President Trump and the Art of War

The airstrikes in Syria were strategically brilliant. Yet this has baffled many, namely the more libertarian minded among us.

There are now rumors going around about the US invading Syria or the US getting into WWIII with Russia. Libertarians are losing their minds that President Trump is getting involved in another country and the liberals are losing their minds that he doesn’t want refugees to come into the country, yet gets upset about gas attacks.

There has been an awful lot of alarm and negativity thrown against the president over the last few weeks. I say weeks, because he has only been president for a few weeks. At first it really bothered me how negative the media was towards him, especially on inauguration day. He wasn’t even allowed a grace period, or a honeymoon period as you might call it. But now its starting to become somewhat amusing.

While the rest of the world, or at least America and Europe are playing checkers, President Trump is playing 3D chess.

By launching a missile strike while the Chinese President was visiting, he forced the Chinese to take him seriously and disabled their ability to heavily criticize him.

The missile strike forced not only Bashar Al Assad to take him seriously, it put Iran and North Korea on notice also.

The strike also put Russia on notice that it can no longer completely have its own way in the Middle-East anymore. It also completely blows the conspiracy theories about him being elected by the Russians completely out of the water.

In one fell swoop President Trump has blown up the liberal conspiracy theories, which were the strongest argument (if you can even call it that) that they had left.

It also completely overshadows the rise of Justice Gorsuch, which was another (and perhaps only) piece of ammunition the Democrats had left in their arsenal to rail against President Trump.

All the arguments against Gorsuch during his rise are now overshadowed by an airstrike which will now be speculated about for the next few weeks.

In the mean time Secretary of State Tillerson will be in Russia to talk to his counterparts. Instead of the Liberal media spinning it as him cozying up to his mates. They will be reporting about a possible coming conflict. In reality all it does it force Russia to take the US more seriously and allow better deals to come about.

As for the refugee crisis and the non intervention comments President Trump made back in 2013, you have to look at the current situation. You have to deal with the cards you’re given.

A lot of liberals and libertarians are upset. Their argument is that images of children dying is enough to provoke a missile strike, but women and children fleeing to the US is not allowed is somehow hypocritical.

Let’s break it down simply. Statistically the vast majority of refugees are military age men, not women and children. Even if they were, it is still not a good idea to allow thousands of refugees all the way to America when there are neighboring countries perfectly capable of helping out while also containing the radical jihadists.

The US is already tangled up in the Syrian mess. President Obama and his administration got the US into the mess to begin with.

President Trump was genuinely upset by the murder of innocent civilians and the use of chemicals is crossing the now infamous red lines set in place by President Obama. A strike on an airfield sends a powerful message to the world that the US is not to be messed around with anymore and that that kind of warfare is not to be tolerated.

For better or worse the US is the worlds foremost superpower. Part of making America great again and ensuring free trade and peace is by asserting American dominance. That is not something the libertarians like to see, but that is dealing with the cards you’re dealt.

President Trump is playing the cards he has been dealt in the best way he can. What he is doing on all fronts is playing the Art of War and showing that the US is still a power player on the world stage. That is a great thing for America and for the World.

The beating drums of war

The drums of war are beating to a fever pitch and all hell is about to break loose. I have been reporting my findings for months now, and it seems the time is about to come. Unless enough people wake up and say “no! ” War is a racket, but it seems that we are intent on throwing more young men onto the bayonets of others, so that a select few can benefit.

Why would we allow our current leaders to throw us into such a deadly fight? From the left you have Hillary Clinton who admits that the US created Al-Qaeda, and from the right you have Mitt Romney who talks of letting off dirty bombs in Chicago.

We have a large naval exercise going on in the gulf right now while our president meets with the Israeli prime minister, while his army performs a snap military exercise in the Golan heights.

And we now have a senior Chinese general ordering its military to prepare for war with Japan.

This all the while our economy and currency is collapsing.

Our economy is losing more and more freedom, while we have more and more military buildup at home. The department of homeland security continues to order more and more rounds of ammunition.

