President Trump and the Art of War

The airstrikes in Syria were strategically brilliant. Yet this has baffled many, namely the more libertarian minded among us.

There are now rumors going around about the US invading Syria or the US getting into WWIII with Russia. Libertarians are losing their minds that President Trump is getting involved in another country and the liberals are losing their minds that he doesn’t want refugees to come into the country, yet gets upset about gas attacks.

There has been an awful lot of alarm and negativity thrown against the president over the last few weeks. I say weeks, because he has only been president for a few weeks. At first it really bothered me how negative the media was towards him, especially on inauguration day. He wasn’t even allowed a grace period, or a honeymoon period as you might call it. But now its starting to become somewhat amusing.

While the rest of the world, or at least America and Europe are playing checkers, President Trump is playing 3D chess.

By launching a missile strike while the Chinese President was visiting, he forced the Chinese to take him seriously and disabled their ability to heavily criticize him.

The missile strike forced not only Bashar Al Assad to take him seriously, it put Iran and North Korea on notice also.

The strike also put Russia on notice that it can no longer completely have its own way in the Middle-East anymore. It also completely blows the conspiracy theories about him being elected by the Russians completely out of the water.

In one fell swoop President Trump has blown up the liberal conspiracy theories, which were the strongest argument (if you can even call it that) that they had left.

It also completely overshadows the rise of Justice Gorsuch, which was another (and perhaps only) piece of ammunition the Democrats had left in their arsenal to rail against President Trump.

All the arguments against Gorsuch during his rise are now overshadowed by an airstrike which will now be speculated about for the next few weeks.

In the mean time Secretary of State Tillerson will be in Russia to talk to his counterparts. Instead of the Liberal media spinning it as him cozying up to his mates. They will be reporting about a possible coming conflict. In reality all it does it force Russia to take the US more seriously and allow better deals to come about.

As for the refugee crisis and the non intervention comments President Trump made back in 2013, you have to look at the current situation. You have to deal with the cards you’re given.

A lot of liberals and libertarians are upset. Their argument is that images of children dying is enough to provoke a missile strike, but women and children fleeing to the US is not allowed is somehow hypocritical.

Let’s break it down simply. Statistically the vast majority of refugees are military age men, not women and children. Even if they were, it is still not a good idea to allow thousands of refugees all the way to America when there are neighboring countries perfectly capable of helping out while also containing the radical jihadists.

The US is already tangled up in the Syrian mess. President Obama and his administration got the US into the mess to begin with.

President Trump was genuinely upset by the murder of innocent civilians and the use of chemicals is crossing the now infamous red lines set in place by President Obama. A strike on an airfield sends a powerful message to the world that the US is not to be messed around with anymore and that that kind of warfare is not to be tolerated.

For better or worse the US is the worlds foremost superpower. Part of making America great again and ensuring free trade and peace is by asserting American dominance. That is not something the libertarians like to see, but that is dealing with the cards you’re dealt.

President Trump is playing the cards he has been dealt in the best way he can. What he is doing on all fronts is playing the Art of War and showing that the US is still a power player on the world stage. That is a great thing for America and for the World.

Is Putin the new Tsar?

Until events earlier this year, I didn’t pay much attention to Vladimir Putin, but after the actions of his military in the Ukraine, and the annexation of the Crimea, you’d be a fool to ignore him.

Vladimir Putin is quoted as saying that “The collapse of the Soviet Union was the greatest geo-political catastrophe of the century”

Indeed this article even reports that Mr Putin wants to restore the Holy Roman Empire!

Putin Is The New Tsar Of The Holy Empire

He aims to deliver on pact with the Russian people.

L. TODD WOOD — MAY 19, 2014

Vladimir Putin may have been a communist, but he is no longer. Most Americans don’t understand that the Soviet Union was but a small seventy year slice of Russian imperial history. Instead of a new leader of the communist party, Putin has become the new tsar of Russia. It’s not about ideology for him; it’s about power. Rather than fomenting a communist utopia and spreading Leninism worldwide, Putin is resurrecting the Russian Empire. Under the Romanovs, the tsars expanded throughout Siberia and the Caucuses, even owning Alaska and parts of California at one point before withdrawing during the Crimean War. The tsars were experts at the geopolitical chessboard, conquering when they could and forging alliances when they were overmatched. Putin is borrowing from this playbook. He is reestablishing the long coveted third Holy Roman Empire.

