We all knew it was unlikely that Ron Paul would be elected at the GOP convention. Mitt Romney’s band of thugs managed to strip too many delegates from Ron Paul by dirty tricks, and the establishment had its way.
Ron Paul’s Maine delegates erupt after getting barred from Republican convention:
But the revolution continues!
Think of Ron Paul as Obi Wan from Star Wars when he warns Darth Vader “if you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine” The shameless way that the Romney camp has stripped Ron Paul of his delegates from multiple states, and the shameless way that the establishment GOP has prevented him from speaking at the convention will reverberate throughout the nation.
We have already had many successful battles in the face of unbridled tyranny. Bones have been broken. We have been locked out and barred from our own party. But life always finds a way, and so will liberty.
Ron Paul’s latest battle is over, but the war is not lost.
And there is another…
Gary Johnson is registered in all 50 states for the Libertarian Party. He was Republican Governor of New Mexico and vetoed over 700 bills while in office. He was an entrepreneur and created a very successful company employing over a thousand workers. He understands true liberty, he’ll balance the budget, and bring our troops home.
We the supporters of true capitalism and true liberty in the Ron Paul revolution will lead the charge after the shenanigans of the 2012 election are all said and done, no matter who becomes president. Ron Paul standing up for principles is a far stronger message for liberty than giving an edited speech at the convention.
Sorry GOP, but the establishment days are over, you just dug your own grave. Perhaps we’ll revive you next time around, if you don’t get in our way. The liberty movement is growing. We will not be stopped, freedom will be restored in this nation, and the tyrants will fall in our wake. This new wave of liberty is growing every day, and it will not be stopped. “An idea who’s time has come, cannot be stopped by any army or any government!” – Ron Paul
The Ron Paul revolution is not over, it’s only just begun!
I hadn’t attended a meeting in a few months due to being busy with side projects, and being split on ideas of government. I was finding out more and more just how corrupt the conservative leaders are, and was even questioning whether elements of the Tea Party had sold out.
However, the evening’s meeting went well, and the subject matter for the event was about blog posts and alternative media. I was given the chance to make a short speech about my blog and why I do it.
During the event we heard from from Peter Bronson, former editorial editor from the Cincinnati Enquirer about how the media has changed and how it effects politics.
After all the speakers were done talking, I got to meet several people and we had a nice chat about libertarianism, and why its important to stand up for the issues, no matter what party you support.
I got to talk to Bob Coogan, who is a libertarian running for Ohio State House in the 52nd district. He and I talked for a while, and agreed on almost everything.
One of the other guy’s I got to talk to said that during the 2008 elections, he felt like he was at a train station and he saw a big red train with ‘republican’ written on it, and a big blue train that had ‘Democrat’ written on it. He said that both trains were running parallel on the track and the only difference was that the D train was running at 100 miles per hour, and the R train was running at 50 miles per hour. His analogy made perfect sense to me, and we talked more on how we need to get the R train to be moving back toward liberty if we are to change things around for the better.
I enjoyed listening to the other speakers, and Peter Bronson certainly has a lot of wisdom accumulated from his days in journalism. Another guy I got to listen to was Chris Littleton. He said that the republicans laid waste to this country during the 2000’s, and that the Obama administration came along and finished the job. I agree with what he said 100%. Our problems lie on both sides of the track, and we really need to clean house in order to set things right again.
Here are the blog sites of the people who gave speeches during the event:
It really made me feel good to hear so many people voicing their opinions and standing up for their rights. We really are the new main stream media, so get out there and write!
Don’t be afraid to get involved; libertarians will help steer the ship in grassroots organizations such as the Tea Party’s, since their beliefs in limited and constitutional government are similar to many conservative thought patterns. Libertarians tend to use sound logic and critical thinking and can help the more gun ho conservatives in getting better fiscal and constitutional minded leaders elected.
All in all, I had a great evening, and I saw for myself that the Tea Party is alive and well!
Wars are expensive. Not only are they bloody and brutal, but the costs of maintaining them always drags down a nation’s wealth and resources. As of right now, we have over one hundred military bases around the world, and are engaged in a number of conflicts. Including the war in Afghanistan, and using drones and hellfire missiles to kill people in Pakistan and many other middle eastern and African countries.
Our elections are now completely fraudulent. In the 2000 presidential election we caught our first taste of this. And during the primaries this year, there have been many reports and law suits filled over the GOP’s handling of the nomination process. There are accusations of Ron Paul’s votes being counted as Romney’s, and counties that weren’t even allowed to vote. It seems that the GOP can’t even play by its own rules.
