Distracted and divided

Many people are still playing into the fallacy of republicans vs democrats. Does this really matter when our liberties and free markets are at stake?

There is only one candidate in the race for presidency who is for free markets and freedom, and it’s not Mitt Romney.

I get sad when I see political signs in people’s yards for Obama/Biden, it’s sad when people choose to ignore what’s going on around them. I get equally as sad when I see Romney/Ryan yard signs, because those people have learned nothing either.

I see republicans and democrats fighting over silly little issues when there are much larger ones at stake.

Why is it easier for many conservatives to believe Barack Obama is a communist Muslim, than simply a continuation of George W Bush?

Why is it easier for people to believe Romney is a fiscal conservative for small government, than a continuation of big government under Obama?

Why is it that instead of tackling the biggest deficit issue; which is our military spending and countless wars overseas, we are talking about shaving a hair here or a hair there off medicare and medicaid?

The elephant in the room is certainly the deficit, but you don’t hear about bringing the troops home and ending the massive military spending which is crippling this nation.

Why is it more acceptable to cut education and medicine, than our endless wars? Wouldn’t it be better to bring the troops home, slash military spending, cut taxes across the board and then start chipping away at the other issues? Wouldn’t this be a better way to allow individuals to create jobs?

The debates so far have been a complete farce. Oh sure, Romney and Ryan beat their counterparts, but doesn’t that seem like a hollow victory when they are almost identical in their big government agendas?

When we look at the media we see huge bias from both liberal and conservative news. Even in alternative media we have massive spin and bias stories. I believe people like Glenn Beck are masters of misinformation. Glenn talks of lowering the deficit, and yet shrieks whenever we don’t support Israel. A country which we send billions of dollars to every year.

Glenn protects Israel, which threatens Iran on a daily basis, and holds a stockpile itself of over 100 nuclear weapons. And yet demonizes all the Muslim countries, instead of promoting peace and trade.

Why are we not sitting down and looking at the real problems? Why are we continuing to allow ourselves to be played?

Yes, the liberals are starting to represent communism, but the conservatives are starting to resemble the Nazi’s of 1930’s Germany. Neither is acceptable.

Stop being distracted. Stop blaming each other. Look deeper into the issues. Liberty is at stake.

You are being played. Obedience to ‘the system’ only leads down the road to totalitarianism. Use your own mind.

Both the left and the right are controlled by outside influence. Break free of this system of oppression and form your own opinions.

It is not ‘left vs right’ it is ‘them vs us’. The central banks, and the shady people who control them from behind the scenes are the ones running the show. Stop being distracted. We can beat them, but only if you wake up.

Remember, the banks profited from the bloody wars of the 20th century, while millions were slaughtered. We have not had true capitalism since the early 20th century. Gold backed capitalist societies promote freedom. Endlessly printing paper money only leads to economic collapse and tyranny.

Mitt Romney is not going to save this country. Obama was elected for ‘hope and change’ anyone could pin their ideas to that. The same is true of Mitt Romney; people can pin their belief’s that he is a fiscal Conservative, free market man, and a limited government sponsor. In reality, when you look at the numbers, he is a big government spender, a fascist and a big government sponsor.

The shady flip flop nature of Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, and their media accomplices, help paint a bland picture that you can attach your aspirations to. In reality, they are both continuing the big government programs of the Bush administration. Nothing changes from one administration to the next.

So instead of being distracted and divided, you might want to look at the numbers and what is really going on behind the scenes.

There is a man running who would put a stop to all this, but he will only win if you have the courage to get out and vote for him. Romney will not change anything if elected, so don’t vote for him out of fear for more Obama. While he may be a Muslim or a Marxist, that does not change the fact that he has continued almost all of Bush’s policies, and continued to move us along a path of empire and totalitarianism.

The only way to break free of this is to do something drastic.

I am no longer distracted, and my fellow patriots will not be divided. For my generation it really is liberty or death. So who is brave enough to wake up, smell what’s really cooking, and join us to put a stop to corruption and restore this nation?

What if you all tell your friends what’s really going on, and we all vote for Gary Johnson in November? Will it actually make a difference if you vote for the lesser of two evils? Or will it make a real difference if we vote on principle and advance the cause of liberty?