If Israel attacks Iran, it will retaliate and shut down the Straight of Hormuz, which would make the price of oil skyrocket, and make gasoline in the US go up to around $10 a gallon on average. Our stock market will crash, and there will be civil unrest at home.

A worse case scenario (barring all out nuclear war) would be if the Chinese attack the Japanese, and decide to take out all our military bases in and around Asia, since we would need to back up the Japanese militarily.

If Iran is provoked into war, there is a high probability of them being able to take out all of our bases in the middle east. Especially with their Russian missile batteries.

Russia could attack multiple European bases if it felt threatened, and by this point, we would have no more show of force in the world. Almost all of our overseas bases would be wiped out, and since our military is so stretched out across the globe, it would take years for us to recover.

All this would come after a complete economic collapse which would include all the major countries dumping the US dollar.

Between the currency collapse and the decimation of our military, this country would be left dead in the water.

The scary part is, that there are rumors today of a dollar dumping, and the military exercises currently going on could well be a prelude to all out attacks.

All this coupled with cyber attacks and mis-information from the media can lead up to only one thing; the beating drums of war will get what they want, and all out carnage will ensue.

I pray that we do not allow this to happen. Tell your friends, tell your neighbors, do your own research. Lets see if we can’t use the power of the internet to stop this madness in its tracks!

The Drum
“Mr. Scott”
[John Scott][1]
The Cambridge Intelligencer (August 3, 1793)[2]

I hate that drum’s discordant sound,
Parading round, and round, and round:
To thoughtless youth it pleasure yields,
And lures from cities and from fields,
To sell their liberty for charms
Of tawdry lace and glitt’ring arms;
And when Ambition’s voice commands,
To fight and fall in foreign lands.

I hate that drum’s discordant sound,
Parading round, and round, and round:
To me it talks of ravaged plains,
And burning towns and ruin’d swains,
And mangled limbs, and dying groans,
And widow’s tears, and orphans moans,
And all that Misery’s hand bestows,
To fill a catalogue of woes.

World War III looms

It appears that World War III is fast approaching.

I’ve already written about how a WWIII scenario might play out.

There are many reasons why WWIII may be imminent; including tensions throughout the world, and multiple countries constant saber rattling.

We now have tensions between Japan and China over an island dispute. There is now a real threat of conflict between these two nations. Our own defense secretary has said that a threat of war now exists.

There are reports of food shortages and oil shortages throughout the globe.

Our countries freedoms have been stripped away through bills such as the patriot act and NDAA, and the country is split and divided.

We are seeing massive blowback in the middle east from our failed foreign policies. Which is little wonder when so many innocent people are being killed on a daily basis.

There are uprisings all over the middle east, and Syria is currently in turmoil.

The dollar is on the decline, and our government on both sides of the isle show no signs of slowing down the rate of debt.

There is a huge buildup of forces in the gulf, tensions continue to grow, and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netenyahu is hell bent on starting a war with Iran.

When you look at all the facts, from the imminent collapse of the dollar, the wars in the middle east and the internal rift at home, there are only two options left to move forward from. We can either completely withdraw our forces from the middle east and fix our policies at home, or we can commit to a full scale war in the middle east, which could lead to a global war; a war which even if nuclear missiles are not used, we might not win.

The Russians have  a new missile that would wreak havoc on our ships and decimate our naval strength if used against us in the middle east. Iran owns thousands of these missiles, and is prepared to use them in retaliation against us if we attack them.

But why would we want to attack this peaceful country? Iran has not initiated a war in over 200 years. Why do we see the need to bomb them? Especially when there are no proven nuclear weapons there.

Isn’t Israel more of a threat to peace in the middle east? After all, they are the only Middle-Eastern country which possess nuclear weapons, and they routinely threaten their neighbors.

Should we go along with Benjamin Netanyahu’s demands and attack Iran? This same man who has for years threatened that Iran was only years/months away from a bomb, without ever having proof. And was quoted in 2002 as saying; “Once we squeeze all we can out of the United States, it can dry up and blow away.”

