Criminals in Tampa

Did you know that Mitt Romney is a criminal?

Mitt Romney accepted financing for his campaign from Israelis during his trip to Israel. As you all know; accepting contributions from foreigners is illegal and is a felony.

Supreme Court Retains Ban on Foreign Campaign Donations

Do we really want to elect a felon to the presidency?

Ron Paul’s record is clean and pristine. He has served in the military. He has upheld the constitution at every turn. He has never raised taxes. Ron Paul is the only clear choice to restore peace, freedom, and sanity to this great nation.

Good luck to all the Ron Paul patriots in Tampa, our hearts are with you as you move to save the republic!

Give me liberty or give me death!

Brandon Raub released!

Breaking news! Brandon Raub has just been released!

This just in from Ben Swann WXIX:

MAJOR UPDATE: I told you last night about U.S. Marine Brandon Raub who was being held against his will in a mental hospital in Virigina… without having been served with an arrest warrant or charged with any crime. Today, a U.S. District judge agreed with the points we made last night, that Brandon’s constitutional rights had been violated. Today, Brandon Raub has been released.

“In court Thursday, the judge said that the petition was blank and didn’t list a single allegation against him. The judge said Raub suffered a “deprivation of his liberty” by being held without a clear claim.”- WWBT TV

If we do not hold the government’s feet to the fire, our freedoms will continue to be diminished. We must wake up and expose the facts.

Stand up when you see injustice. Politicians and those in power do not like it when fingers are pointed at them.

So keep up the fight for everyone’s individual liberty and the right to express it!

Silencing Dissent and Tyranny in America

This morning I read two disturbing articles about clamping down on freedom of speech. These articles speak for themselves.

The first one is by Conservative Daily News, and talks about Brandon Ruab, who is a military veteran, and who has just been ‘detained’ indefinitely, for questioning the government on his Facebook page:

http://www.conservativedailynews.com/2012/08/brandon-raub-victim-of-tyranny-in-america/

The second one is by Activist Post, and is about silencing dissent. The article explores what is going on right now regarding protesters, and the government’s clamping down on freedom of speech and expression:

http://www.activistpost.com/2012/08/silencing-dissent-in-america.html

It is of vital importance that you become aware of what is going on. Even this conservative news site explains that the media has dropped the ball:

A double standard does exist and the lame stream media, including FOX News Network and much of conservative talk radio, is complicit. Not only do the lame streams ignore the violations of the Constitution going on every day, they actually cheer lead for those committing the violations.  Our liberty, our Republic of the United States of America, is teetering on the edge of extinction and very few in any media seem to have the courage to really speak boldly about what is happening.  Mark Levin and Michael Savage have been rather vocal but most of the”biggies” sidestep this issue of such bold tyranny in all branches of government.

Carrying the water on the most serious issues of liberty is left to those of us who have no national voice and lack the wealth many media darlings protect with their silence.

And the Activist Post explains just how far the government will go clamp down on us.

Freedom in America is endangered. Bipartisan complicity plans destroying it altogether.

America is on a fast track toward tyranny and ruin. Police state laws threaten everyone.

Increasingly, dissent is marginalized. It’s not tolerated. Resistance is called dangerous to National Security.

Federal authorities target activists. So do militarized local police. No-holds-barred tactics are employed.

We must learn what is going on, and we must tell others.

Do not give in to fear, stand up, speak out, click on these articles and share them with your friends, your co-workers, anyone who will listen. Even if it scares you to do so, you must make a stand, you must say ‘no’ to tyranny. If you do not stand up, the fear tactics currently being used will take an even stronger hold and the culprits will know that they have won.

This is the land of the free and the home of the brave, but only so long as people stand up and protect that right. Bravery does not mean lack of fear, it means overcoming that fear and doing what is right anyway. Wake up, step up, and make your stand. Make your voice heard, and spread the message through this great torrent of information we call the internet. The mainstream media has let us down, but we the people are the mainstream, so lets get the word out and reclaim the freedom that is rightfully ours.

Talking about my generation

My generation is now experiencing first hand the fall out of bad governance, crony corporatism, special interests, and interventionism.

My generation is growing up into an encroaching police state. Our country is completely divided, while some people cling to the left, and some people cling to the right. But the problems lie much deeper than that.

Our currency is now completely off the gold standard and is now backed by nothing. This fiat currency loses more and more value every day. Never in human history has a country survived on fiat currancy alone. Our 41’st anniversary with fiat currency just went by.