People are waking up

As I prepare to set off for a much needed camping trip with my little family consisting of myself, my wife and my dog, I leave safe in the knowledge that there are those out there continuing the fight for liberty and truth.

Finally, people are starting to wake up. They are starting to realize that everything is staged.

People are starting to realize that the path they are on will only lead to destruction.

The mainstream media is failing, and the false flag attacks by corrupt governments are failing also.

“Great military peoples have conquered their known world time and time again through the centuries, only to die out in the inevitable ashes of their fire. Well over two thousand years ago, the Chinese philosopher, Laotzu, concluded that:”Weapons often turn upon the wielder, An army’s harvest is a waste of thorns.”We may have to resort to arms in the future, as we have in the past. We may have to use them to prevent atomic war from being launched against us. But let us have the wisdom to realize that the use of force is a sign of weakness on a higher plane, and that a policy based primarily on recourse to arms will sooner or later fail.” — Charles Lindbergh, Of Flight and Life, 1948

America, you have become a nation of enablers and apologists for tyranny and mass murder. You condemn the Nazi and gulag guards of times past even as you celebrate your own mercenaries and torturers, even as you explain away, if not outright cheer, the unspeakable crimes committed by your sons and daughters. You don’t care who you kill, as long as your soldiers are paid, and your munitions, bomb and tank factories are humming.

Safely ensconced in academic luna parks, your leading intellectuals lean slightly right or left, but never enough to rock this blazing gunboat, lest they sour the cocktail parties or, god forbid, have their tenure revoked. Mouths stuffed with antipasti, they’re expert at sidestepping Israel’s prolific crimes, 9/11, Bin Laden’s faux death or the parasitic Federal Reserve, and as another joke election nears, they’re all gung ho about candidates who back illegal wars and banking frauds, since each is supposedly the lesser of two evils.

I did not watch the presidential debates Wednesday night, because I’ve already found out that the two aired contenders are liars. I know that the whole thing was staged, and that no real difficult questions were answered. The status quo was maintained, and apparently Romney won. But there are so few people paying attention to the idiot box we call the TV right now, that it will not swing the vote. This is a good thing. The grip of the corrupt empire is tightening, and more systems are slipping through its fingers.

If we do not wake up soon, we will perish. There are many evil forces at bay, that extend past communism/fascism and the left vs right paradigm.

The dark ages were dark because people barely survived, and paid too much in taxes to feudal lords who lived lavishly of the peoples sacrifice. Inventions were quashed and scientists were hung. The status quo was maintained and the people were silenced. Do not allow anyone to quiet your mind or your resolve.

As I go offline for the weekend, I pray that the world will not while I’m gone.

So while I’m out on my mini adventure, do yourself and the world a favor; don’t let it destroy itself. Stand out as an individual. Rub your eyes, and venture out into the world. You are capable of anything. Evil only triumphs when good men do nothing, and the evil doers are running scared!

The debates: wasn’t Obama the lesser of two evils last time?

In the debates tonight, Gary Johnson will not be allowed to debate, but yet all of his supporters are being told that if we do not support Romney, Obama will get back in. If we are a large enough crowd to swing the vote, then why are we not allowed to be represented in the debates? Does this not tell you something? That a large majority is completely ignored and shutdown, and yet is told they must vote for another candidate, or they’ll split the vote?

So which is it? If we are large enough to swing the vote, why can we not have our presidential contender in the debates?

If you are republican; does Romney actually support your views and principles? And if not; will you stand with us, or against us? Since the libertarians represent most republican views and more, why do you not separate yourself from this broken two party system which does not represent you?

Wasn’t Obama the lesser of two evils the first time around?

Obama was supposed to bring the troops home and close Guantanamo Bay. This resonated with many voters.

McCain wanted to continue Bush’s policies, which many people didn’t want. Many people were tired of all the wars and endless bailouts and big government spending.

Judging by his record as governor of Massachusetts; Mitt Romney appears to be no different than Obama or Bush, and would continue all the same evil constitution crushing policies and massive government spending of his predecessors.

Why are we not supporting men of conviction instead? Why are we not supporting men with proven records of keeping their word and keeping the government in check?