When I came to this country, I learned a lot about freedom and individual liberties. It’s the kind of knowledge that once you know, you don’t forget. In fact, once you know it, you begin to espouse it, and you can’t stop talking about it. Once you know what true liberty and freedom is, it gets stuck in your veins, and you’ll fight to maintain it.
When I first moved here, and after the 2008 elections, I tuned in to fox news and discovered Glenn Beck. Up until the beginning of this year I loved the guy and everything that he stood for. But then things stopped adding up. Something seemed wrong to me. Some of the actions he was taking and things he was saying didn’t make sense, they didn’t add up. I felt like he was going against the very principles he stood for. After discovering these things, I came to the conclusion that he is either completely miscalculating with the information he receives, or that he is an agent of misinformation, here to take our thoughts and upsets at the government, and flip them right back around to continue the establishment, to further their agendas. The problem with people like Glenn Beck is that while they are right in most aspects. They are also wrong in many others, and this leads us into a false dichotomy, and does nothing to help our reasoning skills. Always take what you hear from others with a pinch of salt, don’t take it as prophesy.
Corruption is rife in this country. Of course no country is void of it, but you see it even on a local level here. There are very few politicians in power who do not accept lobbying from one group or another. Congress is now no longer concerned with our well being, but completely concerned with furthering their own interests, their own profits and their own convoluted agendas.
The corrupt politicians, the crony businessmen, the sold out media, and all the special interests groups are all working hand in hand for their own agendas, while looting the wealth of the nation. This is a cycle that cannot continue and will collapse in on itself, taking many innocent people with it. If we cannot put a stop to it, we will go down as a nation, whether we self destruct as a police state, or fall into total anarchy, our future looks extremely bleak, if we continue on our present path.
For all their current faults I still admire The tea party. I like it when groups of people get together and try to hammer out solutions to pressing problems. The local tea party groups in my area have had much success at the state and local level.
The problems that face my generation are unprecedented in our country’s history. It is no longer a simple case of voting for one side or the other. It will take a great deal of effort and awakening by the older generations to help steer our country back onto the path of liberty and prosperity.
Paul Ryan is a propaganda stunt to get people to swallow the ‘Mitt Romney pill’ and ‘pull the lever’ to oust Barack Obama. But it is backfireing. No one pays attention to the mainstream media anymore, and people are starting to look to the internet for the truth. Even the Zionist puppet master Glenn Beck cannot dupe enough people into thinking Ryan is a saint. All you have to do is go to youtube or sites like this and find all the articles and videos of Paul Ryan voting for liberty stripping bills such as the NDAA act, the patriot act and multiple billion dollar bailouts.
If you think for a second that my generation, the veterans, and all the true liberty loving patriots are going to concede to the likes of Mitt Romney, think again. Rand Paul just found out the hard way. The establishment is not interested in any of us.
The future of politics in America, will come with the shrugging of the establishment altogether. We are no longer able to tolerate the lesser of two evils from a completely bankrupt and corrupt system.
The future of the country will lie in exposing the truth and banding together to bring our liberties back. Whether Ron Paul is successful at the convention or not, the future lies in the individuals who will do the work that the establishment is not willing to do.
The Romney/Ryan stunt will most likely fail, and we’ll be faced with another four years of Barack Obama. But at least we will have a chance to pick up the pieces after the election process is all said and done, and start building the country from the grassroots up again. And the Tea Party and other groups will realize that siding with the establishment will no longer work, and that we will have to push our agendas of liberty, come hell or high water.
In the mean time, we still have a few days left to get Ron Paul through the convention. Let’s pray that he gets through, and good luck to all the patriots attending the gathering in Tampa!
Why is it, that before the GOP convention has even begun, that everywhere you go, you hear groups calling out ‘we must unite around Mitt Romney’?
Why is that? I’ve pointed out the many reasons why we shouldn’t vote for him throughout my various posts, and the many things truly wrong with this country, and the subjects we should be concentrating on. But why are we being told ahead of the game, that we should vote for this man?
Is it to quieten our questions? Is it to silence the dissent? Is it to ram through the agendas of the GOP establishment, instead of cave in to pressures from Tea Party organizations?
I think there is something very sinister behind this current movement. There may only be two weeks before the convention, and there is a chance Mitt Romney will win. But in the mean time, why shut down all debate?
Shouldn’t we be debating among ourselves on what the best policies should be, and weeding out the bad candidates? Shouldn’t we be sharpening our blades upon the questions from liberty minded people?
(The above picture is disturbing, its supposed to be thought provoking. Think about how much destruction has happened from within during these president’s terms.)