To go along with the fiat currancy, we also have an unprecedented amount of debt. Never in human history has a country accumulated so much debt. And all nations that do not resolve their debt problems go into decline.

Wars are expensive. Not only are they bloody and brutal, but the costs of maintaining them always drags down a nation’s wealth and resources. As of right now, we have over one hundred military bases around the world, and are engaged in a number of conflicts. Including the war in Afghanistan, and using drones and hellfire missiles to kill people in Pakistan and many other middle eastern and African countries.

Our elections are now completely fraudulent. In the 2000 presidential election we caught our first taste of this. And during the primaries this year, there have been many reports and law suits filled over the GOP’s handling of the nomination process. There are accusations of Ron Paul’s votes being counted as Romney’s, and counties that weren’t even allowed to vote. It seems that the GOP can’t even play by its own rules.

With my generation the buck stops here. We are no longer able to tollerate the charade of political deception being played by the establishment and enshrined in the media.

When I came to this country, I learned a lot about freedom and individual liberties. It’s the kind of knowledge that once you know, you don’t forget. In fact, once you know it, you begin to espouse it, and you can’t stop talking about it. Once you know what true liberty and freedom is, it gets stuck in your veins, and you’ll fight to maintain it.

When I first moved here, and after the 2008 elections, I tuned in to fox news and discovered Glenn Beck. Up until the beginning of this year I loved the guy and everything that he stood for. But then things stopped adding up. Something seemed wrong to me. Some of the actions he was taking and things he was saying didn’t make sense, they didn’t add up. I felt like he was going against the very principles he stood for. After discovering these things, I came to the conclusion that he is either completely miscalculating with the information he receives, or that he is an agent of misinformation, here to take our thoughts and upsets at the government, and flip them right back around to continue the establishment, to further their agendas. The problem with people like Glenn Beck is that while they are right in most aspects. They are also wrong in many others, and this leads us into a false dichotomy, and does nothing to help our reasoning skills. Always take what you hear from others with a pinch of salt, don’t take it as prophesy.

One of the biggest problems we have is that our media establishment is completely bias. I’ve heard the Tea Party and Glenn Beck complain for years now that the liberal media is bias. Now where I don’t dispute that, I would point out that FOX News and many of the other ‘conservative’ news channels are bias also. In fact all the liberal and conservative channels are all geared toward the big government and big brother agenda in one way or another. All they have to do is get you to argue about trivial issues, and you end up missing the point entirely.

Corruption is rife in this country. Of course no country is void of it, but you see it even on a local level here. There are very few politicians in power who do not accept lobbying from one group or another. Congress is now no longer concerned with our well being, but completely concerned with furthering their own interests, their own profits and their own convoluted agendas.

The corrupt politicians, the crony businessmen, the sold out media, and all the special interests groups are all working hand in hand for their own agendas, while looting the wealth of the nation. This is a cycle that cannot continue and will collapse in on itself, taking many innocent people with it. If we cannot put a stop to it, we will go down as a nation, whether we self destruct as a police state, or fall into total anarchy, our future looks extremely bleak, if we continue on our present path.

So where do we go from here? And what can we do about it? How can we fix these problems?

For all their current faults I still admire The tea party. I like it when groups of people get together and try to hammer out solutions to pressing problems. The local tea party groups in my area have had much success at the state and local level.

I believe that the future of this country is to build from the ground up at local levels. To elect new congressmen and new senators. To go across the isle and vote for both democrat and republican candidates, based on their knowledge of the constitution and their explanations of how they would roll back government.

And finally, the best thing you can do as an individual is to speak out and build a better tomorrow. If more voices come into the fray, then our debates get livelier, and we can weed out the ideas that don’t work and find more common ground.

The problems that face my generation are unprecedented in our country’s history. It is no longer a simple case of voting for one side or the other. It will take a great deal of effort and awakening by the older generations to help steer our country back onto the path of liberty and prosperity.

Learn about the constitution, and have the guts to stand up for what is right, don’t just go along with the crowd or the establishment. The stance that you make and show to the younger generation will make a lasting impression. Remember that the future is always built, by the up and coming generation. So together, lets make sure we make it a good one!

Disinformation: how it works

Some articles need no introduction, please read this one for yourself:

Disinformation: How It Works

By Brandon Smith

August 13, 2012 “Information Clearing House” —   There was a time, not too long ago (relatively speaking), that governments and the groups of elites that controlled them did not find it necessary to conscript themselves into wars of disinformation.