Why are we pleading to candidates who act like feudal lords? Why are we choosing ‘the lesser of two evils’ in a vain effort to slow down evil, rather than end it?

When we look to presidents as being all powerful, we look to the main challenger and we ask them to save us. It’s like saying “Oh lord Romney, will you save us from the wrath of King Obama? Will you be good to your loyal subjects? Will you be a better ruler of the masses?” This is a tragic way to go about voting for ‘change’ in any country.

Why don’t we stand on our own two feet and vote on principle instead?

Why are we allowing ourselves to be guided by fears instead of convictions? Why are we not acting as the founding fathers did?

As far as electing president; Gary Johnson is our only real hope to make a difference in this election, and he should be allowed to debate the other two contenders.

Presidential Debate 2012: Gary Johnson Support Grows, Sponsors Pull Out to Protest Exclusion of Libertarians

Both President Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee are gearing up for their first presidential debate showdown in Denver on Wednesday, but there is one man who will not be participating in the prime-time television debate: libertarian candidate Gary Johnson. That decision has angered some Gary Johnson supporters so much that at least two of the original sponsors of the 2012 presidential debates have decided to pull their support.

Philips Electronics and the women’s organization YWCA have dropped their sponsorship, after they got flooded with letters from Gary Johnson supporters and the watchdog groups Open Debates and Help the Comission. According to US News, the non-profit which runs the presidential debates, the Commission on Presidential Debates, relies heavily on sponsors, so the decision by Philips Electronics and YWCA is likely to make a real impact.

In it announcement of its withdrawal of support, Philips wrote that it is concerned the commission’s work “may appear to support bi-partisan” instead of “non-partisan” politics. That comes as a major victory to Johnson supporters and Open Debate, who have been protesting the debates for months.

The commission had originally stated that Johnson could be included in the debates, but he ultimately failed to garner the 15 percent support of the national electorate in order to be featured. Although Johnson filed a lawsuit over being excluded, he still does not have enough support to meet the commission’s criteria. Since the commission was created in 1987, only at the 1992 debate, when Ross Perot appeared alongside George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, has a third-party candidate appeared on stage at a debate.

The Gary Johnson campaign is not expected to make in-roads in its legal challenge to being excluded, so libertarian supporters may seek to pressure more sponsors to boycott and pull their support as a way to express their disapproval with the debate commission.

3 out of 10 sponsors of the debates have already pulled out their funding. The paradigm shift is happening. People are waking up. They realize this election is a fraud. There is a real chance that Gary Johnson and the libertarians could win big in this election, and the media is terrified that the general populace will find out. Voting for one candidate to prevent another from winning is a terrible strategy and will only end in tragedy.

Will you be a part of the movement which forever changes the political landscape for the better? Or will you be part of the tired old broken tradition of voting for the lesser of two evils? Will you vote for more of the same under a different banner, or will you be brave enough to make a difference? The future is up to you, one by one, we will make a difference.

The good the bad and the ugly

Over the past fortnight we have witnessed political conventions from both the democrats and the republicans. We have also witnessed the birth of a revolution.

Here is ‘The Good, The Bad and The Ugly‘ from the last two weeks:

The Ugly

The Democratic Convention

The Democrats are so far gone, it’s like watching all the bad guys from ‘Atlas Shrugged’ It would take me a year to write out all the things that were wrong with the convention and their view points, and it still wouldn’t get us anywhere.

And no, we do not all ‘belong to the government’

The Bad

The Republican convention

My problem with the republicans is that they talk the talk, but they do not walk the walk. I liked many of the things that were discussed at the convention, but there was nothing concrete, and the president and vice president candidates are no good.

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan both have horrible spending records, and both support legislation which goes against the constitution. These are the two ‘conservative’ men who are challenging the current president and vice president.

The Good

The Independents

Clint Eastwood’s speech was aimed at all the politicians, and in a way it took a swipe at Romney himself. Clint Eastwood, like Ron Paul, rejected the polished teleprompter speeches, and made up one of his own. His speech could have been directed at almost everyone in government right now.