Why are we being told to ‘unite’ behind one front? What if that front is wrong? What if that front is just as bad as the one we’re fighting? What happens when people like myself quit speaking out against these infamies?
What happens if we continue to be led by blind nationalism as a countermeasure against Barack Obama’s clear destruction of the country within?
What if this is all a game to pit us against each other?
Blind nationalism is what led to the rise of the Third Reich. Germany too had traitors from within, but when you up the anti on both sides of the spectrum, you only end up with a wider war, or complete and utter conformity, with fear as its only means of control.
I have mentioned the site because Mike Rivero does a great job at displaying hundreds of articles a day from various alternative news sites, that you won’t see on the ‘mainstream media’. Recently, viewings of such channels as CNN have plummeted so far that ‘what really happened’ has over taken over in number of viewers/readers.
Also, you have seen me mention false flags and Zionism.
The Olympics, while being held not too far from where I was born, may well be a major distraction, and become a false flag event. Never in my life have I seen Britain so militarized for any event.
All the events that are going on right now, seem to be adding up. I think people such as Glenn Beck, Alex Jones and others all have peices of the puzzle, but that they don’t completely add up. I think Mike Rivero is closer than anyone right now to understanding ‘what really happened’.
I have studied the American Revolution and the declaration of independence, and I have studied the ‘tea party’ groups and ‘occupy wall street’ groups. It seems a little too convienient that one ‘side’ is declared to be ‘conservative’ and the other ‘side’ declared to be ‘liberal’. I agree with the Tea Party groups that we are taxed too much and that government has too much control. But I also agree with the Occupiers that there are criminals in some of the banks and in government. There are members of the 1% who do need to be brought to justice. But I have no problem with capitalism, I do not want some kind of socialist society. Equally, I’m not interested in serving in the military or praising God every sunday, as many of the Tea Party group advocate. I think what both groups are really grasping at; is that they want government off their backs and want to be free to create their dreams again. I believe that sooner (hopefully with the election of Ron Paul) or later, there will be another revolution in this country. Between the individualists and the collectivists.
I would say, check your premise. What are you actually supporting? Are you part of a collective, or a band of individuals, working together for mutual advantage?
And as for the media and current going’s on, I would say, as Sherlock Holmes did; “when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth”
These are but a blip of information of what is going on right now. Take each with a pinch of salt, and try to keep an open mind. An emotional electorate will elect anyone, and allow anything to happen.
The world is waking up, and it’s doing so in the form of blogs like these (perhaps that’s why so many members of congress wanted PIPA and SOPA to go through, to silence the masses)
My jaw dropped in disbelief yesterday when the votes were read out at the local tea party gathering. 56% voted that the local tea party support Rick Santorum! Thank god we needed a 66% majority vote to actually endorse a candidate, otherwise I may not have been able to bring myself back to another meeting. I honestly could not believe that over half of the people in that room were supporting Rick Santorum, a guy who stands for big government, and massive deficit spending.
Here was a group of people, who were for small limited government, and had done so many great things on the state and local level, but somehow managed to completely miss the point on the national level. Were they really so misguided? Were they really so misinformed? Or were they really crazy enough to believe that Rick Santoram is a fiscal conservative?
The sad conclusion I made after I got home, my head spinning, was the sad fact that many of these people were greatly misinformed, and most of whom probably watch fox news each night; which puts as much spin on the facts as any progressive channel.
For anyone who was at the Tea Party last night, who is reading this. Please look into each individual candidate’s past. Please look at what they really stand for.
I’m still completely stunned that so many people could get behind such a counterfeit conservative. Did they learn nothing from George W Bush’s term? Are they really so brainwashed to think that the republicans are the custodians of all freedom, and the democrats are the anti-Christ?
The sad truth is that many of them are simply misinformed and misguided. They’re not crazy kooks, they just want to do what is right and get our country back on track. That is why I challenge everyone and every group in this blog. It is not about left vs right, it is about liberty and freedom. That is why I point out all the flaws, and the strengths in everything I write about. We cannot move forward unless we study all the angles, and are willing to see others view points.
Last night was not all bad though, there were a couple of great speakers, two of whom I admired, and one of whom I will be voting for later this year. I’ll talk about them both later in the week. I simply had to get this article off my chest. Rick Santorum! Really? That’s what the majority of the room choose as a ‘fiscal conservative’ who stands for liberty and limited government? Wow! What a shocker, we really have our work cut out for us!
Education, education, education! Thank god that this tea party wants to educate its members and families on the constitution. Perhaps I can point out the strengths and weaknesses of candidates, on both national and local issues, so at least we can start digging away at the fundamental problems.