Propaganda was relatively straightforward. The lies were much simpler. The control of information flow was easily directed. Rules were enforced with the threat of property confiscation and execution for anyone who strayed from the rigid socio-political structure. Those who had theological, metaphysical or scientific information outside of the conventional and scripted collective world view were tortured and slaughtered. The elites kept the information to themselves, and removed its remnants from mainstream recognition, sometimes for centuries before it was rediscovered.

With the advent of anti-feudalism, and most importantly the success of the American Revolution, elitists were no longer able to dominate information with the edge of a blade or the barrel of a gun. The establishment of Republics, with their philosophy of open government and rule by the people, compelled Aristocratic minorities to plot more subtle ways of obstructing the truth and thus maintaining their hold over the world without exposing themselves to retribution from the masses. Thus, the complex art of disinformation was born.

The technique, the “magic” of the lie, was refined and perfected. The mechanics of the human mind and the human soul became an endless obsession for the establishment.

The goal was malicious, but socially radical; instead of expending the impossible energy needed to dictate the very form and existence of the truth, they would allow it to drift, obscured in a fog of contrived data. They would wrap the truth in a Gordian Knot of misdirection and fabrication so elaborate that they felt certain the majority of people would surrender, giving up long before they ever finished unraveling the deceit. The goal was not to destroy the truth, but to hide it in plain sight.

In modern times, and with carefully engineered methods, this goal has for the most part been accomplished. However, these methods also have inherent weaknesses. Lies are fragile. They require constant attentiveness to keep them alive. The exposure of a single truth can rip through an ocean of lies, evaporating it instantly.

In this article, we will examine the methods used to fertilize and promote the growth of disinformation, as well as how to identify the roots of disinformation and effectively cut them, starving out the entire system of fallacies once and for all.
Media Disinformation Methods

The mainstream media, once tasked with the job of investigating government corruption and keeping elitists in line, has now become nothing more than a public relations firm for corrupt officials and their Globalist handlers. The days of the legitimate “investigative reporter” are long gone (if they ever existed at all), and journalism itself has deteriorated into a rancid pool of so called “TV Editorialists” who treat their own baseless opinions as supported fact.

The elitist co-opting of news has been going on in one form or another since the invention of the printing press. However, the first methods of media disinformation truly came to fruition under the supervision of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, who believed the truth was “subjective” and open to his personal interpretation.

Some of the main tactics used by the mainstream media to mislead the masses are as follows:

Lie Big, Retract Quietly: Mainstream media sources (especially newspapers) are notorious for reporting flagrantly dishonest and unsupported news stories on the front page, then quietly retracting those stories on the very back page when they are caught. In this case, the point is to railroad the lie into the collective consciousness. Once the lie is finally exposed, it is already too late, and a large portion of the population will not notice or care when the truth comes out.

Unconfirmed Or Controlled Sources As Fact: Cable news venues often cite information from “unnamed” sources, government sources that have an obvious bias or agenda, or “expert” sources without providing an alternative “expert” view. The information provided by these sources is usually backed by nothing more than blind faith.

Calculated Omission:
Otherwise known as “cherry picking” data. One simple piece of information or root item of truth can derail an entire disinfo news story, so instead of trying to gloss over it, they simply pretend as if it doesn’t exist. When the fact is omitted, the lie can appear entirely rational. This tactic is also used extensively when disinformation agents and crooked journalists engage in open debate.

Distraction, And The Manufacture Of Relevance: Sometimes the truth wells up into the public awareness regardless of what the media does to bury it. When this occurs their only recourse is to attempt to change the public’s focus and thereby distract them from the truth they were so close to grasping. The media accomplishes this by “over-reporting” on a subject that has nothing to do with the more important issues at hand. Ironically, the media can take an unimportant story, and by reporting on it ad nauseum, cause many Americans to assume that because the media won’t shut-up about it, it must be important!

Dishonest Debate Tactics: Sometimes, men who actually are concerned with the average American’s pursuit of honesty and legitimate fact-driven information break through and appear on T.V. However, rarely are they allowed to share their views or insights without having to fight through a wall of carefully crafted deceit and propaganda. Because the media know they will lose credibility if they do not allow guests with opposing viewpoints every once in a while, they set up and choreograph specialized T.V. debates in highly restrictive environments which put the guest on the defensive, and make it difficult for them to clearly convey their ideas or facts.