Why do we listen to Israel in the first place? All of these Muslim Brotherhood uprisings are caused from our interference in foreign countries affairs.

The claim that the Muslims hate Christians is completely unfounded. If it were true, then why doesn’t Al-Qaeda attack other christian nations? Why have they never attacked a country in South America; which is almost all Catholic?

Why does Israel always get positive coverage in the media, while we are led to believe all Muslims are evil? Is it because as Ariel Sharon once said “we, the Jewish people control America, and the Americans know it”?

I believe that the extremist Zionists are far more of a threat to this world than the Muslim extremists. From what I have researched and found out, the Muslims only want to be left alone in peace, whereas the Zionists appear to crave world domination.

This country is entering a debt spiral and the best candidate to go up against our ‘Muslim Marxist’ president is an Israeli sponsored vulture capitalist with an abysmal record on governing and job creation, and doesn’t appear to be much different. The two parties act like gangs, and are more interested in bashing each other than getting anything done. Each party also seems to whitewash its own principles.

How much hope do we have left when supposed independents such as Glenn Beck tear down constitutional candidates such as Ron Paul and Gary Johnson, while backing up war mongers such as Rick Santorum and draft dodging Mitt Romney?

This country and indeed the world, has never faced so many difference crisis in such a small amount of time before, and it appears that all most people can do is either sit back and ignore it, or call for blood.

The only way to get out of this mess and to avoid a war is to have the courage to stand up as individuals and speak out, to research the subjects which frighten us, to question boldly, to disagree with the status quo, and to share our findings.

I agree with Mike Rivero:

“The battle for the renewal of freedom in this country will not be won with battering rams, bullhorns, and bullets, but will be won to the sound of keyboards, the with bloggers and observers making logical, intelligent, peaceful assessments as to what is happening, and how things can be changed without firing a single shot.”

We must forge a new path if we are to avoid this catastrophe, we can no longer accept the solutions of the past.

The freedom of mankind is won through acts of individual heroism and wisdom. We must stand up for principles not only to save this country, but to become a beacon of hope for the world.

Isn’t it time we advanced ourselves past these stupid wars and look toward the stars once more? Or should we just ‘nuke’ other countries into oblivion and all die a horrible death?

I suppose the biggest and most important question right now is; what are you doing to safegaurd the future of your country, your freedom, and of the world? Are you prepared to do what is necessary to protect our home and humanity?

Check mate! Russia sends nukes to Cuba

Since writing this over two years ago, I have learned a lot about foreign policy. It seems that Russian propaganda has been spread far and wide throughout our own media. The US is not the aggressor I was regrettably led to believe. Indeed, in the last few months, the actions from the Russians have proven that they are indeed the aggressors, particularly after annexing the Crimea. When the US and Ally’s invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, they did not colonize or annex them. Russian aggression and propaganda needs to be watched carefully over the coming weeks and months, particularly with the tumble of the ruble. – Paul Townsend 12/18/14

I recently posted about a WWIII scenario, and of the future of warfare. How ironic, that a few minutes ago, I found multiple articles telling the story of how Russia has just sent nuclear weapons to Cuba. It sounds like something out of 1962.

Bringing the troops home, and engaging in peace talks would be far better for our relationships with other countries, than a build up of arms in the world.

After the end of the cold war, Russia began to withdraw its troops from its satellite countries, and relative peace was found around the world.

Since 9/11, the US has been on a murderous rampage across the middle east, and has created a missile defense shield in Europe.

In response to this, and to the volatility of our markets, our ignorance of debt, and our continuing violence in the middle-east. Russia has responded by deploying their troops to former soviet bases in strategic points on the globe.

