Why I can’t quit

A couple of days ago I posted a few of my articles on the galts gulch forum, of which I’ve been a member for over a year now. While I have contributed articles in the past to the gulch, this was the first time I saw such a flurry of activity on my blog the next day, as readers were going through my articles and signing up to follow my page. There were many positive comments, and thanks for the content of the articles. This along with other positive comments from my regular readers reminded me of why I write in the first place. I have a unique perspective, coming from another English speaking nation which lost it’s way, I can draw parallels between what is happening here, and what happened in Britain after the second world war.

I recognize that while it may seem futile, and even dangerous for my own well being to write about government corruption, that if nothing is said, evil will certainly prevail.

While history has already been written, the future hasn’t been. No matter how many progressives there are, no matter how many corrupt in power, no matter how many laws, no matter how large the police state already is, no matter what their plans, what their intentions may be, the future has not been written yet. While we surely live in perilous times, we also live in a wonderful age of information and technology.

As Ron Paul said “an idea who’s time has come, cannot be stopped by any army or any government”

While 2013 was a bad year for liberty and capitalism, it also was a major success for the freedom movement in as far as getting our message out there.

As Napoleon once said ”ten people who speak make more noise than ten thousand who are silent.” And that is why despite not always feeling like it, despite not always having enough time, I will continue to write, to add my perspective to the world wide web, for other like minded people to see. For new comers to read, and to perhaps turn on the light in the minds of those who are already close to finding out the truth.

For me, reading Atlas Shrugged made the world make sense, and helped me understand what needs to be done to correct our nations course.

While we’d all rather watch TV, and live our lives in a more comfortable way, we know that we must speak up, simply to preserve our way of live. Despite wanting to spend more time on my business, my career, and my family, I will continue to add my perspective through this blog. I realize that my future depends on my speaking up, not shutting up. Those who have read Atlas Shrugged, who understand where socialism leads, know that we cannot allow the progressives to control the narrative. The future is ours for the taking, if we simply keep up the good fight, speak up, and speak often.

While 2014 poses a great threat to liberty, it could well be our best year yet!

Lessons from 2013

2013 saw an array of assaults from the communist left; from gun control to Obamacare. But the right is fighting back. 2013 witnessed the rise of the Libertarians. It saw filibusters from Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. It saw the continuation of the Tea Party movement, when many said it was over. The Tea Party facebook page is now over 2 million strong. That’s two million people just like you and me, who aren’t afraid of what their aunties and uncles, nephews, sisters, brothers, parents, friends and co-workers think of them. That’s two million people who know what is right, who know what is wrong, and know that something must be done about it; no matter what others may think of them.

2013 2

The left has so poisoned the media and the general culture, which starts at the poisoned education centers, that people are now concerned only with feelings, instead of what is right and wrong. We’ve got nanny states, who pamper our kids, and who exclude individuals who step out of line.

2013 3

2013 saw the farce that is government, spend more money shutting down monuments and parks than it would have taken to keep them open, in order to make people feel bad. It then saw veterans from around the nation throw these barricades onto the White House lawn. It saw the media ignore this, all the while the independent alternative media went crazy, and images were bounced all over the internet for the entire world to see.

2013 6

After the cowardly and stupid push for gun control in Colorado, 2013 saw this states citizens create a petition, and recall its out of touch senators.

2013 1

2013 proved that no matter how strong the few in power are, no matter how many useful idiots they have at their feet, they are fundamentally weak because they do not stand on principles. They have no honor and integrity, and in this new information age, the world is beginning to see right through them. So do not let your hearts be troubled by the avalanche of stupidity that is swelling at our feet from their crookedness. Stand up and be strong. Find your principles, stand on them. Be a light in the dark, be a person of honor and integrity. Speak up, and remember that “Ten people who speak make more noise than ten thousand who are silent.” – Napoleon

2013 4

Continue to read about the founding fathers, about Ayn Rand, continue to fill your head with truths. Be the person who can call out a lie, and dismiss it quickly and finally with the truth.

2013 5

2013 has taught me that anything is possible. That no matter how dark things may seem, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your feet planted firmly on the ground, and stand out for all the world to see. We survived 2013, let us continue the fight back into 2014!

Obama go home

Mr President, it is time for you to step down. Your actions over the last few weeks have shown the few remaining people of the United States who were still holding out that your intentions were good, that you have no good intentions at all.

