Time goes by so slowly
Actually, most of the time it doesn’t go by slowly at all.
Last week I put in about 55 hours at my day job, after having shot a wedding the previous weekend. During the middle of the week my second nephew was born, and though I had more sleep than the rest of the family, there were a couple of nights where I only got a couple of hours. Thursday I went to a Tea Party rally where the vice president for research at the FED in Cleveland gave a speech, and I took notes (an article to follow!) and Saturday was filled with errands.
Yesterday however I did get some rest. After my wife and I woke up and had breakfast, she went to work and I took an hour to sit outside and drink my coffee and just enjoy the cool early autumn air. I reflected on life, the past week, and our plans for the future.
If the world doesn’t blow itself up by the end of the year, and this country doesn’t declare martial law and become a complete police state, I would like to have kids of my own. I now have two nephews, one from my sister and one now from my sister in law. Both boys are healthy and strong of mind. One is only 5 days old, and the other is 2 1/2 years old.
I get into battles on this blog, and I express my viewpoints so that there might be a future for them. It’s what any good uncle or citizen would do. I’m more afraid of them growing up into a life of servitude than the iron fist of the state coming after me.
If we (as a nation or as the world) can get through the next few months, and if we can begin getting back on track, I would like children of my own. Life is going well for my wife and I right now, but there will never be a perfect time to have kids. There will always be troubles in the world. My grandparents grew up during the second world war and witnessed bombs fall on their neighbors houses while Canterbury burned in the distance. My grandparents and their generation went through a lot growing up, and yet they turned out to be one of the strongest generations out there.
Time very rarely goes by slowly, but every once in a while you get to enjoy a few slow moments. Life speeds up as you go along so it’s important to enjoy it while it lasts!
Stand by for action!
Anything could happen in the next half hour!
When I was a child watching Gerry Anderson’s TV shows, I loved to see all the action, and how the heroes dealt with tough situations. Very rarely was force used, unless in self defence. Shows filmed in the 1960’s were optimistic and looked toward the future. Almost all of Gerry Anderson’s TV shows were based in the future.
Today though, our future is beginning to look rather bleak:
Tensions rise around the world:
Chinese protesters chant “down with US imperialists” attack car of US ambassador in Beijing
Nationwide strike begins in India
Troops prepare for war:
Alaska F-22s deployed to pacific even as tensions escalate between China and Japan
Obama to meet with Netanyahu as naval ships heading for straight of Hormuz
Senior Chinese general orders military to prepare for war with Japan
Israel stages largest snap exercise in years
Cyber attacks begin:
(along with sanctions are a prelude to war)
US caught creating cyberwar viruses
China launches cyberwar against Japan as hackers take down 19 Japanese websites
False Flag Alerts:
Alert: False flag United Nations terror attack planned for New York city on September 23rd 2012
CIA sponsored taliban and al-qaeda resurface in the theater of false flags
Former state department veteran drops bombshell WWIII starts Sept 25th 2012
Expulsion of foreign organizations:
Russia demands US end pro-democracy work
All this while the dollar is collapsing:
Dollar index headed for rapid collapse over next 3 to 4 weeks
And economies slump:
World stocks fall weak Japan China indicators
What we really need in the world right now is an international rescue! Thunderbird’s was by far my favorite show when I was growing up. I loved seeing all the gadgets and machines used by the Tracy brothers. Show after show they pulled off daring feats to save innocent people.
The real international rescue will be the bloggers and those in power who are brave enough to stand up to corruption and seek peace instead of hostility. Perhaps if we can wake enough people up, and let the war mongers know that we’re watching them, they will call off these senseless attacks.
We will not have the resources to save ourselves if this current debt spiral continues to happen, and we allow ourselves to go to war. The dollar is failing, and our ships are sitting ducks in the Persian Gulf. We are currently in a nose dive and we need everyone who is awake to help pull up this falling machine of politics and return each nation state back toward free markets and liberty.
One by one, brick by brick, vote by vote, coin by coin, we will turn this nightmare scenario around. Perhaps December 2012 doesn’t need to be the end of the world, perhaps it can be the start of a whole new evolution in human thinking.
We now have rovers on mars and satellites at the end of our solar system. With movies such as Avatar, and TV shows such as Star Trek, why are we not looking toward the stars in search of new life? And why are we not respecting our life here at home?
In closing, it is up to each and every one of us as individuals to protect ourselves, our homes, our way of life. We need not murder each other in order to do that. Perhaps it is far better to find creative solutions to our problems, and have the bravery to point out the failures of citizens and politicians alike from both the left and the right, and from all nation states. The time has come for a great awakening. If we do not act now, anything could happen in the next half hour.
Military Police and Drones
When asked the question ‘how on earth could you do that?’ is asked. Their answers are all the same; ‘I was just doing my job’ or ‘I’ve got bills to pay’. They were just doing their ‘duty’. The problem with collectivism, is that it is so rampant, and so widespread, that it affects everyone’s lives. It is easy to hide behind, and is the cause of millions of deaths and suffering in the world.
Portrait of a Drone Killer: ‘I Have a Duty, and I Execute My Duty’
Evil men and their puppets are able to hide behind technology now, but it is harder for the police ‘on the street’. The evidence of militarized build up of police forces is now rampant. The problems arise when innocent people get shot by cops who cross the line, like the events in Anaheim a few days ago.
The people who protest against police brutality and the militarization of police forces are heroes. Now how exactly is this young man threatening anyone?
Why is it, in a civilized nation, that we need the police force to become militarized? Is it because we are heading straight toward total anarchy? Or a total police state? I would say we already have a police state. There are security cameras being put up at new intersections all over the country. The police have become militarized, and the TSA has become an ever increasing parasite, including not only airports now, but bus services, and road checkpoints. This country truly is becoming the spitting image of Nazi Germany of the 1930’s.
When you hear news pundits talk about the ‘greatness of America’ and of patriotism and ‘serving your nation’. They are talking of serving the state, for the sake of the state, and not for the responsibility of liberty. Freedom comes at a cost, but not in wars over seas. We have lost more freedoms since our armed forces have been in Iraq and Afghanistan, than any other point in our nation’s history.
Take a look around you, what do you see? Is this still the home of the brave and the land of the free? Or do you notice the 450 million rounds of ammunition going to homeland security, an agency that didn’t exist a few years ago. And do you see all the horrible constitution denying documents that are being passed by congress?
Nazi Germany came about slowly over the course of a decade, in a similar way to this country over this previous decade.
What is your definition of patriotism? Do you support and defend the Constitution and your own individual liberties, or do you support the nation state and the collective?
At what point should the police and military stop taking horrific orders? Will they stop at the sight of Americans themselves being killed? Or is their training so ingrained that they will go along with whatever their masters tell them to?
And what will you do? How far will you go? Will you stand up and stop this from happening? Or will you go along with the nation, for the greatness of the nation state?
As Yoda said in star wars; “you must unlearn, what you have learned”