President Vladimir Putin is quoted as saying:
“In 2001 I, as the President of the Russian Federation and the supreme commander, deemed it advantageous to withdraw the radio-electronic center Lourdes from Cuba. In exchange for this, George Bush, the then U.S. president, has assured me that this decision would become the final confirmation that the Cold War was over and both of our states, getting rid of the relics of the Cold War, will start building a new relationship based on cooperation and transparency. In particular, Bush has convinced me that the U.S. missile defense system will never be deployed in Eastern Europe.

The Russian Federation has fulfilled all terms of the agreement. And even more. I shut down not only the Cuban Lourdes but also Kamran in Vietnam. I shut them down because I gave my word of honor. I, like a man, has kept my word. What have the Americans done? The Americans are not responsible for their own words. It is no secret that in recent years, the U.S. created a buffer zone around Russia, involving in this process not only the countries of Central Europe, but also the Baltic states, Ukraine and the Caucasus. The only response to this could be an asymmetric expansion of the Russian military presence abroad, particularly in Cuba. In Cuba, there are convenient bays for our reconnaissance and warships, a network of the so-called “jump airfields.” With the full consent of the Cuban leadership, on May 11 of this year, our country has not only resumed work in the electronic center of Lourdes, but also placed the latest mobile strategic nuclear missiles “Oak” on the island. They did not want to do it the amicable way, now let them deal with this,” Putin said

This is a checkmate against the expansion of US forces in the world. To be honest, I cannot blame them for being cautious. Many people including myself, are highly suspicious of the current leaders in this country. Their actions toward our citizens, and nationals of other countries is extremely questionable.

I am praying that Ron Paul wins at the RNC later this month, and puts an end to the madness. Mitt Romney has already stated his intentions to bomb Iran, and called Russia ‘our number one geo-political foe’, this does not bode well for us. And we already know what four years of Obama has done for us.

The current issues of the day, go far beyond the elections, and even our freedoms, because as a superpower, our actions affect the entire world.

Stay informed!

The future of war and peace

The United States currently has the strongest air force in the world. It maintains its superpower status by maintaining its fleet.

Before the US gained air superiority. Britain had the stongest Navy in the world, and its fleet of battleships ruled the seas, maintaining Britain’s supremacy as the worlds formost superpower.

But nation’s do not stay powerful for long. Not when they have become collectivist at heart, and loot their general populace.

The United States, while having the strongest millitary, also has the largest spending. The US spends more on defence, than the next fifteen countries combined!

If standing armies were the badge of a superpower before navies, and airforces are the current standard. Wouldn’t you suppose that the next step would be the domination of space?

We currently have hundreds of satilites revolving around the earth. Many of these are capable of capturing images from countries the world over, and reporting back the going’s on, in great detail.

The next step in superiority is space, not in an airforce, which requries a great deal of fuel to keep going.

The deal we currently have with China is dangerous. We do ship our jobs over seas. But it is worse than that. Our fine young minds are unable to expand their thoughts and ideas due to heavy government regulations and red tape.

The country that once embraced and produced new technologies, now ships them over seas at the blink of and eye.

There are vultures throughout government, who are more interested in making a quick buck, and looting the general populace, than of streamlining the inventing and producing process through simpler laws and regulations.

This nation’s wealth is tied to its inventors and producers. It’s debt and hardships are tied to its vultures in government and corrupt corporations in bed with these parasites.

A nation cannot sustain a war effort without an economy to produce its arms, and keep its armies supplied.

This nation’s economy is crumbling, and thus, our war capacity is failing. The traitors in government are selling this country down the river with every new peice of strangling legislation and tax increase, and every new expansion of war funding and sanction signing. To create more wars when we have a failing economy, is not only immoral, but dangerous to our very way of life.

The future of warfare lies in new technology, and can only be produced by the great minds of the world. The inventors and producers must be allowed to thrive within our borders, or else they will go elsewhere or simply shrug and not produce.

Our real defense of this nation lies within the individual, with his ability to defend himself, his family, and his neighbors with his shotgun and pistol, and assault rifle if necessary. It is not up to the traitors who want to ban guns and ammo, and leave the country open to invasion.