TV pundits are often trained in what are commonly called “Alinsky Tactics.” Saul Alinsky was a moral relativist, and champion of the lie as a tool for the “greater good”; essentially, a modern day Machiavelli. His “Rules for Radicals” were supposedly meant for grassroots activists who opposed the establishment and emphasized the use of any means necessary to defeat one’s political opposition. But is it truly possible to defeat an establishment built on lies, by use of even more elaborate lies, and by sacrificing one’s ethics? In reality, his strategies are the perfect format for corrupt institutions and governments to dissuade dissent from the masses. Today, Alinsky’s rules are used more often by the establishment than by its opposition.
Alinsky’s Strategy: Win At Any Cost, Even If You Have To Lie

Alinsky’s tactics have been adopted by governments and disinformation specialists across the world, but they are most visible in TV debate. While Alinsky sermonized about the need for confrontation in society, his debate tactics are actually designed to circumvent real and honest confrontation of opposing ideas with slippery tricks and diversions. Alinsky’s tactics, and their modern usage, can be summarized as follows:

1) Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.

We see this tactic in many forms. For example, projecting your own movement as mainstream, and your opponent’s as fringe. Convincing your opponent that his fight is a futile one. Your opposition may act differently, or even hesitate to act at all, based on their perception of your power. How often have we heard this line: “The government has predator drones. There is nothing the people can do now…” This is a projection of exaggerated invincibility designed to elicit apathy from the masses.

2) Never go outside the experience of your people, and whenever possible, go outside of the experience of the enemy.

Don’t get drawn into a debate about a subject you do not know as well as or better than your opposition. If possible, draw them into such a situation instead. Go off on tangents. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty in your opposition. This is commonly used against unwitting interviewees on cable news shows whose positions are set up to be skewered. The target is blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address. In television and radio, this also serves to waste broadcast time to prevent the target from expressing his own position.

3) Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.

The objective is to target the opponent’s credibility and reputation by accusations of hypocrisy. If the tactician can catch his opponent in even the smallest misstep, it creates an opening for further attacks, and distracts away from the broader moral question.

4) Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.

“Ron Paul is a crackpot.” “Gold bugs are crazy.” “Constitutionalists are fringe extremists.” Baseless ridicule is almost impossible to counter because it is meant to be irrational. It infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage. It also works as a pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

5) A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.

The popularization of the term “Teabaggers” is a classic example; it caught on by itself because people seem to think it’s clever, and enjoy saying it. Keeping your talking points simple and fun helps your side stay motivated, and helps your tactics spread autonomously, without instruction or encouragement.

6) A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.

See rule No. 5. Don’t become old news. If you keep your tactics fresh, it’s easier to keep your people active. Not all disinformation agents are paid. The “useful idiots” have to be motivated by other means. Mainstream disinformation often changes gear from one method to the next and then back again.

7) Keep the pressure on with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.

Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. Never give the target a chance to rest, regroup, recover or re-strategize. Take advantage of current events and twist their implications to support your position. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

8) The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

This goes hand in hand with Rule No. 1. Perception is reality. Allow your opposition to expend all of its energy in expectation of an insurmountable scenario. The dire possibilities can easily poison the mind and result in demoralization.

9) The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

The objective of this pressure is to force the opposition to react and make the mistakes that are necessary for the ultimate success of the campaign.

10) If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside.

As grassroots activism tools, Alinsky tactics have historically been used (for example, by labor movements or covert operations specialists) to force the opposition to react with violence against activists, which leads to popular sympathy for the activists’ cause. Today, false (or co-opted) grassroots movements and revolutions use this technique in debate as well as in planned street actions and rebellions (look at Syria for a recent example).

11) The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem. Today, this is often used offensively against legitimate activists, such as the opponents of the Federal Reserve. Complain that your opponent is merely “pointing out the problems.” Demand that they offer not just “a solution”, but THE solution. Obviously, no one person has “the” solution. When he fails to produce the miracle you requested, dismiss his entire argument and all the facts he has presented as pointless.

12) Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it.

Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. The target’s supporters will expose themselves. Go after individual people, not organizations or institutions. People hurt faster than institutions.

The next time you view an MSM debate, watch the pundits carefully, you will likely see many if not all of the strategies above used on some unsuspecting individual attempting to tell the truth.
Internet Disinformation Methods

Internet trolls, also known as “paid posters” or “paid bloggers,” are increasingly and openly being employed by private corporations as well governments, often for marketing purposes and for “public relations” (Obama is notorious for this practice). Internet “trolling” is indeed a fast growing industry.