Ron Paul and his supporters fought to the last minute to get him onto the stage at the convention. The crushing way that the establishment stamped out the grassroots movement, including those of the Tea Parties, has helped expose the criminality and power hoarding behind the scenes.

Ron Paul’s last stand at the convention, and the way he was shunned, has shown us that the republican party is not on the right track, and has driven many of us toward the libertarian movement and to vote for Gary Johnson, who now leads the charge back toward liberty and fiscal responsibility.

Gary Johnson, former republican governor of New Mexico, who won in a state which is 2-1 democrat, and who vetoed over 750 bills while in office, is currently leading the libertarian party. With the disenfranchisement of many republicans and democrats, who know that both parties have lost their way, the libertarian party will see huge gains in November.

Do not fall into the collectivist trap, do not hide in numbers, do not vote for the lesser of two evils. Stand up as an individual and vote for your freedom and liberty.

There is no difference between Romney and Obama, but you can make a difference with Gary Johnson.

At the local level, there are many good republican candidates who support the constitution and fiscal responsibility. It is important that you get out and vote for anyone who espouses the foundations of this nation. This fight will not be won in November, but we will make an impact, and we will start to put the country back on track.

As for the criminals at the top; it’s time to round them up, and send them out!

The lesser of two evils

When George Bush left office, the country was in worse shape than when he started. The deficits had sky rocketed, government had grown exponentially and millions of Americans had been laid off. During Obama’s presidency, the deficit has skyrocketed, government has grown, and millions of Americans are still without jobs. During Mitt Romney’s time at Bain capital and as Governor of Massachusetts, debt was created and thousands of workers lost their jobs. Do we really think that voting in ‘the lesser of two evils’ is going to solve our problems?

Does the lesser of two evils simply mean the better of two liars?

I have published a few articles now about why Romney is no good, and how he is not a job creator. And my father-in-law has published many articles on how Obama is no good, and is not a job creator either. Romney is a looter. Obama is a Moocher. There is not much difference between them except that Romney came from a very good upbringing and should know better. What he does is purposeful and evil. Obama gives the impression that he does what he thinks is right. That does not make him better, but to use a Star Wars analogy Barack Obama is like Darth Vader, and by comparison Mitt Romney is Chancellor Palpatine. He says the right things, and tells us he will unite the country, yet his real intentions are far more sinister. If you look at his past at Bain Capital and as Governor of Massachusetts, what he did during those years, the people he looted from, the families and communities he actively destroyed, you will see a path of intended destruction. I shudder to think what his presidency would be like.

I’ve already pointed out that there’s no difference between Obama and Romney’s voting records and that they stand for the same things. But what Mitt Romney has done in the past and continues to do, is to loot others in the extreme. He and his acquaintances are the reason we are in this financial mess to begin with. Romney cares about no-one except himself. There is a difference between true gold standard backed capitalism, and the vulture crony capitalism that Mitt Romney practices; the kind that has destroyed the infrastructure of this country, and left once great cities like Gary Indiana completely gutted.

Can we survive another four years of Obama? Perhaps. We’ve already managed the first four. Can we survive four to eight years of Romney? I highly doubt it.

It’s not just that Mitt Romney’s fundamentals and credentials are deeply flawed, and that his business sense is to loot and plunder and destroy companies. It’s his foreign stance too. He has said that Russia is our number one Geo-political foe. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is not the 1980’s anymore, there is no cold war. The Russians are incapable of launching an assault on us, and have no intentions to. As of right now, Russia is heading deeper into capitalism, free markets and freedom, while we are running in the opposite direction. That is truly sad.

Another thing to consider is that Mitt Romney shares friendship with the likes of Benjamin Netanyahu, who wants to bomb Iran based on an unfounded threat. Mitt Romney is extremely dangerous, and he is certainly not a fiscal conservative or a constitutional answer to Obama.

I have provided much information that shows that Romney is no better, and indeed could be far worse than Obama.

The question is; what will you do?

Are we going to vote out Darth Vader and replace him with the Emperor himself? Remember that the worst leaders in history always start out by appealing to the voters with a way to save them.

Are we voting out one evil to instal a worse one?