We have traitors in our midst, who would leave us naked and exposed to rouge regimes of the world. Those who wish us to give up our guns, wish us to not only give up our liberties and safeguards for freedom and way of life, but to leave us exposed to the rouge elements of our own society, and to the pariah regimes of the world.

Our armies are stretched thin throughout the world. The war mongers are beating the drums for more wars. Our debt is spiraling out of control, and the traitors are asking us to give up our last line of defense.

The future of war, and of peace, lies at home with the individual. And if attacked, those individuals can rise up and defend their nation.

There is a movie from 1955 ‘the dam busters‘, that depicts Barnes Wallis who invented ‘the bouncing bomb‘ that took out two huge damns on the Ruhr in Germany, slashing their capacity to make steel by two thirds. This wreaked more havoc on the German war machine, than the entire air force could on a string of factories.

Wars are won by individuals. Not only their leaders in their armies, but by the  inventors who create new technologies, or simply refine old ones, to suit the new problems in war.

Watch the skies, and keep an eye on China, they have amassed wealth at our disposal, and we have allowed the traitors in this country to let it happen.

We need to reduce the deficit, bring the troops home to slash the defense bill, and concentrate on rebuilding ourselves from within.

The future of war and of peace lies in our hands, and ours alone.

A World War III Scenario

Since writing this two years ago, Russian aggression and the annexation of the Crimea, coupled with the rise of ISIS, has changed things dramatically. It is no longer simply a concern of US forces being stationed throughout the world, but actual hostile aggression from other nations. The dogma against the US, for being evil, is being worn away by truthful conservatives such as Dinesh D’souza. And there is an even bigger problem at home with the weak kneed leadership of President Barack Obama.  – Paul Townsend 12/18/14

There is a build up of arms in the middle east, and the wars being carried out by the US and its allies seem to be endless. In order to safeguard themselves, Syria and Iran have a mutual defense pact.

China has vested interests in Iran, and has signed a deal to develop Iranian oil fields.

A Russian company has just signed a deal to develop oil in Kurdish self-ruled Northern Iraq.

There are Russian warships docked off the coast of Syria, and China has just sent a destroyer up the Suez Canal.

The following is merely speculation, but could become reality in the near future.

Here is a map of US forces in the world:

This is what I think might happen in a World War III senario, with the US and Nato vs Russia and China backing Syria and Iran.

The US forces and allied countries are shaded in blue, with Syria and Iran shaded in red:

If Syria is attacked, Iran has a mutual defense pact, and will come to its aid. An Iranian and Syrian counter offensive might look something like this:

Syria may attack along the Turkish border, against Israel, and along the Iraq border against US forces. While Iran may attack into Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, taking out its many oil fields, and shutting down the straight of Hormuz.

If China and Russia get involved, it might look something like this:

Russia could drop down from the north and support Iran against Iraq and Afghanistan , while attacking Turkey. China could enter the conflict from the east and enter through Afghanistan. Both Russia and China could use their Navy’s to attack from the Arabian sea and Mediterranean sea. For good measure they could mine the straight of Hormuz, the gulf of Aden, the Suez canal, and even the straight of Gibraltar. Not only cutting off half the world’s oil supply from the middle east, but also blocking in any NATO ships in the Mediterranean.

Now that was purely speculation. But here are some more facts:

The US produces 9 million barrels of oil per day, while Russia produces 10 million barrels per day. China produces 4 million but consumes 9 million. The problem the US has, is that while Russia only consumes 2.7 million barrels, with 3/4 of its production spare to sell. The US uses a staggering 18 million barrels a day, far out pacing its closest consumer; China, and using twice as much at is produces.

For some facts and figures on oil production, usage and firepower from all the worlds leading countries. Go to www.globalfirepower.com where you can even compare countries head to head.

For instance, here is how the US compares to Russia:

To bring some more realization to this, today Russia has reported US troops mounting alongside Turkish troops along the Syrian border. And Iran has warned Turkey not to invade Syria.

This is getting very serious.