When Constantinople fell to the Ottomans in the fifteenth century, many Christian holy relics were moved to Moscow in order to prevent them from falling into the hands of the Muslim invaders. The Russian Orthodox Church was intimately intertwined with the imperial halls of power and began to plant in the royalty’s mind the concept of the third Holy Roman Empire after the fall of Rome and Byzantium. The Church wanted a continuation of the Christian state. Putin has reinvigorated the relationship between the Russian government and the leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church. He uses it to build legitimacy among the populace of believers spread throughout the vast Russian territory. The royal necropolis, the Cathedral of the Archangel, stands only a few hundred yards from Putin’s residence inside the walls of the Kremlin. Ivan the Terrible and his two sons are buried there. One could be forgiven for wondering if Putin visits the necropolis for inspiration. As the Russian monk Philotheus said in 1510 to the royals, “Two Romes have fallen. The third stands. And there will be no fourth. No one shall replace your Christian Tsardom!”

Putin has also tapped into a deep reservoir of imperial pride that has been pent up for several decades since the fall of the Soviet Union. Russians want desperately to be respected and even feared around the world. Putin is giving the Russian people what they want. They are willing to relinquish their newfound freedoms for the return of a strong leader who can regain the perceived rightful place of Russian people.

There are striking similarities to the way Putin governs compared to the tsars of the past. Perhaps the most important is a concept introduced by Ivan the Terrible after his beloved wife Anastasia was poisoned by the Russian nobility. The oprichnina is the concept of a palace guard or circle of wealthy supporters who protect the tsar and receive special favors, economic- and security-wise. The Obama administration has started to target these individuals to put pressure on Putin to cease and desist in his quest for reclaiming the old Soviet states. It will take a lot more pressure from the West than has been applied to turn the allegiance of this group of insiders. Their future and Putin’s future are joined together.

The bottom line is that Putin will continue to push to achieve his imperial agenda as long as there is no opposition. He is playing the long game. He realizes Obama is weak and has given him an opportunity. He started planning this adventure a long time ago. He also realizes the Americans will probably elect a much stronger president in less than three years. Therefore, he is moving as fast as opportunity allows to achieve his goals. He wasted no time moving into Eastern Ukraine with the same successful tactics after Crimea was annexed.

Sanctions will have no effect on Putin’s calculus. He can bear economic pain as he pivots to the east to build trade relationships. His goal is not to become part of the West, but to reestablish what he believes is Russia’s historical destiny. He doesn’t want to conquer the West but to transcend it. Putin wants what the tsars of Russia have always wanted: respect, wealth, and power. He aims to deliver on this pact with the Russian people.

Indeed Time Magazine reported on the Tsar in 2007 when it made him person of the year.

time 2

No one is born with a stare like Vladimir Putin’s. The Russian President’s pale blue eyes are so cool, so devoid of emotion that the stare must have begun as an affect, the gesture of someone who understood that power might be achieved by the suppression of ordinary needs, like blinking. The affect is now seamless, which makes talking to the Russian President not just exhausting but often chilling. It’s a gaze that says, I’m in charge.

Time 1

The Irony being the Time Magazine also made Adolf Hitler man of the year some years ago too.

time 3

The actions of the ex KGB officer over the last few months have proven that he is in many ways, similar to Adolf Hitler. He may not be as brutal as Joseph Stalin, and he may not as yet be a dictator, but he is as land hungry as Nazi Germany’s former leader. Which is ironic considering that Russia is the largest country on the planet. But as the saying goes “power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely”

The final drums of war

The final drums of war are currently beating, heavier and steadier until the order is given. The order that will start World War III. Mr Obama, Mr Cameron, I urge both of you to reconsider action against Syria.

syria 4

While the world is distracted by Miley Cyrus and barbecues over Labor Day weekend, Syria will be bombed by the west, and the east will retaliate ten fold.

syria 3

How do I know this? Because I’ve been awake for over a year now, ever since I started this blog. The signs are there and history is repeating itself. It’s time to wake up and speak out.

syria 1

Where is the anti war left? Where are the demonstrations against Barack Obama and his war agenda?

syria 2

The only people who can stop this atrocity from taking place is you. You must say something, you must condemn these actions, or else you give up your free will and take a quiet seat beside our self imposed dictators.

syria 5

The drums are beating, faster now than ever before. Will you stand up or will we fall?

syria 6

Stand by for action!

