Calm after the storm

The last month has been hectic, particularly in politics. In the weeks running up to the RNC I was nervous about Ron Paul getting the votes he needed, and maintaining his delegates in the face of tyranny from the Romney camp. I made a last stand to defend the great doctor, and to wake as many people up as possible before the roll call at the RNC on the 28th August 2012. A day which will now live in infamy; a day when a great constitutional patriot was shunned live on television for the world to see. I was infuriated that the republican establishment would stoop so low and shun the only man in the room who could win the general election for us. But on reflection, they did us a great favor; we now know that both parties are completely corrupt and need to go. Many of Ron Paul’s supporters including myself will now be voting for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, who vetoed over 750 bills while governor of New Mexico. The revolution was gaining momentum before that fateful day, now it has gone into high gear.

Then came the DNC, and what a cop-out that was. I didn’t watch very much of it, but the ‘highlights’ were atrocious. We are currently living in Ayn Rand’s nightmare before the heroes leave in ‘Atlas Shrugged’.

And now that hurricane Issac has passed, and the parties are done with their conventions, it leaves me to wonder if I should shrug too. I worked very hard to promote Ron Paul during his campaign, and spent the entire week after the RNC showing how Gary Johnson is very similar to Ron Paul, and that patriots should vote for him instead of ‘the lesser of two evils.’

This country cannot survive much more money printing. We have already reached 16 trillion dollars; which is completely unsustainable. And there are far too many people who are asleep at the wheel in politics, or simply do not understand how bad things really are and why.

When I got back from my trip to see my family back in England earlier this year, I felt like I was entering a prison. I wrote about how I felt in a blog a couple days after I landed. It was shocking to me to find ‘the land of the free’ to be in such a state of tyranny.

For me I could easily shrug and live somewhere else. One of the perks of being born in Britain is that you never lose your citizenship. If I wanted to, I could return home or live overseas in Europe or a number of other islands spread throughout the world. But as Ayn Rand said “you can avoid evil, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding evil.” This is very true. Sure I could shrug, but how far would it get me? I could buy myself some time, and live like some sort of fugitive, but I wouldn’t be living a good and full life. When I came to this country I believed in the promise of freedom in America, in the American dream that you could make anything of yourself that you please. So my shock and upset at realizing that this country has fallen down the slippery slope toward totalitarianism, has only strengthened my resolve to be one of the leading voices to pull the country and its patriotic citizens out of the abyss.

This road back toward liberty will not be easy. This road has not yet been charted. We are like Knights forging through the thick forest, creating our own trails in our wake. My father in law created a post about himself, and the new generation of writers who lead the way through the mindless masses and media deception to expose the truth.

We will lead the charge back toward liberty, because if it is lost here in America, then there is little hope for the rest of the world.

For now though, I feel calm. I have made many of the points I needed to over the last month, and I’m enjoying somewhat of a vacation in my mind. It is always buzzing and sometimes there are great waves that must splash down and create; usually in the form of writing. Right now though, my mind is calm, and is clear like the weather outside. It is truly a beautiful early fall afternoon, and I feel like taking a ride on my V-Star. There is something very soothing about riding a V-Twin motorcycle through the countryside on a fall afternoon.

The future of war and peace

The United States currently has the strongest air force in the world. It maintains its superpower status by maintaining its fleet.

Before the US gained air superiority. Britain had the stongest Navy in the world, and its fleet of battleships ruled the seas, maintaining Britain’s supremacy as the worlds formost superpower.

But nation’s do not stay powerful for long. Not when they have become collectivist at heart, and loot their general populace.

The United States, while having the strongest millitary, also has the largest spending. The US spends more on defence, than the next fifteen countries combined!

If standing armies were the badge of a superpower before navies, and airforces are the current standard. Wouldn’t you suppose that the next step would be the domination of space?

We currently have hundreds of satilites revolving around the earth. Many of these are capable of capturing images from countries the world over, and reporting back the going’s on, in great detail.

The next step in superiority is space, not in an airforce, which requries a great deal of fuel to keep going.

The deal we currently have with China is dangerous. We do ship our jobs over seas. But it is worse than that. Our fine young minds are unable to expand their thoughts and ideas due to heavy government regulations and red tape.

The country that once embraced and produced new technologies, now ships them over seas at the blink of and eye.

There are vultures throughout government, who are more interested in making a quick buck, and looting the general populace, than of streamlining the inventing and producing process through simpler laws and regulations.

This nation’s wealth is tied to its inventors and producers. It’s debt and hardships are tied to its vultures in government and corrupt corporations in bed with these parasites.

A nation cannot sustain a war effort without an economy to produce its arms, and keep its armies supplied.

This nation’s economy is crumbling, and thus, our war capacity is failing. The traitors in government are selling this country down the river with every new peice of strangling legislation and tax increase, and every new expansion of war funding and sanction signing. To create more wars when we have a failing economy, is not only immoral, but dangerous to our very way of life.

