The Batman Blood Bath

I was deeply saddened to read the news about the massacre in Colorado late Thursday night at the premier of the third Batman movie. As a regular movie goer myself, I can only imagine how the victims and witnesses must have felt.

The mainstream circus media as usual is covering this tragedy with minute to minute reports, while subliminally sliding in their agendas. Politicians are already calling for tighter gun measures, and many other nations are scoffing at the United States’ policy of allowing its citizens to own guns.

Now is not the time for political measures and media circuses. What happened was a tragedy. Yes guns can be deadly, but they are not death rays, of the 71 people shot, 12 died. 80% of the people shot survived. When England experienced a similar incident in the 90’s handguns were banned outright not long afterwards in a knee jerk ruling in parliament. Since that fateful day handgun crime has sky rocketed, and more people die by guns than ever before, in a nation that cannot legally poses firearms.

Please do not allow the politicians and media turn this tragic event at the hands of a mad man, to turn into a ploy to take your weapons from you. Learn how to shoot a gun, get a concealed carry permit if you feel comfortable doing so. Help promote safe firearms handling and understanding, and promote the carrying of weapons for self defense. Don’t allow the parasitical elements of society to turn this into a way to take your last freedom from you.

Mourn the victims, help their families and friends in their moments of need, but celebrate the lives of the ones lost by living yours to its fullest potential. Show spite at the mad man by continuing to buy your own guns for self defense. And let the government know that just because of a few nut cases, does not mean you should allow all the criminals a free hand in society by disabling the protections of innocent people by banning their gun owning and constitutional rights.

I will mourn for the victims of this massacre, but I will not watch the news any more, and I will get on with my life. I will go and see the movie, with a moment of silence and a prayer at the beginning of it, then I will enjoy it for what its worth. I will do this because there are many tragedies in the world, there are shootings, rapes and mass murders every day throughout the world in many different countries. There are gangs on poverty stricken streets in America, and there are dictators of pariah regimes in other nations who order summary executions. There is death and despair all over the world, but there is also hope.

Always think of the good things in life, advocate freedom in the world, and live life to the fullest, tell your loved ones what they mean to you, and spend time with them. Life is short. If you’re lucky you’ll get old, but there are many short endings that pop up, whether it be at the end of a madman’s gun or from an accident or disease.

Remember that the point of terrorism, whether domestic or international, is to change one’s point of view, to gear a nation up for war, or to change an election. Don’t allow this event to change you or your country or its ideals of freedom and the right to protect that.

I will mourn the dead, as I do for other areas and nations, and move on.

Please spare us of your lies.

‘A Home Office study published in 2007 reported that gun crime in England and Wales remained a relatively rare event. Firearms (including air guns) were used in 21,521 recorded crimes. It said that injury caused during a firearm offence was rare, with fewer than 3% of offences resulting in a serious or fatal injury’

    1. Wow, lies huh?

Yes, firearms offences are rare in Britain, and I will not dispute the article you provided, since I had already read it myself some time ago. But to suggest that I lie about the handgun crime skyrocketing, I must ask where you got your information from? Or did you research it at all? You see, having grown up there I can tell you first hand that all violent crime has risen, and that the government does all it can to skew the facts.

How about a couple of articles just to wet your appetite on why the ban on handguns has failed in Britain:

Then lets move on to the three most successful countries that banned guns from its citizenry over the last 100 years, including:

      Nazi Germany
      Soviet Russia
      Communist China

And what great successes they were! Freedom and safety for all, wouldn’t you say?

The truth is, totalitarian regimes pride themselves on safety. It is their number one goal, and the end game is complete control and the slavery of the populace.

England still might have a lower crime rate overall compared to other countries, historically it has always had a lower crime rate, but since the guns were banned, it has done nothing to lower the crime rate, and indeed it has soared.

  2. This is absolutely amazing. All of it. The best thing I’ve read about this incident hands down and exactly how I feel too. Thank you for writing this.