Anything could happen in the next half hour!

When I was a child watching Gerry Anderson’s TV shows, I loved to see all the action, and how the heroes dealt with tough situations. Very rarely was force used, unless in self defence. Shows filmed in the 1960’s were optimistic and looked toward the future. Almost all of Gerry Anderson’s TV shows were based in the future.

Today though, our future is beginning to look rather bleak:

Tensions rise around the world:

Chinese protesters chant “down with US imperialists” attack car of US ambassador in Beijing

Nationwide strike begins in India

Troops prepare for war:

Alaska F-22s deployed to pacific even as tensions escalate between China and Japan

Cyber attacks begin:

What we really need in the world right now is an international rescue! Thunderbird’s was by far my favorite show when I was growing up. I loved seeing all the gadgets and machines used by the Tracy brothers. Show after show they pulled off daring feats to save innocent people.

The real international rescue will be the bloggers and those in power who are brave enough to stand up to corruption and seek peace instead of hostility. Perhaps if we can wake enough people up, and let the war mongers know that we’re watching them, they will call off these senseless attacks.

We will not have the resources to save ourselves if this current debt spiral continues to happen, and we allow ourselves to go to war. The dollar is failing, and our ships are sitting ducks in the Persian Gulf. We are currently in a nose dive and we need everyone who is awake to help pull up this falling machine of politics and return each nation state back toward free markets and liberty.

One by one, brick by brick, vote by vote, coin by coin, we will turn this nightmare scenario around. Perhaps December 2012 doesn’t need to be the end of the world, perhaps it can be the start of a whole new evolution in human thinking.

We now have rovers on mars and satellites at the end of our solar system. With movies such as Avatar, and TV shows such as Star Trek, why are we not looking toward the stars in search of new life? And why are we not respecting our life here at home?

In closing, it is up to each and every one of us as individuals to protect ourselves, our homes, our way of life. We need not murder each other in order to do that. Perhaps it is far better to find creative solutions to our problems, and have the bravery to point out the failures of citizens and politicians alike from both the left and the right, and from all nation states. The time has come for a great awakening. If we do not act now, anything could happen in the next half hour.

World War III looms

It appears that World War III is fast approaching.

I’ve already written about how a WWIII scenario might play out.

There are many reasons why WWIII may be imminent; including tensions throughout the world, and multiple countries constant saber rattling.

We now have tensions between Japan and China over an island dispute. There is now a real threat of conflict between these two nations. Our own defense secretary has said that a threat of war now exists.

There are reports of food shortages and oil shortages throughout the globe.

Our countries freedoms have been stripped away through bills such as the patriot act and NDAA, and the country is split and divided.

We are seeing massive blowback in the middle east from our failed foreign policies. Which is little wonder when so many innocent people are being killed on a daily basis.

There are uprisings all over the middle east, and Syria is currently in turmoil.

The dollar is on the decline, and our government on both sides of the isle show no signs of slowing down the rate of debt.

There is a huge buildup of forces in the gulf, tensions continue to grow, and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netenyahu is hell bent on starting a war with Iran.

When you look at all the facts, from the imminent collapse of the dollar, the wars in the middle east and the internal rift at home, there are only two options left to move forward from. We can either completely withdraw our forces from the middle east and fix our policies at home, or we can commit to a full scale war in the middle east, which could lead to a global war; a war which even if nuclear missiles are not used, we might not win.

The Russians have  a new missile that would wreak havoc on our ships and decimate our naval strength if used against us in the middle east. Iran owns thousands of these missiles, and is prepared to use them in retaliation against us if we attack them.

But why would we want to attack this peaceful country? Iran has not initiated a war in over 200 years. Why do we see the need to bomb them? Especially when there are no proven nuclear weapons there.

Isn’t Israel more of a threat to peace in the middle east? After all, they are the only Middle-Eastern country which possess nuclear weapons, and they routinely threaten their neighbors.

Should we go along with Benjamin Netanyahu’s demands and attack Iran? This same man who has for years threatened that Iran was only years/months away from a bomb, without ever having proof. And was quoted in 2002 as saying; “Once we squeeze all we can out of the United States, it can dry up and blow away.”

Why do we listen to Israel in the first place? All of these Muslim Brotherhood uprisings are caused from our interference in foreign countries affairs.