Trolls use a wide variety of strategies, some of which are unique to the internet, here are just a few:

1. Make outrageous comments designed to distract or frustrate: An Alinsky tactic used to make people emotional, although less effective because of the impersonal nature of the Web.

2. Pose as a supporter of the truth, then make comments that discredit the movement: We have seen this even on our own forums — trolls pose as supporters of the Liberty Movement, then post long, incoherent diatribes so as to appear either racist or insane. The key to this tactic is to make references to common Liberty Movement arguments while at the same time babbling nonsense, so as to make those otherwise valid arguments seem ludicrous by association. In extreme cases, these “Trojan Horse Trolls” have been known to make posts which incite violence — a technique obviously intended to solidify the false assertions of the think tank propagandists like the SPLC, which purports that Constitutionalists should be feared as potential domestic terrorists.

3. Dominate Discussions: Trolls often interject themselves into productive Web discussions in order to throw them off course and frustrate the people involved.

4. Prewritten Responses: Many trolls are supplied with a list or database with pre-planned talking points designed as generalized and deceptive responses to honest arguments. When they post, their words feel strangely plastic and well rehearsed.

5.
False Association: This works hand in hand with item No. 2, by invoking the stereotypes established by the “Trojan Horse Troll.” For example: calling those against the Federal Reserve “conspiracy theorists” or “lunatics”; deliberately associating anti-globalist movements with racists and homegrown terrorists, because of the inherent negative connotations; and using false associations to provoke biases and dissuade people from examining the evidence objectively.

6.
False Moderation: Pretending to be the “voice of reason” in an argument with obvious and defined sides in an attempt to move people away from what is clearly true into a “grey area” where the truth becomes “relative.”

7. Straw Man Arguments: A very common technique. The troll will accuse his opposition of subscribing to a certain point of view, even if he does not, and then attacks that point of view. Or, the troll will put words in the mouth of his opposition, and then rebut those specific words.

Sometimes, these strategies are used by average people with serious personality issues. However, if you see someone using these tactics often, or using many of them at the same time, you may be dealing with a paid internet troll.
Stopping Disinformation

The best way to disarm disinformation agents is to know their methods inside and out. This gives us the ability to point out exactly what they are doing in detail the moment they try to do it. Immediately exposing a disinformation tactic as it is being used is highly destructive to the person utilizing it. It makes them look foolish, dishonest and weak for even making the attempt. Internet trolls most especially do not know how to handle their methods being deconstructed right in front of their eyes and usually fold and run from debate when it occurs.

The truth is precious. It is sad that there are so many in our society who have lost respect for it; people who have traded in their conscience and their soul for temporary financial comfort while sacrificing the stability and balance of the rest of the country in the process.

The human psyche breathes on the air of truth. Without it, humanity cannot survive. Without it, the species will collapse, starving from lack of intellectual and emotional sustenance.

Disinformation does not only threaten our insight into the workings of our world; it makes us vulnerable to fear, misunderstanding, and doubt: all things that lead to destruction. It can drive good people to commit terrible atrocities against others, or even against themselves. Without a concerted and organized effort to defuse mass-produced lies, the future will look bleak indeed.

Dreams and awaking to reality

As I dream I think of all the wonderful things I have experienced in my life, and imagine all the things I would like to do. In my dreams I live in a free world where I build my reality to suit my needs and desires. In my dreams, my wife is there, the sun is rising on the horizon, and my dog perks up his ears as I get out of bed and he rushes to my side for me to let him out.

When I wake up, I realize that I am living my dream. My wife is beside me, and my dog stretches out on the floor after a night’s sleep by or on our bed, and waits patiently for me to let him out. I open the door and he trots out into the morning dew over grass, and I look out to the east as the sun rises, and draw a deep breath to inhale the fresh air. I watch over my dog as he sniffs around at all the new smells, and discovers which creatures have come and gone during the night. He does his business, and marks his territory in a way only dogs know how. I call his name and he gallops back toward the house, I give him a treat and I make myself breakfast.

As I get my lunch ready and pack up my bag for the day, I don my leather jacket, helmet and gloves, and fire up my V-Star. The engine ticks over and I give it a little throttle, I edge out of the driveway and slip through the gears,  cruising down the street at a steady 30mph. Once I get to the main road my senses kick in and I become acutely aware of the sleepy drivers who are usually not paying enough attention to the road. I have avoided my fair share of accidents, and know what to look for now.