The future of warfare lies in new technology, and can only be produced by the great minds of the world. The inventors and producers must be allowed to thrive within our borders, or else they will go elsewhere or simply shrug and not produce.

Our real defense of this nation lies within the individual, with his ability to defend himself, his family, and his neighbors with his shotgun and pistol, and assault rifle if necessary. It is not up to the traitors who want to ban guns and ammo, and leave the country open to invasion.

We have traitors in our midst, who would leave us naked and exposed to rouge regimes of the world. Those who wish us to give up our guns, wish us to not only give up our liberties and safeguards for freedom and way of life, but to leave us exposed to the rouge elements of our own society, and to the pariah regimes of the world.

Our armies are stretched thin throughout the world. The war mongers are beating the drums for more wars. Our debt is spiraling out of control, and the traitors are asking us to give up our last line of defense.

The future of war, and of peace, lies at home with the individual. And if attacked, those individuals can rise up and defend their nation.

There is a movie from 1955 ‘the dam busters‘, that depicts Barnes Wallis who invented ‘the bouncing bomb‘ that took out two huge damns on the Ruhr in Germany, slashing their capacity to make steel by two thirds. This wreaked more havoc on the German war machine, than the entire air force could on a string of factories.

Wars are won by individuals. Not only their leaders in their armies, but by the  inventors who create new technologies, or simply refine old ones, to suit the new problems in war.

Watch the skies, and keep an eye on China, they have amassed wealth at our disposal, and we have allowed the traitors in this country to let it happen.

We need to reduce the deficit, bring the troops home to slash the defense bill, and concentrate on rebuilding ourselves from within.

The future of war and of peace lies in our hands, and ours alone.

Tell the world of Paschendale

Iron Maiden is a very well known heavy metal band from the 1980’s. Aside from the fact they are still playing, and at this minute on tour, they continue to put out very intriguing and passion filled songs.

One of my favorite songs is ‘Paschendale’. Which recalls one of the bloodiest battles from the ‘Great War’.

Britain lost 1/10 of its entire population during the first world war. An entire generation was wiped out. And for what? None of the European countries gained anything substantial from the bloodbath.

Please listen to the song and read the lyrics, it is a haunting message, that bares not only truth from the brutal conflict, but a warning to future generations.

In a foreign field he lay
Lonely soldier, unknown grave
On his dying words he prays
Tell the world of Paschendale

Relive all that he’s been through
Last communion of his soul
Rust your bullets with his tears
Let me tell you ’bout his years

Laying low in a blood filled trench
Kill time ’til my very own death
On my face I can feel the falling rain
Never see my friends again

In the smoke, in the mud and lead
Smell the fear and the feeling of dread
Soon be time to go over the wall
Rapid fire and end of us all

Whistles, shouts and more gun fire
Lifeless bodies hang on barbed wire
Battlefield nothing but a bloody tomb
Be reunited with my dead friends soon

Many soldiers eighteen years
Drown in mud, no more tears
Surely a war no-one can win
Killing time about to begin

Home, far away
From the war, a chance to live again
Home, far away
But the war, no chance to live again

The bodies of ours and our foes
The sea of death it overflows
In no man’s land, God only knows
Into jaws of death we go

Crucified as if on a cross
Allied troops they mourn their loss
German war propaganda machine
Such before has never been seen

Swear I heard the angels cry
Pray to god no more may die
So that people know the truth
Tell the tale of Paschendale

Cruelty has a human heart
Every man does play his part
Terror of the men we kill
The human heart is hungry still

I stand my ground for the very last time
Gun is ready as I stand in line
Nervous wait for the whistle to blow
Rush of blood and over we go

Blood is falling like the rain
Its crimson cloak unveils again
The sound of guns can’t hide their shame
And so we die on Paschendale

Dodging shrapnel and barbed wire
Running straight at cannon fire
Running blind as I hold my breath
Say a prayer symphony of death

As we charge the enemy lines
A burst of fire and we go down
I choke a cry but no-one hears
Feel the blood go down my throat

Home, far away
From the war, a chance to live again
Home, far away
But the war, no chance to live again

Home, far away
From the war, a chance to live again
Home, far away
But the war, no chance to live again

See my spirit on the wind
Across the lines, beyond the hill
Friend and foe will meet again
Those who died at Paschendale

War is a costly and bloody concept, and should be avoided. It is very hard, if not impossible for a country to take over another, with an armed populace. That is why the US could not win in Vietnam, and continues to fail in Afghanistan. That is why the Zulu defeated the British during the Zulu wars.

Our modern killing machines are capable of so much death and destruction. Why send our young men out to die in droves in fruitless wars? Surely the time tested idea of self defense is a better strategy than the continued failings of preemptive wars of aggression.