The claim that the Muslims hate Christians is completely unfounded. If it were true, then why doesn’t Al-Qaeda attack other christian nations? Why have they never attacked a country in South America; which is almost all Catholic?

Why does Israel always get positive coverage in the media, while we are led to believe all Muslims are evil? Is it because as Ariel Sharon once said “we, the Jewish people control America, and the Americans know it”?

I believe that the extremist Zionists are far more of a threat to this world than the Muslim extremists. From what I have researched and found out, the Muslims only want to be left alone in peace, whereas the Zionists appear to crave world domination.

This country is entering a debt spiral and the best candidate to go up against our ‘Muslim Marxist’ president is an Israeli sponsored vulture capitalist with an abysmal record on governing and job creation, and doesn’t appear to be much different. The two parties act like gangs, and are more interested in bashing each other than getting anything done. Each party also seems to whitewash its own principles.

How much hope do we have left when supposed independents such as Glenn Beck tear down constitutional candidates such as Ron Paul and Gary Johnson, while backing up war mongers such as Rick Santorum and draft dodging Mitt Romney?

This country and indeed the world, has never faced so many difference crisis in such a small amount of time before, and it appears that all most people can do is either sit back and ignore it, or call for blood.

The only way to get out of this mess and to avoid a war is to have the courage to stand up as individuals and speak out, to research the subjects which frighten us, to question boldly, to disagree with the status quo, and to share our findings.

I agree with Mike Rivero:

“The battle for the renewal of freedom in this country will not be won with battering rams, bullhorns, and bullets, but will be won to the sound of keyboards, the with bloggers and observers making logical, intelligent, peaceful assessments as to what is happening, and how things can be changed without firing a single shot.”

We must forge a new path if we are to avoid this catastrophe, we can no longer accept the solutions of the past.

The freedom of mankind is won through acts of individual heroism and wisdom. We must stand up for principles not only to save this country, but to become a beacon of hope for the world.

Isn’t it time we advanced ourselves past these stupid wars and look toward the stars once more? Or should we just ‘nuke’ other countries into oblivion and all die a horrible death?

I suppose the biggest and most important question right now is; what are you doing to safegaurd the future of your country, your freedom, and of the world? Are you prepared to do what is necessary to protect our home and humanity?

A World War III Scenario

Since writing this two years ago, Russian aggression and the annexation of the Crimea, coupled with the rise of ISIS, has changed things dramatically. It is no longer simply a concern of US forces being stationed throughout the world, but actual hostile aggression from other nations. The dogma against the US, for being evil, is being worn away by truthful conservatives such as Dinesh D’souza. And there is an even bigger problem at home with the weak kneed leadership of President Barack Obama.  – Paul Townsend 12/18/14

There is a build up of arms in the middle east, and the wars being carried out by the US and its allies seem to be endless. In order to safeguard themselves, Syria and Iran have a mutual defense pact.

China has vested interests in Iran, and has signed a deal to develop Iranian oil fields.

A Russian company has just signed a deal to develop oil in Kurdish self-ruled Northern Iraq.

There are Russian warships docked off the coast of Syria, and China has just sent a destroyer up the Suez Canal.

The following is merely speculation, but could become reality in the near future.

Here is a map of US forces in the world:

This is what I think might happen in a World War III senario, with the US and Nato vs Russia and China backing Syria and Iran.

The US forces and allied countries are shaded in blue, with Syria and Iran shaded in red:

If Syria is attacked, Iran has a mutual defense pact, and will come to its aid. An Iranian and Syrian counter offensive might look something like this:

Syria may attack along the Turkish border, against Israel, and along the Iraq border against US forces. While Iran may attack into Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, taking out its many oil fields, and shutting down the straight of Hormuz.

If China and Russia get involved, it might look something like this:

Russia could drop down from the north and support Iran against Iraq and Afghanistan , while attacking Turkey. China could enter the conflict from the east and enter through Afghanistan. Both Russia and China could use their Navy’s to attack from the Arabian sea and Mediterranean sea. For good measure they could mine the straight of Hormuz, the gulf of Aden, the Suez canal, and even the straight of Gibraltar. Not only cutting off half the world’s oil supply from the middle east, but also blocking in any NATO ships in the Mediterranean.