Your campaign of pain on the American people is utterly despicable, and your continuing golf trips show just how out of touch you are.

go home 3

You know that you have committed impeachable offenses. You know your administration is rotten to the core. Whether you truly are a Marxist, or just a guy who thought his ideas were better than the last guy’s, no longer matters. Your presidency has become a miserable failure.

go home 6

You tried to provoke race riots with the Zimmerman trial. You tried to crash the stock market during the beginning of the government shutdown. You’ve spent huge sums of money (far more than it would have taken to keep them open) on barricading national monuments dedicated to our greatest citizens who fought and died for the country that we all live in.

go home 7go home 1

Your Obamacare has begun just as we said it would; as a complete and utter failure. You promised to cut spending and lower the national debt. You’ve done the opposite.

go home 2

Mr President, I don’t know what your goals are; whether its the socialization of the USA, the globalization of the world into a one world government, or perhaps you just do whatever your masters tell you to do. I don’t know. But what I do know is; your presidency has been a disaster. We’ve had the slowest ‘recovery’ in living memory, and jobs are scarce.

go home 5

If you want to retire with dignity, I suggest you formally resign from office, before impeachments begin.

go home 8

Now I’m sure you saw those protesters outside the White House yesterday, throwing barricades in from of the lawn. Those protesters are timid in comparison to those of your own party who will be lining the streets when the food stamp programs run out, or the stock market collapses. What will you do then? What happens when they take to the streets, and you have no more friends left?

go home 4

So we’re asking you now to step down and just go home. Wherever that may be. If you want to retire to Hawaii, Indonesia, or even Kenya. I don’t care. I don’t know where you’re truly from, so you should just choose a place to go back to. Just leave us all alone. Leave the American people to make up their own minds. Leave the constitution alone.

Mr Obama, please, just go home.

Put your money where your mouth is Lakota

For all those conservatives living in Liberty Township and West Chester in Butler County Ohio, I urge you to put your money where your mouth is this November. Once again the Lakota School district is asking for another tax increase due to it’s inability, or lack of interest in balancing its budgets.

mouth 1

Since West Chester and Liberty Township are predominantly conservative, you’d think it would be an easy victory against tax increases every time right? Unfortunately the answer is ‘no’. Many Republicans do not stick by their principles and are certainly not fiscally conservative.

I urge every conservative republican in the Lakota School district to put their money where their mouth is this November and vote NO to any new tax increases.

mouth 4

If you think the National Government is bad, if you think that the deficit is horrendous, if you’re one of the people who is always complaining about government interference, taxation and mismanagement of budgets, then put your money where your mouth is!

If you think that whining about national government policies is going to make much of a difference; you’re dead wrong. If you think that helping to raise taxes at the local level has nothing to do with mismanagement at the federal level; you’re dead wrong.

My father in law; Rich Hoffman, has spent tireless hours slaving away at his blog posts explaining why voting for tax increases is a bad idea, and how much of the money goes toward teachers salaries and Union contracts. If you want all the finer details I urge you to read his blog posts, and do some research for yourself.

As for me, I’ll narrow it down nice and neat; if you’re a Republican and you vote for a tax increase this election period; you’re a hypocrite! You should tear up your Republican card right now and go join the progressive Democrat Party. They love Unions, and they love your tax dollars. Or instead, you can put your money where your mouth is, vote no to tax increases and have an actual impact at the local level, which will inevitably reverberate at the national level. And if you think your kids will somehow be better off with more tax dollars going to these institutions, you’re dead wrong also. These institutions are mismanaged beyond belief, and if you just keep throwing money at them, you’ll only make them worse. Think of a future America with massive taxes, and no good place for people to go; that is the future with these levies. If we do not accept responsibility and actually balance budgets now in the present, we will be setting a bad precedent for the future. If you think a few extra dollars a month won’t hurt; think of the local businesses that will lay off workers to pay for the massive tax hikes on their expensive buildings. Where will your teenage sons and daughters work during the summer? Where will they learn responsibility? Where will they learn integrity? If you don’t stand up and make a tough choice and do the right thing, who will be there to teach your children otherwise?

Actions have consequences, and local taxes are no different that national taxes. Taxes are always a bad thing, and you have the power to stop them. So put your money where your mouth is this election and vote NO to the Lakota Tax Levy.