I cross the first intersection between my house and my place of work, and now something feels out of place. The sunrise was nice, seeing my wife and dog was comforting, and feeling the thumping V-Twin of my bike smoothly rattle through my body as I twist the throttle gave me all the right sensations that a well oiled machine should. But something is out of place, something doesn’t feel right, something puts me on edge.

Why are there so many security cameras going up on all these intersections? And why am I constantly looking down at my speedometer, instead of putting 100% focus on the road and others around me? Why do I feel this sense of being watched, of being judged, of being sized up like a meal? Why do I feel like I am evading some bird of pray, as if I were being hunted?

I realize that things are not right in this country. We have decended into a police state. Yesterday I wrote about a new book coming out, one that defies the corrupt policemen and their puppet masters. All these new cameras being set up, and all the police cruisers patrolling around, they are not there for our safety. They are there to tax us through citations, and to enslave us if we do not comply.

The DUI checkpoints that are being set up are not to stop drink drivers, but to prepare the police for martial law, and to get them used to arresting people without due cause.

We are now living in a police state, but the dreams I have and the reality I have are still very similar, and I still create my own reality, but the poison of ignorance and submission are seeping in all around us, and the outlook gets murkier by the second.

I have woken up now, and do not wish to go back to sleep on reality. I wish to pursue my dreams, and wish that everyone else be able to do the same, without fear of being held back by others, like pray before a predator, because there are looters and moochers out there who cannot and will not provide for themselves.

Your hard work is your own, and you should be able to keep the produce that you create, it is not someone else’s for the taking, no matter what the excuse may be.

And for those who would try and use people’s happiness against them, to use their family members, or to take their possessions to teach them a lesson on how not to stand up and defend themselves. I will warn you. Once a man has had everything taken away from him, he becomes unstoppable. That is why Obi-Wan say’s “if you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine”. There are thousands of people out there right now who feel that way. The ripple effect is being felt around the country and indeed the world right now. Those who practice injustice will be held accountable. In time, bad deeds will catch up with you, and the ends never justify the means. You will be judged for your actions.

As for me, I’d like to live in a world where I can freely trade with others, where I can live my life without having to bother anyone, or mooch off them. I am quite content to leave others alone.

To those who wish to silence the individuals who are leading the charge back toward liberty and away from tyranny, I will say: Remember the Alamo, though all the soldiers died, their deaths were avenged, and victory was had. You may try to shut down websites, you may try to silence the critical thinking minds on this earth and in this country. But this will end in failure. Societies cannot function without intelligent people at the helm.

So to those who are concerned, who feel the same way I do; that something is out of place, I say: Stand up for your rights and protect your dreams. Live the reality that you see fit, and flush out the sewage that is currently lining our streets. Learn what true liberty is, not just blind patriotism. Learn the constitution, and remember  that violence is not necessarily even when presented with it on our doorstep. Everything starts with the mind.

Dreams and ideas are directly intertwined, and no police state, no surveillance, no cops, no politicians, no jail cell, not even death or execution can hold back an idea or a dream.

“An idea who’s time has come cannot be stopped by any army or any government” – Ron Paul

What are your dreams? Are you living the way you want to? Are you finding happiness each day?

I have found happiness, but I see those around me who are controlled by fear, and will do anything to survive off the backs of others, instead of providing for themselves in order to thrive.

Ask yourself this question; Is this Martin Luther King’s Dream that we are living in right now, or is it becoming Adolf Hitler’s fascist nightmare?

You decide for yourself. I will stand up and speak out for as long as I can.

I know my dream. Do you know yours?

Americans have forgotten freedom

My wife and I started out with nothing but each other. Not only did we come from different countries, but we were not given everything we wanted as teenagers. Neither my parents nor hers gave us tuition for university. Both of us are very intelligent, and we have put our minds to good use. We both work full time and run a company together.

Earlier today my wife was working at her store where she is an assistant manager. She and one of the associates got in a conversation and the guy said that “the government should just give everyone a million dollars.” To which my wife replied “where do you think the government gets that money?” The guy did not know, and my wife told him that the money is taken from you and I, from all of us, and redistributed after the government employees have taken their considerable cut. So really our wealth is diminished every time we are taxed more and more money is spent. I could expand her point further by saying that the more money is printed out of thin air and handed out to everyone, the more value it loses, and no mater how much more money you pump into the system, all you’ll do is saturate the market and there will be no value and no use for the money, just like in the Weimar Republic in post WWI Germany.