Now that was purely speculation. But here are some more facts:

The US produces 9 million barrels of oil per day, while Russia produces 10 million barrels per day. China produces 4 million but consumes 9 million. The problem the US has, is that while Russia only consumes 2.7 million barrels, with 3/4 of its production spare to sell. The US uses a staggering 18 million barrels a day, far out pacing its closest consumer; China, and using twice as much at is produces.

For some facts and figures on oil production, usage and firepower from all the worlds leading countries. Go to www.globalfirepower.com where you can even compare countries head to head.

For instance, here is how the US compares to Russia:

To bring some more realization to this, today Russia has reported US troops mounting alongside Turkish troops along the Syrian border. And Iran has warned Turkey not to invade Syria.

This is getting very serious.

Remember that China holds much of our current debt, and could cripple our economy without even firing a shot. I may be speculating on how an invasion, or counter attack might take place, but the facts are out there. The US and allies are building troops, and so are Russia and China.

Attacking Iran and Syria may be the United States biggest mistake in history. I am praying that we do not start such a foolish conquest.

Many believe that the US is invincible, and while currently powerful, the nation is crumbling at its core. Wars are expensive, and debt piles up. The USA was founded upon freedom, and yet there are many in government now who advocate an end to it through totalitarian pieces of legislation.

Real national defense comes from within, that is why the second amendment is so important in the US constitution. These needless conquests in the middle east need to stop,  as it may well help bring about the complete destruction of this country.

My reasoning for making this posting is to illustrate the danger to all the war mongers out there, and to those who are cheer leading for more conflict in a world already suffering from too many wars of aggression. Sure, there are elements of danger in the world toward us, but there has always been terrorists.

My concern is for the young men and women stationed out in the middle east right now, and for their families, as they are about to be asked once again to risk their lives and die for their county’s needless conquests, instead of returning home and actually protecting our freedoms.

Like I’ve said before, over the last decade, while our troops have been away, we have lost more freedoms at home, than in any time in our history.

Even without the use of nuclear weapons, a third world war, even if contained only to the middle east, would be catastrophic, and I urge everyone who reads this, to ask your senators and congressmen, to vote against any more sanctions, and to pressure the presidential candidates and leaders to avoid more bloodshed.

We have better means to gather more oil, and indeed an economy built on new jobs at home for oil production, is far better than death and destruction abroad to loot it from other nations.

Tell the world of Paschendale

Iron Maiden is a very well known heavy metal band from the 1980’s. Aside from the fact they are still playing, and at this minute on tour, they continue to put out very intriguing and passion filled songs.

One of my favorite songs is ‘Paschendale’. Which recalls one of the bloodiest battles from the ‘Great War’.

Britain lost 1/10 of its entire population during the first world war. An entire generation was wiped out. And for what? None of the European countries gained anything substantial from the bloodbath.

Please listen to the song and read the lyrics, it is a haunting message, that bares not only truth from the brutal conflict, but a warning to future generations.

In a foreign field he lay
Lonely soldier, unknown grave
On his dying words he prays
Tell the world of Paschendale

Relive all that he’s been through
Last communion of his soul
Rust your bullets with his tears
Let me tell you ’bout his years

Laying low in a blood filled trench
Kill time ’til my very own death
On my face I can feel the falling rain
Never see my friends again

In the smoke, in the mud and lead
Smell the fear and the feeling of dread
Soon be time to go over the wall
Rapid fire and end of us all

Whistles, shouts and more gun fire
Lifeless bodies hang on barbed wire
Battlefield nothing but a bloody tomb
Be reunited with my dead friends soon

Many soldiers eighteen years
Drown in mud, no more tears
Surely a war no-one can win
Killing time about to begin

Home, far away
From the war, a chance to live again
Home, far away
But the war, no chance to live again

The bodies of ours and our foes
The sea of death it overflows
In no man’s land, God only knows
Into jaws of death we go

Crucified as if on a cross
Allied troops they mourn their loss
German war propaganda machine
Such before has never been seen

Swear I heard the angels cry
Pray to god no more may die
So that people know the truth
Tell the tale of Paschendale

Cruelty has a human heart
Every man does play his part
Terror of the men we kill
The human heart is hungry still

I stand my ground for the very last time
Gun is ready as I stand in line
Nervous wait for the whistle to blow
Rush of blood and over we go

Blood is falling like the rain
Its crimson cloak unveils again
The sound of guns can’t hide their shame
And so we die on Paschendale

Dodging shrapnel and barbed wire
Running straight at cannon fire
Running blind as I hold my breath
Say a prayer symphony of death