Ask yourself whether there is any real difference between the two candidates, and ask yourself this;

Shall I vote for evil? Shall I vote for liars? Shall I continue to vote in a downward trend?

Or should you vote for liberty? Should you vote to live free? And how can we achieve this?

I say that anyone who is on the fence, disenfranchised by both parties, or simply wants a return to sound economics and individual liberties, should stand up, united under the cause of the liberty movement, and vote for Gary Johnson.

Gary Johnson is registered in all 50 states, and is sort of a backup plan for the Ron Paul supporters. Ron and Gary both share very similar ideas, and like each others work.

Can Gary Johnson win? Yes he can, with 1/3 democrat and 1/3 republican voters going to the polls, we can split the vote on both sides and turn both established parties on their heads.

Will Gary Johnson win? Probably not; because most people haven’t heard of him, and many more are clinging to the idea that Mitt Romney is somehow better than Obama and somehow the lesser of two evils. Whether we win the election or not, the more people who join us and become part of the liberty movement, the bigger the sledgehammer will be to take to the dam that both parties have built around our liberties.

I will be part of the movement which changes the history of this country for the better. I will be one of those who finally puts a big crack in the criminals dam.

I invite you to join me and the many others in the liberty movement. Together; let’s smash the dam and bring the water back to the tree of liberty.

Ron Paul Revolutionaries for Gary Johnson 2012!

The economy or your life

We are currently more concerned with taxation and the economy and fluff issues such as gay marriage and immigration, that we are not concentrating on the biggest issue of all, which is our individual liberties.

Mitt Romney’s ‘running mate’ Paul Ryan voted for the NDAA act, multiple bailouts and to extend the patriot act. That doesn’t sound like much of a liberty loving patriot to me. As for his budget, it is a mere drop in the ocean as to what we face and need to do to reign in the horrifically ballooned deficit. A 30 year program? That’s pathetic. Is that the best we can throw at the democrats?

As for the republic ticket thus far, giving them ‘red meat’ is not going to work. Republicans are historically only elected when the appeal to both sides of the isle.

Ron Paul’s message would appeal to both sides because he wants to bring the troops home (which the democrats like) and cut the budget by 1 trillion year one (which the republicans would love).

If you truly want the republicans to win, it has to be Ron Paul. Even if Mitt Romney’s plan (does he even have one?) boosts the economy, do realize that you are not voting for liberty. None of the candidates but Ron Paul have any interest in your liberties.

There are so many issues created to keep us divided, that we only concentrate on the one thing that immediately effects us all, and that is the economy. We are distracted by that, all the while the politicians are stripping away our freedoms one by one. We still have a chance to elect a libertarian candidate to the GOP ticket, who will restore liberties. Ron Paul would not only restore the economy, but restore the freedoms that protect our lives.

Economies boom and bust all the time, but they can be rebuilt. If we lose our liberties, there will be nothing left to rebuild from. So the most important question to ask is, which is more important? The economy or your life?

“We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our selection between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude” – Thomas Jefferson

The Revolution continues

The mainstream media claims that Mitt Romney has the GOP nomination, we are being told to pick between the lesser of two evils. Even the son of the greatest presidential candidate in history has flipped sides and decided to support the ‘presumptive nominee’ But the Revolution continues! You see, the Ron Paul Revolution is a philosophical one. It is the idea of self liberty and self determination. For much of the last one-hundred years the US population has been sidetracked into left vs right politicking, and has been left with the choice of ‘the lesser of two evils’.

I will not vote for Mitt Romney, I will not vote for him even with Rand Paul’s support. I will only vote for a man of principle, and that is Ron Paul. What is the point in voting for Obama-lite? Many of Obama’s policies and legislation are Romney inspired. Why would you go out and vote for another progressive? Why would you vote for a known flip-flopper? Why would you vote for another fraud, a snake in sheep’s clothing?

I’ve seen bumper stickers and comments that say that those who voted for Obama are idiots. Well, do you think that voting for McCain made you a saint? The John McCain who supported the bailouts, the wars of aggression in the middle east, and who co-wrote the NDAA act? Do you think that John McCain the progressive would have been much better than Obama the progressive?

