The tale of two cult personalities

This is a short tale of two cult personalities who once represented both the liberal and conservative disenfranchised.

The first is Glenn Beck

Glenn Beck led the pack during the opening days of the Obama administration. He exposed those behind the scenes and led us down a rabbit hole of conspiracies and corruption.

Glenn was supposed to be a conservative. Now that there is finally a candidate that wants to do everything he’s wanted and supported for years, he rails against him.

Now it seems that Glenn has turned on the remainder of his core audience in a last ditch effort to save the establishment controlled government. He’s called himself a conservative, he’s called himself a libertarian. He’s appealed to the alt right type conservatives (that he’s now attacking) for years and tried to paint a rosy picture of biblical type conservatism. And yet at the very end, in reality perhaps he’s just a recovering alcoholic with liberal leaning ideology? Maybe he’s just confused? Maybe he’s been paid all long to put out disinformation?

Glenn’s anti Trump rhetoric leads one to believe that perhaps all he really wants to do preserve the system which has made him rich.

In the end he did expose George Soros in a big way, and that has led many to seek out a leader in Donald Trump. So we should thank Glenn for opening Pandora’s Box. Maybe he is just too scared to see a good leader emerge in Trump. Or maybe he only opened the box to purposefully steer us away from ever electing a good leader so he could profit from the mayhem. Even those closest to him don’t know what to think anymore. Perhaps its a little like the Indiana Jones movies, too much information at once will melt you. Glenn has melted down one too many times and all that’s left is a puddle where he used to lead the lost and disenfranchised in this country. Now they turn to a true leader in Donald Trump. One who will actually turn things around and get things done instead of only ever complaining about them.

The second is Michael Moore

Michael in a way lead the movement to elect Barack Obama. He railed against George Bush for years, decrying the Iraq War and exposing the issues with the healthcare system.

Ironically and somewhat sadly, he now supports Hillary, who voted for the war and supported Obamacare, which has only made healthcare worse and more expensive.

Michael created a documentary called ‘sicko’. Yet supports Barack Obama and his affordable healthcare act, which only makes medical treatment more expensive and less available for the average American.

Michael is supposedly a big supporter of socialism, yet supports a fascist called Hillary Clinton. Remember the collusion of government and big business is fascism.

Michael just doesn’t know what to do now. His world has been turned upside down. He’s supporting the very things he railed against in his documentaries.

Michael’s anti Trump rhetoric only proves that he is lost. Where has he been the last eight years anyway?

two-personalities-2

In this tale of two cult personalities the moral of the story is that when a system gets shaken down, all those who have profited from it get tossed out. These two cult leaders don’t know what to make of it. All they know and realize is that their time is up, and they don’t like it. You have Glenn who is railing against everything he is supposed to love, and Michael who is voting for all that he is supposed to hate.

Cult leaders come and go. These two have seen their heyday and they know it. Be careful who you follow.

The American Dream?

I bought into the American dream when I moved here. I wanted a big house and the lifestyle that goes with it. A pickup on the driveway, a pool in the back yard, and a beer after a hard day’s work.

In many ways I still want that, but the powers that be seem intent on robbing that dream from everyone.

Whether it be social engineering programs, or outright extortion by government entities. The American dream is slowly but surely being eroded away.

We’re supposed to believe that buying a house and owning your own property is the greatest ideal in this country. And yet, with all the new rules and regulations, owning your own house has become a means of extortion by the authorities.

Not only will the bank reposes your home if you miss a couple of payments (no matter if you’ve been paying for years without problem) but the government will steal it from you if you don’t pay your taxes. Not only that; you are now required to have insurance if you take out a loan, and tax levies are raised on an almost yearly bases. You have building codes to live up to, inspections are required, and if you build anything without the ‘proper’ documents or permissions, you will be forced to take them down, pay a fine, get booted out of your own home, or have it destroyed before your very eyes by a thuggish police force.

No, the American dream is not dead yet, but it is very close.

My wife and I are in the middle of looking for a house, but we refuse to give in to the pressures of settling for whatever the market thinks is right. We may or may not find what we are looking for, but the idea of having to conform to community standards, and pay overwhelming taxes, does not appeal to me. Currently I pay rent, but at least I can get up and leave whenever I want to.

My generation is often made fun of by our parents and grandparents generations, for not being responsible enough. But you ask us to pay for the debt your generations created, and for the laws and taxes you allowed to be passed on your watch. Is it any wonder why my generation cannot be motivated to get up and earn a living. When you consider that the dollar is worth less and less every day, and all the meaningful jobs are sent over seas, because government red tape and taxes make it too expensive to produce here.

America was founded upon innovations, and the idea that you could create anything you wanted. If you want that house, you can go out and build it. Yes, you can still do that, but the limitations are growing, and the gap is widening between rich and poor. The middle class is becoming extinct, and the excuse is socialism. But my friends, what we’re really living in is a fascist police state, where corrupt government and crony corporatists rule the roost.

It is time to take this country back and restore real capitalism. It is time to enshrine the individual and his dreams again. This collectivist crap has got to go!

Stand up for your rights, vote against all new tax levies on a local level, and stop giving away your freedoms to conformity. The American dream is supposed to be your own individual dream, not a squarely cut front lawn just like everybody else’s.