Back to my wife and I. Now we could have gone to college with or without financial support from both sets of parents. In fact, we actually looked at attending an American college shortly after we got married. The biggest reason we decided not to attend was financial. Neither of us can justify going 100’s of thousands of dollars into debt for a ‘quality’ American education. Recently I met up with one of my old friends in London when we went to visit. He graduated from Cambridge and told us that he only paid 3000 pounds a year ($5000) for his tuition. Now I’m sorry, but only Yale and Harvard can compare to the likes of Cambridge or Oxford. Most American colleges now run in the $10’s of thousands a year now, and the quality certainly isn’t there. American colleges have been saturated by government backed student loans, and you can now get a bachelors degree in almost everything including hairdressing. I’m sorry, but unless it holds a true quality of the mind in what you have studied, it’s not worth the paper its printed on. There are plenty of good community colleges for craftsmanship, and I have always favored apprenticeships over ‘shop-class’.

America has not only lost its sense of value, but many of its citizens do not even know what it means to be free. They do not know how to simply say ‘no’.

The American empire has expanded so far that people now allow themselves to be patted down at airports, stopped at ‘sobriety’ checkpoints (Nazi-lite anyone?) and stripped of almost all their constitutional rights on a daily bases. They openly believe almost everything they hear on TV, including the heavily biased propaganda machine that is American News channels. Americans are so afraid of losing their jobs, so inclined to ‘work hard’ and pay off their debts. Debts which are incurred under the corrupt banking and government cartel known as the Federal Reserve, money which is stolen from the people through taxation and then lent back out to the people in paper money at interest.

The problems with America run so deep, that the nation is deeply divided. It is not simply a case of left vs right either. Many conservatives, though perhaps more open minded to the idea of the constitution and limited government, still believe in many big government programs. Programs such as the overly expanded and stretched out military, restoring the draft (involuntary servitude anyone?) in the name of honor and sacrifice. They believe that a progressive such as Mitt Romney will save the day against the dreaded Obama, and yet forget that they both stand for the same unlimited government.

There are many wars going on right now in the Middle East, and this country is stretched thin in many areas, from the economy, to the military. Right now our battlefield is a philosophical one.

Where does the government get its money from? All of it is stolen from you. Government is supposed to be our servant. It is supposed to serve us in basic areas only to maintain limited law and order.

Ask yourself these questions:

Where does the government get its money from?

Is my purpose in life to make the most out of it for myself and my family, or be a slave to a collective?

Am I supposed to serve the government, or myself?

Am I not by serving myself, and protecting myself, really protecting others too?

Or

Am I supposed to listen to what others tell me to do, and please the collective driven by leaders in the shadows?

Watch the movie ‘The Matrix’ and realize how it reflects on our current society. I took the ‘red pill’ a long time ago, and the rabbit hole is a long way down. Question is, are you ready to take it too? Or just take the blue pill, turn the news channel on tv back on and fall asleep?

Americans have forgotten freedom, because as I watched the fireworks going off on July 4th this year, I couldn’t understand what they were celebrating any more. Will all the intrusions of government in our everyday affairs, what freedom is really left? What I see around me right now mirrors that of the British oppression of the 1700’s, or that of Nazi Germany of the 1930’s.

Are you ready to wake up and declare true independence? Or have you forgotten too?

The Revolution continues

The mainstream media claims that Mitt Romney has the GOP nomination, we are being told to pick between the lesser of two evils. Even the son of the greatest presidential candidate in history has flipped sides and decided to support the ‘presumptive nominee’ But the Revolution continues! You see, the Ron Paul Revolution is a philosophical one. It is the idea of self liberty and self determination. For much of the last one-hundred years the US population has been sidetracked into left vs right politicking, and has been left with the choice of ‘the lesser of two evils’.

I will not vote for Mitt Romney, I will not vote for him even with Rand Paul’s support. I will only vote for a man of principle, and that is Ron Paul. What is the point in voting for Obama-lite? Many of Obama’s policies and legislation are Romney inspired. Why would you go out and vote for another progressive? Why would you vote for a known flip-flopper? Why would you vote for another fraud, a snake in sheep’s clothing?

I’ve seen bumper stickers and comments that say that those who voted for Obama are idiots. Well, do you think that voting for McCain made you a saint? The John McCain who supported the bailouts, the wars of aggression in the middle east, and who co-wrote the NDAA act? Do you think that John McCain the progressive would have been much better than Obama the progressive?