Remember that China holds much of our current debt, and could cripple our economy without even firing a shot. I may be speculating on how an invasion, or counter attack might take place, but the facts are out there. The US and allies are building troops, and so are Russia and China.

Attacking Iran and Syria may be the United States biggest mistake in history. I am praying that we do not start such a foolish conquest.

Many believe that the US is invincible, and while currently powerful, the nation is crumbling at its core. Wars are expensive, and debt piles up. The USA was founded upon freedom, and yet there are many in government now who advocate an end to it through totalitarian pieces of legislation.

Real national defense comes from within, that is why the second amendment is so important in the US constitution. These needless conquests in the middle east need to stop,  as it may well help bring about the complete destruction of this country.

My reasoning for making this posting is to illustrate the danger to all the war mongers out there, and to those who are cheer leading for more conflict in a world already suffering from too many wars of aggression. Sure, there are elements of danger in the world toward us, but there has always been terrorists.

My concern is for the young men and women stationed out in the middle east right now, and for their families, as they are about to be asked once again to risk their lives and die for their county’s needless conquests, instead of returning home and actually protecting our freedoms.

Like I’ve said before, over the last decade, while our troops have been away, we have lost more freedoms at home, than in any time in our history.

Even without the use of nuclear weapons, a third world war, even if contained only to the middle east, would be catastrophic, and I urge everyone who reads this, to ask your senators and congressmen, to vote against any more sanctions, and to pressure the presidential candidates and leaders to avoid more bloodshed.

We have better means to gather more oil, and indeed an economy built on new jobs at home for oil production, is far better than death and destruction abroad to loot it from other nations.

Tell the world of Paschendale

Iron Maiden is a very well known heavy metal band from the 1980’s. Aside from the fact they are still playing, and at this minute on tour, they continue to put out very intriguing and passion filled songs.

One of my favorite songs is ‘Paschendale’. Which recalls one of the bloodiest battles from the ‘Great War’.

Britain lost 1/10 of its entire population during the first world war. An entire generation was wiped out. And for what? None of the European countries gained anything substantial from the bloodbath.

Please listen to the song and read the lyrics, it is a haunting message, that bares not only truth from the brutal conflict, but a warning to future generations.

In a foreign field he lay
Lonely soldier, unknown grave
On his dying words he prays
Tell the world of Paschendale

Relive all that he’s been through
Last communion of his soul
Rust your bullets with his tears
Let me tell you ’bout his years

Laying low in a blood filled trench
Kill time ’til my very own death
On my face I can feel the falling rain
Never see my friends again

In the smoke, in the mud and lead
Smell the fear and the feeling of dread
Soon be time to go over the wall
Rapid fire and end of us all

Whistles, shouts and more gun fire
Lifeless bodies hang on barbed wire
Battlefield nothing but a bloody tomb
Be reunited with my dead friends soon

Many soldiers eighteen years
Drown in mud, no more tears
Surely a war no-one can win
Killing time about to begin

Home, far away
From the war, a chance to live again
Home, far away
But the war, no chance to live again

The bodies of ours and our foes
The sea of death it overflows
In no man’s land, God only knows
Into jaws of death we go

Crucified as if on a cross
Allied troops they mourn their loss
German war propaganda machine
Such before has never been seen

Swear I heard the angels cry
Pray to god no more may die
So that people know the truth
Tell the tale of Paschendale

Cruelty has a human heart
Every man does play his part
Terror of the men we kill
The human heart is hungry still

I stand my ground for the very last time
Gun is ready as I stand in line
Nervous wait for the whistle to blow
Rush of blood and over we go

Blood is falling like the rain
Its crimson cloak unveils again
The sound of guns can’t hide their shame
And so we die on Paschendale

Dodging shrapnel and barbed wire
Running straight at cannon fire
Running blind as I hold my breath
Say a prayer symphony of death

As we charge the enemy lines
A burst of fire and we go down
I choke a cry but no-one hears
Feel the blood go down my throat

Home, far away
From the war, a chance to live again
Home, far away
But the war, no chance to live again

Home, far away
From the war, a chance to live again
Home, far away
But the war, no chance to live again

See my spirit on the wind
Across the lines, beyond the hill
Friend and foe will meet again
Those who died at Paschendale

War is a costly and bloody concept, and should be avoided. It is very hard, if not impossible for a country to take over another, with an armed populace. That is why the US could not win in Vietnam, and continues to fail in Afghanistan. That is why the Zulu defeated the British during the Zulu wars.