As we charge the enemy lines
A burst of fire and we go down
I choke a cry but no-one hears
Feel the blood go down my throat

Home, far away
From the war, a chance to live again
Home, far away
But the war, no chance to live again

Home, far away
From the war, a chance to live again
Home, far away
But the war, no chance to live again

See my spirit on the wind
Across the lines, beyond the hill
Friend and foe will meet again
Those who died at Paschendale

War is a costly and bloody concept, and should be avoided. It is very hard, if not impossible for a country to take over another, with an armed populace. That is why the US could not win in Vietnam, and continues to fail in Afghanistan. That is why the Zulu defeated the British during the Zulu wars.

Our modern killing machines are capable of so much death and destruction. Why send our young men out to die in droves in fruitless wars? Surely the time tested idea of self defense is a better strategy than the continued failings of preemptive wars of aggression.

Please consider this when you think the idea of attacking Iran is a good one. Iran has no intention of harming us or Israel, unless provoked. Iran has not initiated a war in over two hundred years. Israel has a huge nuclear weapons stock pile, and Iran has none. Listen to the rhetoric on the mainstream media when they insinuate that Iran may be trying to build a nuclear bomb. Notice how they can’t actually prove anything, or even tell you that they are building one.

If we side with the current twisted leadership of Benjamin Netanhayu, and attack Iran, China and Russia may well get involved. This has the potential to start a third world war. And many lives will be lost. And for what?

Unless you are prepared to pick up your own arms and go off to war yourself, be careful about where you rattle your war saber. Cruelty does have a human heart, and every man does play his part. Your opinion matters. Are you prepared to back up your own words? I know I am.

This post is dedicated to all those who died during the brutal conflict of World War I, and a warning to those who call for more death and destruction in what should be a peaceful world after ‘the war to end all wars’.

Life comes at you fast!

After the Tea Party on Tuesday, I wrote the article about Rick Santorum. In my opinion, based on facts and common sense, Ron Paul is the only candidate who has the credentials necessary to lead this country and I endorse him for the presidency. Guys like Rick Santorum have no place in leading this country. Your political record stays with you forever, and his stinks!

After I posted the article on Wednesday, life caught up with me at breakneck speed. I have a draft post for an article on Glenn Beck and Israel. It is long and complicated. Basically; I do not believe we should pay any special interests to this UN mandated country which took over land formally held by Palestinians. Glenn talks about Israel being a bastion of democracy. But if anything it is a provoker of many of the wars in the Middle East, and does nothing to stabilize the region. I also find it very troubling that many of the presidential candidates are sponsored by the American Israel super pacs, all the while Israel and these Israel backed candidates are propping up and sponsoring the ideas of bombing Iran. As I have mentioned before, bombing Iran would be a very foolish thing to do, and could trigger WWIII, or simply a massive default on our currency.

There are many problems right now. And what troubles me is that Glenn may actually not be who we think he is. I see it as one of two ways; he is an agent of blatant misinformation, riding on the side of liberty while acting as its destroyer. Or he is simply and helplessly flawed in his thinking on the Middle East and the rationale behind supporting Israel and religious bigotry.

Like I said; the article I have drafted is long and needs a lot of work. But always keep in mind that the hero does often become the villain (read the hero with a thousand faces) and that many people can be wrong in some areas while right in many others.

I like Glenn’s exposure of progressives and all the links between those in power and the organizations and special interests that support them. But I find it troublesome that he supports special interests of his own.

Over the next week I will be extremely busy. I am designing a website and putting together an online store for a company I am helping to set up. Aside from Super Tuesday; where I’ll be gathering signatures for the Ohio Workplace Freedom Amendment, my time will be completely booked.

I’ll continue to contribute more blogs in the future, though not as many as previously at this point in time.

Always question everything around you. Never accept what others say simply because they are right on most issues. You never know for sure until you do the research for yourself.

“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear.” -Thomas Jefferson

Fuzzy logic: The case for bombing Iran

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are going so well. So why not invade, sorry; ‘strategically bomb’ Iran?