All those on the left that say that those who voted for Bush (the counterfeit conservative) are idiots, do you really think that John Kerry would have been better, or Al Gore? Al Gore, the guy who sells the idea of Global Warming, and makes millions trading ‘carbon credits’.

Do you not see that the media steers you into choosing between ‘the lesser of two evils’ on a consistent basis?

When I went to the very first Tea Party in Cincinnati back in early 2009, I was impressed when a man made a speech about how he was tired of voting for ‘the lesser of two evils’. And now I see that the Tea Party, along with its supports such as Rand Paul and Glenn Beck, have abandoned their principles and are now supporting a progressive that is worse than George Bush!

Where are your principles?

Do you really think you’re going to make all that much difference when you throw your support behind a ‘chosen’ candidate who is firmly a part of the establishment? The same establishment that has given you all the rules and regulations, taxes, wars, and liberty stripping security that we now feel under the suffocating pillow of bloated government.

So I ask you, will you vote for another establishment candidate, or will you spread the word of Ron Paul? The word of liberty and the constitution. Or will you become another tool in the New World Order’s toolbox of useful idiots? Blindly believing that if you support their ‘chosen’ candidate, that you are somehow aiding the cause of freedom?

Don’t get swept up into the crowd, stand as an individual for liberty and spread the ideas of the consititution and of self worth. Don’t go along with the ‘mainstream’.

We still have time, and Ron Paul may well sweep the floor at the GOP convention in August in a similar way to how Ronald Reagan did in 1980. Soon the GOP and the democrats will realize that currently; neither have the young vote and that Ron Paul does. We want to live in a free and prosperous society, and we do not like the debt and burdens of slavery currently being handed to us.

The Ron Paul Revolution of liberty and restoring this country continues!

“An idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or any government!” – Ron Paul

The problem with the Republican Party

I’ve said it many times; that I’m libertarian and that I support Ron Paul. I just found a video from Judge Napolitano, that hits the nail directly on the head as to why the republican party is such a shambles right now:

And like I’ve said before, if you want the republican party to win this year; vote Ron Paul, and help get this country moving back toward liberty again.

Will the next presidents day become national monarch day? Or will we celebrate the beginning of one of the greatest presidencies in history? It’s up to you. Do you believe in real individual freedoms? Or are you as shallow as the other three candidates? You choose.

The left vs the right

I started writing this post a couple days ago, and it was originally a rant about Glenn Beck. It was more of a post to myself to get ideas and thoughts off my chest, and I wasn’t going to publish it. I like Glenn, but from time to time his actions perplex me. After I had typed the original content, I went back to it and re-edited it. I decided that with the added content, it was worth publishing. I usually just proof read my posts before I commit them, and then I set them to be published at 7:30pm each day. With this post I realized that there was a lot more to it. It’s not just about what Glenn does or doesn’t do. It’s about how we’re all played to become ‘left’, ‘right’, or simply become numb and ‘apathetic’ to the whole political process. Before anyone gets upset that I’m bashing Glenn, I’m not. I love Glenn because he is brave enough to ask the tough questions that no-one wants to ask, and he exposes the truth as he sees it. So thank you for that Glenn. You have opened up doors for many Americans, including myself. When I write I often try to see the subject from different view points to make it more balanced and to find the truth in it. This post is still a bit fractured, since there is so much I have to say, so take it as you will. Anyway, here is how I see things as far as the left and right spectrum of politics in America right now:

People like Glenn Beck talk about the 10% of people needed to lead us in a new direction. I believe there is more than 10%, but that they do not all talk to one another, they are divided, and they have their differences.

I cannot understand why Glenn will not get behind Ron Paul. Here is a candidate who is more like George Washington (Glenn loves Washington so much he wrote a book about him) than any candidate since the great man, and yet he will not support him. It is divisions like this as to why we’re not getting out of this mess any time soon. Glenn has helped to wake many people up, and yet he keeps himself closed off to so much. He is very quick to label others and shut down those who speak out against anything he says.

I think the reason Glenn does this is because of where he gets his information from. Glenn is a good hearted guy. I think when he finds certain information that he doesn’t like, he gets upset and labels it as evil. Personally, I take a more scientific approach. I usually take a step back and think about where the information is coming from, and why the source feels the way that they do. Now Glenn is very good at connecting the dots, but I feel that sometimes he allows his emotions to get in the way and allows things to become too one sided.

