close to WWIII and world domination?