If Rick Santorum is what the majority of the room thinks is a good candidate for limited government, we’re in trouble.
It’s time to take a stance and stand up for principles, not the establishment.
Wake up people; do your own research and stop following the lamestream media. The ‘mainstream’ does not have our best interests at heart. You do.
I believe that the current establishment of left vs right is a racket designed to steal our thoughts away from the truth.
Before Barack Obama came along, we were not talking about progessivism. Before Glenn Beck exposed it, we did not know about it. And why are were we not currently talking about all the ills from George W Bush’s term? Why did the democrats and the ‘left’ put down the wars until President Obama came along, and yet you do not hear about it so much now?
I believe that the left vs right is a stupid game that no-one wins.
I am libertarian because it is the only political course that makes sense. It is the course that the founders of this country took, and it worked well for them. As it will for us, if we return to our values.
There are many different views on libertarianism. I have attended Tea Parties in my local area, and I agree with all of the small government rhetoric, but I do have my reservations. I believe in small government and individual freedoms. If the tea party leans more toward libertarianism, I’m all for it. If it falls back toward stateism, it becomes a waste of time. What does your local Tea Party represent? And is there a way you can help steer them fully toward the tree of liberty?
The difference between republicans and democrats is a lot like two opposing football teams. They both have plenty of commentary, but their tactics are essentially the same, and their goal is to win. The trophy is almost never in the interests of the people.
Are you a libertarian? This video shows what libertarians believe in:
Libertarianism should be the goal of both democrats and republicans. To move up toward liberty, rather than down toward stateism and government control. Let us educate the world, so that we might build a future with freedom, rather than destroy the present, so that the future looks bleak.
I am a libertarian because I epitomize liberty. I believe in individual freedom for all mankind, no matter what creed, sexual orientation or beliefs. I don’t care what your habits are, or what you do with your life. If you ruin it, that is your fault, not mine nor the states. I only care if you harm others. If you do not, you should be free to do what you please.
What do you believe in? How did you score on the test? Are you libertarian, liberal, conservative, centrist or stateist? And what are you going to do about it?
I love people like Jesse Ventura. He is not afraid to go after the truth. There are too many people who are worried that society will label them as a kook, that they will not look into ‘conspiracy theories’. Now many conspiracy theories are not true, but the disturbing fact is, that many of them are true.
I like Jessie Ventura because he is not afraid to look deeply into these problems, and when he discovers disturbing facts, he pushes on and digs deeper.
He is not afraid to get into arguments with big name figures, because he knows that he is doing his patriotic duty by standing up for liberty over the popular left vs right rhetoric.
Jessie Ventura has served his country, he is a hero of this nation, and he is not afraid to point out chicken hawks.
Jessie Ventura, like myself, like Ron Paul, and many other sane people in this world, is not afraid to point out that Iran is not a threat to this nation, but that we are indeed a threat to Iran.
If I were Iran, I’d probably be building nukes too, wouldn’t you? After all, we haven’t attacked North Korea for that very reason, and they are more of a threat to us than Iran. Oh but I forgot, Iran is sitting upon millions of barrels worth of oil.
Do not be afraid to look into conspiracies. Do not be afraid to go against the grain, to speak out against both liberals and conservatives.
Think about this: Many people my age voted for Obama because he spoke of ‘hope and change’, many people my age (and unfortunately many older people) didn’t realize that this was a hollow promise, that the hope and change was not the direction we all wanted to go in. After eight years of George W Bush, people were sick of the direction the country was heading in. We had two wars, massive debts and government spending, and our rights were being stripped away from us by such unconstitutional legislation as the patriot act. Of course we wanted hope and change. Many on the right are so quick to jump on the ‘blame the progressives’ bandwagon, that they marginalize the youth who voted for Obama, who so easily would have voted for someone else of the same caliber on the right (think Ronald Reagan). Obama gave nice speeches, personally I didn’t like the substance, but hey, many people lapped it up. They didn’t want a no-good progressive like McCain, who was a carbon copy of George W Bush, and quite accurately labeled by many as ‘McSame’. Of course people voted for Obama. It wasn’t because everyone of them was a radical lefty. It was because the other candidate offered nothing new or exciting. Those who voted for McCain did not realize how much of a progressive he was, they just wanted to have a republican in the house, so the evil left could not take over. They didn’t realize that the right was infested also. Do you really like all the things that George Bush did during his presidency? Do you actually like the patriot act? Have you read it? From the radical right (yes I’m going to call it that) we got Guantanamo Bay, which goes completely against everything this country stands for. What good is our country without the law and order that it stands upon? We got the patriot act, which is about as unpatriotic as any bill I’ve ever seen. We got two wars in the middle east from countries that were no threat to us. And we got huge deficit spending. So everyone voted for the guy who was shouting ‘hope’ and ‘change’. The landslide victory was not because everyone is a socialist. It was because everyone was tired of the crony capitalists from the radical right. I’ve spoken to so many people my age who regret that they voted for Obama. They are not socialists, they are not loopy liberals. Whenever I do hear them talk about the government helping them out in some way, I am very quick to point out that the government never does anything to really help you. I’ve helped to persuade many people to become more libertarian. They voted against conservatives because they were corrupt and crony, and now they will vote against liberals who are corrupt and crony also. That is why I admire people like Jessie Ventura, that is why I admire people in the Tea Parties. I admire anyone who stands up against government, because government is the cause of almost all problems, not the solution. My purpose with this blog is to help wake people up, and to let them see that a stage has been set, for them to fight amongst each other and tear each other down, rather than build each other up, so that they might take down the very framers who set this ugly stage for their own benefits.