Why is he going on a comedy tour ‘unelectable 2’ during a presidential campaign year, when there is a George Washington who desperately needs his support? And why is Glenn trying to prepare us for doomsday when we have the capability right now to save ourselves from that?

I see that too many people allow themselves to be easily influenced by bias, they allow themselves to be pitted in a group of left vs right. And currently the new trend is to call everyone an ‘evil liberal’ or a ‘socialist’. While that’s all fine and dandy (and those who know me, know I hate socialism), they forget about fascism from the right. They forget about the crony capitalists, they forget all the evil on the right that liberals hate. I think most liberals have a good heart, and don’t want a big government. They’re probably just misguided into thinking that the government can provide so many things. A few social securities is not necessarily a bad thing, its how we go about them that’s important.

Why not have a social security for the elderly? But why not make it optional? Personally I’d rather do it myself, and that has a lot to do with my math and finance skills. If I were not good at these two subjects, I’d probably want to put it into someone else’s hands also.

The problem with big companies is when they get involved with big government. Special interests take over, and the little people get screwed.

Glenn wants us to turn everyone back to God. And he seems to play into the idea that the left are godless swine’s. Apparently the youth are stupid also and should be ignored, and on this point I do agree that many youth are misguided. But there are many who are fully in the fight for freedom, and many of them are not conservative. They are libertarian. They are more like the founding fathers than many conservatives I have met. Yes, many of the founding fathers believed in divine providence, but this is a secular nation. One where any religion can be practiced. Up until the 1950’s the pledge of allegiance did not have ‘under god’ in it. The whole Godly right and atheist left idea is designed to divide and conquer us.

I am not very religious, but I believe heavily in morality, and I like many of the teachings of Christianity and indeed many of the other popular religions.

The mainstream media has done a good job of labeling Ron Paul as a fruitcake and I find it deeply disturbing because combating the ‘left wing’ by going to the extreme right is a surefire way of losing liberty.

I see how easily good hearted conservatives often get thrown into the far right, and how good hearted liberals get thrown into the progressive crowd. I think most Americans want to maintain their independence, and all this infighting will get us no-where. Of course, there are some on the very far right that will say I’m collectivist for saying that. No, I’d rather agree to disagree with ‘the other side’, than allow the republic to fracture and allow our system of government to be completely taken over by oligarchy.

We get so wrapped up in our daily lives, that we don’t see the obvious problems in front of us. By the end of a long day we sit down and listen to the MSM (mainstream media) because it sounds so appealing. ‘Those darn liberals’ we say to ourselves as we watch Sean Hannity bash ‘the left’, and we say ‘those darn tea baggers’ as CNN bashes ‘the right wing nuts’. We don’t sit down long enough to realize that it is all a complete farce, that we are pitted against each other to serve the special interests of a select few.

It’s time to wake up America; you are being used! And yes, that includes conservatives too.

I am libertarian for a reason. I believe in freedom and liberty. I do not allow myself to fall into one side or the other because that has become the special interests strategy for dividing and conquering the country.

This country has no place pushing our might around in the world. Our strength comes from our willingness to trade and our innovations. Our products are created from our ingenuity and we are able to invent new ideas because we have the freedom to do so.

Long drawn out wars do not serve our republic, and calling liberals and libertarians ‘pacifists’ is a very fascist thing to say. Those who are talking about creating war in other nations might want to check their facts before they begin beating their war drums some more. If I get attacked, I’ll put the criminal on the ground. If my house gets broken into at night, I’ll shoot to kill, if our country gets attacked, we should use everything in our might to repel the attack. But: we have no place bullying other countries in the world into submission. That is imperial, that is empire, and that weakens our nation as we print fake money to pay for our soldiers to be blown to bloody bits.

Wake up and stop being a ‘useful idiot’, yes that includes conservatives. The only way forward, the only way upward, the only way to restore the republic and the constitution is to create unity through freedom and independence; find a common ground from there, it is our only hope. We can go back to our silly left vs right bickering later.

Do not fall into the trap.