Please consider this when you think the idea of attacking Iran is a good one. Iran has no intention of harming us or Israel, unless provoked. Iran has not initiated a war in over two hundred years. Israel has a huge nuclear weapons stock pile, and Iran has none. Listen to the rhetoric on the mainstream media when they insinuate that Iran may be trying to build a nuclear bomb. Notice how they can’t actually prove anything, or even tell you that they are building one.

If we side with the current twisted leadership of Benjamin Netanhayu, and attack Iran, China and Russia may well get involved. This has the potential to start a third world war. And many lives will be lost. And for what?

Unless you are prepared to pick up your own arms and go off to war yourself, be careful about where you rattle your war saber. Cruelty does have a human heart, and every man does play his part. Your opinion matters. Are you prepared to back up your own words? I know I am.

This post is dedicated to all those who died during the brutal conflict of World War I, and a warning to those who call for more death and destruction in what should be a peaceful world after ‘the war to end all wars’.

The Power of One

I’ve heard that Ron Paul cannot be elected and I’ve heard that one man cannot make a difference. I’ve heard that there must be a large and strong enough group for anything to succeed, and that one person alone cannot achieve anything. And to all of them I say:

Bull!

One man can change the world.

Think about this; the communists began their rise to power with only 18 men!

Our countries are governed with very view, and there are far fewer rich than there are middle class and poor.

If one man has the bravery to stand up, to speak the truth, to use words as his weapon and knowledge as his shield, who stands up for liberty, and does not give up when others laugh him down.

Winston Churchill was ignored throughout the 30’s, and yet he became the greatest Prime Minister Britain has ever known, because all of what he said became true, and he was the only one to lead the country through the darkness.

Out of office and politically “in the wilderness” during the 1930s, Churchill took the lead in warning about Nazi Germany and in campaigning for rearmament. On the outbreak of the Second World War, he was again appointed First Lord of the Admiralty. Following the resignation of Neville Chamberlain on 10 May 1940, Churchill became Prime Minister. His steadfast refusal to consider defeat, surrender, or a compromise peace helped inspire British resistance, especially during the difficult early days of the War when Britain stood alone in its active opposition to Hitler. Churchill was particularly noted for his speeches and radio broadcasts, which helped inspire the British people. He led Britain as Prime Minister until victory over Nazi Germany had been secured.

Never give in–never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

The patriots of this country were up against the greatest power in the world, and had everything against them. So many times they were almost defeated, and so many times they could have easily given up. But there was one who did stand up, who did carry on, and that one man inspired others to do so because of his convictions.

His name was George Washington.

George Washington led his army through a terrible weather:

Valley Forge

Washington’s army of 11,000[78] went into winter quarters at Valley Forge north of Philadelphia in December 1777. Over the next six months, the deaths in camp numbered in the thousands (the majority being from disease),[79] with historians’ death toll estimates ranging from 2000[79] to 2500,[80][81] to over 3000 men.[82] The next spring, however, the army emerged from Valley Forge in good order, thanks in part to a full-scale training program supervised by General von Steuben.[83] The British evacuated Philadelphia to New York in 1778,[84] shadowed by Washington. Washington attacked them at Monmouth, fighting to an effective draw in one of the war’s largest battles.[85] Afterwards, the British continued to head towards New York, and Washington moved his army outside of New York.[84]

Washington led a surprise attack the winter before, showing his determination to see the cause of the rebellion prevail:

The Battle of Trenton took place on December 26, 1776, during the American Revolutionary War, after General George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River north of Trenton, New Jersey. The hazardous crossing in adverse weather made it possible for Washington to lead the main body of the Continental Army against Hessian soldiers garrisoned at Trenton. After a brief battle, nearly the entire Hessian force was captured, with negligible losses to the Americans. The battle significantly boosted the Continental Army’s flagging morale, and inspired re-enlistments.

No one else could have done what he did. He used his intellect, and courage to take the fight to the enemy, when no one else would have.

Gandhi stood up to the British Empire and freed his people from their governance. He was one man.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Gujarati: મોહનદાસ કરમચંદ ગાંધી; Hindi: मोहनदास करमचंद गांधी, pronounced: [moːˈɦənd̪aːs kəˈrəmtʃənd̪ ˈɡaːnd̪ʱi] ( listen). 2 October 1869[1] – 30 January 1948) was the pre-eminent political and ideological leader of India during the Indian independence movement. Pioneering the use of non-violent resistance to tyranny through mass civil disobedience, a tool to fight for civil rights and freedom that he called satyagraha, he founded his doctrine of nonviolent protest to achieve political and social progress based upon ahimsa, or total nonviolence for which he is internationally renowned.[3][4] Gandhi led India to its independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.

Martin Luther King was one man who led the cause for racial equality.

You have the power to make a difference.

All you need to do is stand up, make yourself heard, do your research, and never give up your pursuance of the truth. Never give up the idea of liberty and freedom, no matter what tyrannical governments may be up to at that point in time.

Words are powerful, and all the while we are able to use them and speak out, we should do so.

An idea can change the world, but first you must speak it and let it be heard.

The power of one is within you.