And remember that people like Jessie Ventura, no matter how strange they seem, are patriots, and all patriots point out the truth, no matter how controversial and scary it might be.
Do you want to see Obama defeated in this year’s presidential election?
Do you want a leader who adheres to the constitution of the United States, or just another teleprompter in chief?
Do you want a strong leader, who will arm wrestle his way through legislation, or a leader who will set this country back on the track of independence and freedom?
My friends, I love freedom, and in the years that I have lived in this great country, I have done a great deal of research into what it means to be an American, and what it means to have liberty.
During the republican debates, I have found only one good candidate for office. There is only one who will put this country back on track, only one who will restore this country to what it should be, and only one who has your freedom in mind.
His name is Ron Paul, and I endorse him to become the next president of the United States.
Now the media would have you believe that Mitt Romney is the front runner, and that he would be the best contestant against President Obama. But would he be the best person to put in the white house? Sure…he’d probably be better than Obama…but given Romney’s flip flop nature, how can we trust him? Romney has lived a life of leisure, and has been groomed for success. But all he’s ever done is loot from other companies, stripped assets, and bloated government.
Newt Gingrich, who is the media’s current flavor of the week, has benefited from certain legislation and would endorse the police state.
For Mitt Romney to become the republican nominee all he needs to do is sit tight, keep his mouth shut and look pretty. Don’t you think he’s quite handsome? Look at that lovely smile…reminds me of someone else I know.
There is one candidate who stands in his way: Ron Paul
No other candidate has a proven background like Ron Paul, and no-one else is standing up toward the special interest media, and corporate groups.
In order to get rid of Ron Paul, the media does its best to blank out Ron Paul, they’ll silence anyone who stands up for him:
They do their best to discredit him, and now that Ron Paul is gaining momentum, they’ll use anything they can to stop him. They’ll even prop up the other candidates and use them as cannon fodder, to protect their chosen one, the illustrious Mitt Romney.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Mitt Romney is not unstoppable; he is not even very popular. He has a lot of big buck backers, and that is about it. All the other candidates are cannon fodder to use against Ron Paul.
Here is an article I read a couple days ago about Mitt Romney’s elect-ability:
Now I’ve heard that Ron Paul is unelectable and he doesn’t have a very good foreign policy.
Well shucks, wasn’t Ronald Reagan ‘unelectable’ also?
Wasn’t Ronald Reagan’s policy to keep the troops home, and rebuild them here on our soil?
Isn’t this country technically bankrupt? At 15 trillion dollars, equivalent to a years output of GDP, do you think we can afford another war? Do you think we can afford to police the world? Do you think we can afford multiple army bases all over the world?
Logic dictates that NO is the only answer.
Do you think it is a good idea to have our troops scattered around the world while the country is going bankrupt? Do you really think another country is going to fill the void and place troops all over the world when America leaves these bases?
Can this country afford another four years of Obama? Can this country afford another teleprompter-in-chief? Can we afford to trust a flip-flopper? Can we afford Romney-Care or Obama-care?
I don’t think this country can withstand much more of these failed polices and big government, from the right or the left.
The only person I see who actually has a concrete plan to fix this nation, to fix the economy, to maintain, preserve and restore freedom is Ron Paul. I don’t think we can afford to allow the media to have us ignore him any more.
For those who love freedom, for those who want a return of independence, for those who wish to return to a smaller government; consider very carefully who you vote for during the primaries.
Here is to freedom and to Ron Paul, whom I believe (if we can get him through the republican primaries) will crush Obama in the debates, and who I believe will not only become the best leader this country has had since Ronald Reagan, but indeed become one of the greatest presidents in history.