All those on the left that say that those who voted for Bush (the counterfeit conservative) are idiots, do you really think that John Kerry would have been better, or Al Gore? Al Gore, the guy who sells the idea of Global Warming, and makes millions trading ‘carbon credits’.

Do you not see that the media steers you into choosing between ‘the lesser of two evils’ on a consistent basis?

When I went to the very first Tea Party in Cincinnati back in early 2009, I was impressed when a man made a speech about how he was tired of voting for ‘the lesser of two evils’. And now I see that the Tea Party, along with its supports such as Rand Paul and Glenn Beck, have abandoned their principles and are now supporting a progressive that is worse than George Bush!

Where are your principles?

Do you really think you’re going to make all that much difference when you throw your support behind a ‘chosen’ candidate who is firmly a part of the establishment? The same establishment that has given you all the rules and regulations, taxes, wars, and liberty stripping security that we now feel under the suffocating pillow of bloated government.

So I ask you, will you vote for another establishment candidate, or will you spread the word of Ron Paul? The word of liberty and the constitution. Or will you become another tool in the New World Order’s toolbox of useful idiots? Blindly believing that if you support their ‘chosen’ candidate, that you are somehow aiding the cause of freedom?

Don’t get swept up into the crowd, stand as an individual for liberty and spread the ideas of the consititution and of self worth. Don’t go along with the ‘mainstream’.

We still have time, and Ron Paul may well sweep the floor at the GOP convention in August in a similar way to how Ronald Reagan did in 1980. Soon the GOP and the democrats will realize that currently; neither have the young vote and that Ron Paul does. We want to live in a free and prosperous society, and we do not like the debt and burdens of slavery currently being handed to us.

The Ron Paul Revolution of liberty and restoring this country continues!

“An idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or any government!” – Ron Paul

Quality of life

I’ve been back in the US for three weeks now, which is almost twice as long as my trip to England, and yet I can’t help but draw comparisons and get annoyed at how far this country has slipped from ‘the land of the free’. When I first came here I felt that it was more open than England and had more opportunities. Indeed when my wife and I got married we decided to stay in the US because of this very reason. The house prices and cost of living in England far outweighed that of the US. On our trip I was astounded to learn that prices had remained reasonable in the UK and yet here food prices have all but doubled in the few years I have been here.

The thought of moving back is there, but I still love this country despite all its faults, and I’ve already sunk my roots in. To me it does not really matter where I live and I have discovered that I am not particularly loyal to any one country. What I am loyal to though is an idea. That Idea is freedom and self liberty, the ability to do what you want and to make what you want of yourself. That is why you see me supporting Ron Paul and trashing the establishment. This ‘establishment’ has grown like a fungus on the statue of what used to be a great idea of liberty. Lately all you see is the basic shape with the moss growing all over it. I’m sorry that it looks ugly as I strip away sections of it, but truth is truth, and I will show it to the world for all that it is, the good, bad, ugly and the upsetting truths about where we are and what we have done.

One of my old work friends said it best when he said that he’s from ‘the party of leave me the hell alone’. He was for all intents and purposes a conservative and voted so. And yet he did not care that his neighbors were gay. He said that so long as they were not intimate in front of him that it didn’t particularly bother him. ‘What you do in your house is none of my business’ he would say, and that ‘if they could find a preacher who was willing to do the service, I don’t care if they get married either’. This coming from a guy born in deep eastern Kentucky, really has a lot to say about freedom and not being prejudice. He embodies all the great things about the appellation culture. Recently I went to a firing range with him and he let me try out some of his rifles.

As you can see that is another sport I enjoy here that I cannot do in the UK. Though in the UK you are treated like an adult everywhere you go, and can even drink in public places including on trains. Unfortunately here we now have ‘sobriety checkpoints’ which awfully represent the checkpoints of Nazi Germany during its heyday.

So it does not matter where you live, so long as you stand up for what is right, and make the most out of life for yourself and the ones that you care about.

As for me, I’ll stay here as long as I can. I’ll defend liberty in any way I can, and teach others who are willing to listen. Eventually a time will come to either fight or to shrug. I suggest you read Atlas Shrugged so that you can point out the looters on both sides of the political spectrum. There is a virtue in selfishness and you should always take care of yourself first. Never allow yourself to become a victim of ‘the system’ and never tie your own chains.

The quality of life is whatever we make it, so make it a good one, and ask yourself the question ‘what is freedom?’