If I had been the caller, I would have considered myself ‘schooled’ by George. What many people don’t realize is that its OK to be wrong sometimes. The caller believes that its OK to bomb a country because it is a ‘threat’ to us. When presented with the facts, he goes back on weaker and weaker knowledge and ‘facts’ to defend his view point. If I had been the caller, and was presented that information, I would have accepted it, and told George that I’d look more into the information he’d given me, and that I’d call him back later and talk more. People are often so wrapped up in themselves that they will defy all logic to make themselves feel better against being wrong. It is OK to be wrong. We learn from our mistakes. The honorable thing to do is to accept the schooling, and say ‘alright, you’ve got a fair point, let me look into it and I’ll get back to you’. That is a far more intelligent way to move forward, rather than to boldly argue in the case of stupidity, when new facts present themselves contrary to your current beliefs.

So why is it that the media goes along with all this new war propaganda? The drums of war were beating against Afghanistan and Iraq before invasion, but they ceased to beat when our young men began being blown to bloody bits, in countries that did not want them there. Only after the bombs fell, did we realize that perhaps it was not such a good idea. Only then did the media begin to review the wars negatively. So what is in it for the media? Are they really so inept to cover the news (the real news), that they will go along with almost any unfolding drama just for a ‘news story’?

WWIII is a planned event:

“Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.” – President Harry S. Truman.

‘If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy’ – James Madison

War and Peace:

US prepares to annihilate Iran:

‘How fortunate that men to not think’ – Adolf Hitler

It is truly terrifying how similar our current candidates speak compared to Hitler. Preemptive strikes, protecting the homeland. Everything they say mirrors Hitler in an eerie way. That is why I say to those on the right; watch out for fascism.

Does it not trouble you that the media attacks the only candidate who is running on freedom and the Constitution?

Even the beloved ‘great great American’ Sean Hannity wants war. Even the infamous Bill O’Reilly panics when Ron Paul points out that we are the ones who are a threat to Iran. He shuts Ron Paul down when he tries to explain it to him. This is why I have no respect for any news network right now. Fox news is no better than CNN or MSNBC. They are all a poison on our conscious. Fox news might say that they are fair and balanced, they might say that they are pro-freedom, but they are simply puppets of the cronyism that is ruining this nation.

The media has an agenda, and each network pushes it from different angles. Fox news is no different. The special interests have poisoned every media organization, and anyone who speaks out against it, has been fired or marginalized.

Anyway, back to the case for bombing Iran:

Look how evil the Iranians are:

I mean just look at them! How evil! How dare they enjoy life! Bomb them, bomb them now!

Oh wait…they’re not evil. Sure their government is a little whacky; which is just like every other government in that case. Why in the hell are we talking about bombing them? If not to destroy their country for ‘our oil’? I’ve said it before, that Iran is not a threat to us, and that we have more than enough oil on our own land. I say leave the Iranians the hell alone, and if Israel wants to start a war, let them, but don’t involve us, let them have their war, and see what happens to them for starting it. Glenn Beck wonders why so many youth don’t practice religion right now, and yet he talks about how evil Iran is and how there is a prophecy and that Iran calls us big Satan and Israel little Satan. Well to Iran that is true…we are satanic in our actions toward them, with all our threats. And prophecies about wars and Jesus returning make you sound like a nut case. The youth are not stupid. Many are misguided, and many are mis-educated, and you can thank many of Glenn’s generation for that. Thank god he is doing something to correct that, but he really needs to wake up on his foreign policy stance. Glenn, not everyone is Christian, I know you say that you respect all religions, but its not coming off that way. Your book about George Washington heavily sided with divine providence. While that may be true, that doesn’t mean that everyone should be christian or that the founding fathers wanted this to be a christian nation.

Jesse Ventura is right, religion has caused most of the past wars, and continues to fuel new wars.

When are we going to stop naked wars of aggression and go back to defensive policy only?

Why are we busy protecting ‘holy sites’ and starting ‘holy wars’ and not respecting others ‘holy sites’ and cowering from their threats of ‘holy wars’? Don’t you see how stupid all this is? I’ll side with Charlie Chaplin, and say that ‘the kingdom of god is within man, not one man, nor a group of men, but in all men’ and in that case it should not matter where you practice religion, nor what historical buildings you have. Respect one another and let bygones be bygones.

Here are the consequences to expect if we do start a war with Iran, and bombing Iran is an act of war:

Now I’ll bet I’ve done a great job alienating the few subscribers that I currently have. But I’m not in this for some popularity contest. I said from the very first post that I would expose the truth. And in this post, I’ll say this: Anyone who thinks that bombing Iran is a good idea, or that it is in our best national interests is NUTS!