Our modern killing machines are capable of so much death and destruction. Why send our young men out to die in droves in fruitless wars? Surely the time tested idea of self defense is a better strategy than the continued failings of preemptive wars of aggression.

Please consider this when you think the idea of attacking Iran is a good one. Iran has no intention of harming us or Israel, unless provoked. Iran has not initiated a war in over two hundred years. Israel has a huge nuclear weapons stock pile, and Iran has none. Listen to the rhetoric on the mainstream media when they insinuate that Iran may be trying to build a nuclear bomb. Notice how they can’t actually prove anything, or even tell you that they are building one.

If we side with the current twisted leadership of Benjamin Netanhayu, and attack Iran, China and Russia may well get involved. This has the potential to start a third world war. And many lives will be lost. And for what?

Unless you are prepared to pick up your own arms and go off to war yourself, be careful about where you rattle your war saber. Cruelty does have a human heart, and every man does play his part. Your opinion matters. Are you prepared to back up your own words? I know I am.

This post is dedicated to all those who died during the brutal conflict of World War I, and a warning to those who call for more death and destruction in what should be a peaceful world after ‘the war to end all wars’.

WWIII, the greatest depression or liberty?

I must admit, I’m not feeling 100% today. Yesterday was a long day at work, and I’ve been reading reports on the escalating sanctions on Iran.

What I see is either the start of WWIII, the greatest depression, or a chance for liberty to regain its strength.

Let me start by saying that Iran is not a threat to the United States. They do not have the capacity to fly anywhere close to us, and certainly not to bomb us. Even if they developed missiles, they would be knocked out of the sky far before they would be able to strike a US city, and only if Iran was crazy enough to actually attempt it.

We have spent over a trillion dollars on multiple wars in the last decade, and have lost over 5000 men. That does not include the other countries losses, nor all the injured men who have returned home, and are unable to rejoin the work force or lead a normal life.

I see that if we start a war with Iran, it will be far more bloody than Iraq and Afghanistan, and it could draw in China and Russia to the conflict, therefore starting world war III. And for what reason? Oil? I mean think about it, of all the real reasons, why not oil? North Korea is developing Nuclear capabilities and we’re not threatening them. Why is it every country we invade is always oil rich, while there are plenty more dictatorships in the world with far more tyrannical laws?

The sad thing is, that even though we may be at peak oil right now, and I think that is the real reason for the forthcoming conflict. Oil is actually in abundance in this country. If it wasn’t for over-regulation, we could be fracking oil in Colorado, which has the largest oil reserves in the world.

Now think about this. If we start war with Iran, and Russia and China don’t get involved. It might not become World War III, but how are we going to pay for the conflict? At 15 trillion dollars, how can we borrow more, without devaluing the dollar further? China may well dump our currency which will crash the dollar, pummel the economy and send us into the greatest depression ever.

The third option is peace. A huge cut in spending, cuts in government departments and de-regulation.

There is only one candidate for the office of president who will lead this country back on that path. No other candidate is talking about these things.

President Obama did not sign the keystone pipeline. This shows that he is not interested in helping this country with its energy crises. And at $3.50 a gallon last time I filled up my car, we are in an energy crises. When gas costs more, everything costs more. And when everything costs more, you are unable to buy as much. When you are unable to buy as much, you don’t go out as much, and the domino effect is that more and more jobs are lost as companies slowly go out of business because people simply cannot afford to go anywhere and do very much.

In order for gas to go down, we need to regain our energy independence and drill/frack more oil here in our country.
